Can't locate my photo booth

I guess I accidently deleted my photo booth and would like to know how I can get it back.

It's not a bad idea because you might in the future use it but you don't have to. If you don't want to see the same update come up every time you run Software Update you can go to Update in the menu bar (when Software Update is running) and select "Ignore Update" and it will remove it from the list and you won't be bothered seeing it every time. If you want to see them again there's a button to restore ignored updates.
It's kind of a pain seeing them listed every time and knowing very well you're never going to update it.

You don't see it on the left-hand side of iTunes - you need to connect and select the iPad on the left-hand side, and then one of the tabs on the right-hand side that you use to select which content to sync to the iPad should be Photos : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4236
You will need to select and sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go as only the most recent sync remains on the iPad, not including photos in a subsequent sync is how you delete them from it.

i notice from your post you state you are using Windows XP - iCloud control panel is not compatible with XP so you will not have it installed
On my Win 7 pc it is located in the pictures library as a folder named Photo stream (as defined by my iCloud settings) this can be placed any where by using options in the control panel

You might want to check first:
Go to Finder, click Applications, and make sure photo booth in not there. If not, then find the OS X features (programs) disk that came with your mac. It will allow you to install it from there. If you have lost it, you can try to download and install it from here: http://www.mediafire.com/?fnz1mjjmjmz
I have not tested this, but it looks valid (the comments were positive).

Can't record (movie) Photo Booth Background scenarios

Here it goes, I open Photo Booth, select a background effect like paris or the waterfall, Photo Booth tells me to leave the screen area, I leave, come back, everything works fine. It's like I'm in the location I just picked. If I take a picture, it works too. But when I select to record a movie, the light on my Macbook's camera goes off for a second, and when it starts recording, the Paris backrgound disappears! It shows the real background behind me!
This started happening when upgraded to Lion. Actually, I only used it yesterday, and that was after (2 weeks) I updated to Lion 10.7.2, so maybe this update is somehow doing this.
I don't think the problem is my camera, because all the effects work. It just happens the moment it starts recording.

I found a little workaround, I open quicktime and select to record the screen. So I open Photo Booth and select the animated background I want. It works, because my problem is recording. The background effect works. I can take a picture with no problem. Oh, you have to also select (on quicktime) to record audio, it records through the built in mic. The only problem, is that the image seems darker when I select the animated beackground. With regular effects, like "the birds" the image is very bright and colorful.

Photo Booth "Can't restore window" (Photo Booth crashes) after Lion

The first time I opened Photo Booth after installing "Lion" a pop-up indicated I had to wait until the "files" were re-loaded. After that Photo Booth just crashes every time you try and say "restore window" or even if you say "don't restore window". In other words Photo Booth can no longer be used on my iMac. I will try and use the software on my MBA and see if it runs into the same issue. If anyone knows a fix please let me know.

From What I've found.. it seems 3ivx or Perian could cause this problem. A friend had this issue and deleted 3ivx and it fixed his crashes. Alternatively, some folks are reporting that turning off 32-bit mode (Get Info) for Photobooth has also fixed, although this was already turned off in my friend's case. Or if you have iGlasses installed.

Can I turn off photo booth's "flash"?

Anybody know? I have a lamp beside me and the lighting is much nicer without the FLASH. Can I turn it off?

If the Photo Booth flash is bothering you and the tips above have not helped enough, you can try the ultimate solution. Cover all or part of your display screen with some opaque material such as cardboard or heavy cloth.

Can I set up Photo Booth to send through gmail?

I don't use Mac Mail. I always use gmail in a web browser. Is there a way to setup Photo Booth so that when I press the e-mail button, it opens up gmail instead?

Photo Booth & Mail are Apple products. Reason why they are entwined. Gmail is a _*3rd party*_ browser based email program.

Can you help? photo booth effect not working properly.

The pop art effect is no longer working on my mom's G5. It only shows a pic in the upper left rahter than the four it used to show: upper left, upper right, lower left and lower right.

You don't mention which model of G5 your mother has.
However, you need to install a "fresh" copy of the Photo Booth application from the install DVD or a working copy from another machine.
Mine POP ART effect stopped working like you mentioned with only the one photo in the upper left. I deleted that copy of the Photo Booth application and installed a fresh one. Now all 4 or the photos are showing.

Applications can't locate music/photo files

My photo/music files live on external drive - La Cie. I am trying to create a photo page in JAlbum but unable to locate my photo directory. Similar problem finding music. Every time I open Itunes, there are songs that require locating file before playing.
Settings all point to La Cie but obviously I don't have something right.
Oh wise ones, where do I start?

I can not locate my photos on external hard drive to get them into iphoto

I backed my laptop up on an external hard drive, then installed snow leopard and to get my laptop to run faster I did a fresh install of OS X. Once I got everything done i put my stuff back on laptop and everything looks good except my photos. I have no photos, I am trying to figure out if somehow they never made it to the external hard drive or if I just can't find them on there to get them back on my laptop. I am not that great with computers and I am sure my terminology isn't exact but I am trying my best to figure this out. Thanