Hello,
I already have the IPOD mini and just purchased IPOD 60 GB. The instructions recommended that I install the software that came with the device, but it won't completely install. I am afraid to uninstall itunes and quick time for fear that I will lose my whole library of music?

An install shouldn't even touch your music folders, but you better have a backup, anyway.
So where does the install stop at? Any error message?

HELP! Can't load software for Zen Micro 6

I'm running on Windows 98 (I know, I know) and when I try to install the software from the CD, I get a few error messages saying certain .dll files cannot be copied. Then, at the end, when it stays at "loading drivers" forever. Doesn't freeze, because the program seems acti've, but it's taking FAR too long for this to be the normal protocol.

Hummm. Usually when you get errors during install it means either (a) there's a problem with your Windows install or (b) something is interfering with the install.
See if you can install in Safe Mode.

sorry. itunes and the ipod software is only compatible with Windows 2000 and XP.

Are you still using some sort of network usb dongle.
That kext is for some network device and it apparently wasn't written correctly. If you're not using it, uninstall the device software using the manufacturer's uninstall utility.
If you are using it, contact the manufacturer and see if they have an update that works correctly in Lion.

No. Office 2011 for Mac is coded to run with OS X. In order to work on the iPad the app must be coded for iOS instead.
If you look in the iTunes App Store, you will find that there are many apps that allow you to work with Office files on an iPad.

Here's a short tutorial video about how to move back and forth between your base computer and the on-the-go machine. Very important info about which things can be copied within Finder and which things MUST be copied from within FCP X. Best wishes.

Try booting in Safe Mode by holding your Shift key down when booting. Also, try holding the eject key down when booting to eject the DVD. If you plug a mouse in and hold the clicker down when booting, that should eject the DVD.
