Can't load SSL sites when connected to Verizon Hot Spot

So I'm testing out a Verizon iPhone for my company. Great experience so far; only one dropped phone call!
Recently, when connected to the internet via the phone's hot spot, I'm no longer able to load SSL websites. A good example of this is logging into gMail. Moreover, I can load the Facebook login page, however I cannot complete login and I can't verify any certificates (or force trust or anything). Moreover, my company/personal e-mail won't load either.
Once I try to force the certificate, I'm taken to a Verizon page about enabling the Hot Spot feature (which doesn't make sense, since I can browse other sites just fine and the feature is already being paid for by my company).
Has anyone else experienced this?
The issue persists on all devices (iPad, other iPhones, computer), I've reset network settings, changed my hot spot password, performed a hard reset; nothing seems to work.

I really think it's something with them, but have you tried tweaking the settings yet on the MBP? Like MTU & such?

Can't access some sites when using Aiport Express, why?

I'm using Windows 7 and my router is a wireless Apple Airport Express that is approximately two years old. Suddenly I can't access some sites (for example www.sthlm.friskissvettis.se, or www.vegetarian-shoes.co.uk, some streamed tv-shows on svtplay.se, and a number of other random sites) when connecting to internet with my router. It worked good until recently and I'm fairly sure this problem emerged when my ISP upgraded from 10/10mbit to 100/10mbit speed. Most other sites like facebook and google works fine.
When using my network cable to connect to internet everything works fine and I can access these sites.
Firmware is current and I've tried reseting the router to factory defaults.
Tried different browsers, and I can't ping the "blocked" sites either. Tracert www.sthlm.friskissvettis.se starts with 10.0.0.1 and continues through a number of long addresses until it says timeout. The last working address before timeout was sth-tcy-ipcore01-ge-0-2-0.neq.dgcsystems.net [83.241.252.13], if it matters. Tracert www.vegetarian-shoes.co.uk also eventually gives me a timeout.
When the network cable is plugged in, I still get timeout on tracert www.sthlm.friskissvettis.se even though I can access the site in Chrome. Weird. www.vegetarian-shoes.co.uk doesn't give me a tracert timeout when the cable is plugged in, and I can access the site as usual.
I've tried changing DNS servers to use opendns servers instead, but to no use.
I've tried pinging these two sites with a lower MTU packet size (with this method: http://www.richard-slater.co.uk/archives/2009/10/23/change-your-mtu-under-vista- or-windows-7/), but still can't access them through ping...
I don't know what to do anymore.... any suggestions???

first try to disable JavaScript from : Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Content panel > '''UNcheck''' Enable JavaScript.
if the above does not help check with a few malware/virus scan programs for virus. You need to use all programs because each detects different malware. Make sure to update each program to get the latest version before doing a scan.

Unfortuanatelly I have problems with deploying public destinations (page 9).
When I try to deploy the destination for the CRM back from the command console using neo command with relevant parameters and entering my password I get the following error:

Hi Beata,
The CRM scenario is working again. We had to re install the Connector and deploy a new proxy app.
Therefore you would need to download the code from the GitHub repository again. The changes you need to do on your side:
1. Redeploy the new crm__public destination file - the updated destination now points to the new location of the proxy application
2. Update the code of the registration form scripts (form.js and form.spec.xml).

Yes, you've missed the download step.
Open the Kindle app and navigate to your Library. There is a tab at the bottom that says Cloud | Device. Tap the Cloud tab and tap the books you want to download to the device. You will see a progress indicator during the download. Once it's done, read away!

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in Full Screen mode with all toolbars hidden.
* Press F11 to toggle full screen mode (Firefox/File > Full Screen)

Did you update to iOS 7? If yes you need to update iTunes on your computer to iTunes 11.1
If you are using iTunes 11.0 and iOS 6.x then show the left sidebar in iTunes.
When in iTunes on your computer use the View menu to View Sidebar. The device should show up there when connected.

How can i load a swf AND connect to a network location?

I'm working on a fairly large framework application that
consists of a large number of seperate files (swfs, stylesheets,
xml etc etc) all being loaded in and then connecting to a remote
server.
My problem is that when i compile all my library swfs with
-use-network=false all is well - until i try a
NetConnection.connect() call, when i get told i can't connect to an
internet url from a local-with-filesystem swf.
Ok, so i created a .cfg file and placed it in the
FlashPlayerTrust directory, indicating that i'm giving permission
for everything in my 'deploy' directory to be trusted - which
should allow it to do anything it like (load files AND connect to
the network). But after doing that i no longer get any sandbox but
my NetStatusEvent is never fired! I receive neither a success or
failure message from the NetConnection... it just sits there and
nothing happens...
Can anyone point me in the right direction, there seems to be
precious little information about situations like this, just a lot
of people asking similar questions...

like i said in the original post the framework is a series of
libraries, they're loaded at runtime depending on what's required.
if i have the netconnection in a single swf it'll work in the
standalone player or in IE or FF.... it'll work if i launch it
locally and connect to a remote server, or when i put it on the
server and access it through a browser.
it's when it goes into one of the libraries that it fails -
so a base swf loads a configuration file which tells it which
libraries it'll need, one of those libraries contains the
netconnection code - and the NetStatusEvent of the NetConnection is
never fired - so i neither succeed nor fail in my connection

Is it true on Mavericks the Calendar can no longer be synced when connecting directly?

Recently I noticed that since upgrading to Mavericks, my iPhone Calendar is no longer synced with my Computers Calendar. I found some hint on the support site that this is a "feature"? Is this true that the iPhone Calendar can no longer be synced when the iPhone is connected with my computer directly via USB or via WiFi?

I don't think the article states that as you describe it here. I think instead the article says that iTunes is no longer the sync agent for your calendar. iCloud is one of the possible alternate methods (and happens to be the one I use). But there are very likely other ways to perform the sync, such as Outlook, Google, etc. It all depends on the specific calendar account you use.

I have a Linksys EtherFast Cable/DSL router #BEFSR41 to which I have two computers, one printer, and one Linksys PAP2T-NA connected. I purchased a SPA2102-NA because I need two additional phone lines, but I had no more router ports. I was told that the SPA2102 could be connected to the router and my PAP2T could then connect to the LAN port of the SPA2102. Well I tried connecting the SPA2102 to my router and then connecting my PAP2T to it, but I am not able to access the configuration/setup menu for the SPA2102. How can I configure this SPA2102 when I can't even get to the setup menu?
Please help, I have spent the entire day searching the Linksys knowledgebase, etc. and I can't figure out what I need to do to access this unit. By the way, when I go into the router configuration menu and list the DHCP Active IP Table, the first item is SipuraSPA with an IP address of 192.168.1.100 (my PAP2T is 192.168.1.104). I have tried accessing the SPA2102 by typing 192.168.1.100 but I just get a browser error "Page not found". So the SPA2102 is showing up as connected to my router, but I have no way to connect to it because it has been given a dynamic IP address by the router. How can I solve this problem?

Thanks HW for your reply. After further consideration, I've decided that my best solution is to add an 8-port switch to increase my network capacity and therefore I can replace the SPA2102 with a simpler PAP2T, giving me two PAP2T's. I'm afraid I was looking at the SPA2102 as a stop-gap measure in providing an additional LAN port, but that would leave me without any spare LAN ports for the future. In the end, the small cost of an 8-port switch will give me future capacity and allow me to use the less costly PAP2T while gaining what I needed in the first place. Sorry for taking up your time.

Can't load message picture when forwarding

Sometimes when someone sends me an attachment such as a picture or video I can open it but then when I go to forward it on the forward page I see a ? and also something that looks like a lego block. This also happens when I sometimes get pictures. The pictures are all question marks.
How can I fwd an attachment open pictures without this happening?

if everything you say is true, you have a case-mismatch. eg, instead of my_picture.jpg, you have my_picture.JPG or My_picture.jpg etc on the server.

Can't connect to attwifi hot spots

After the iPhone 3.0 update, the phone appears to try to auto-connect to the attwifi hot spots when I run Safari, but it just displays a "Connecting" screen and the spinning clock(?) thing forever and ever. I tried the old Easy WiFi app, but as I'm not connected, it can't log me in because I'm nnot connected. Nice how that works, isn't it? Anyway, please help if you can. On your iPhone, go to Settings > General > Reset, and select Reset Network Settings.
This will erase all wi-fi network settings stored on your iPhone. This will require re-connecting to all wi-fi networks that you have access to along with re-entering the password for protected wi-fi networks.
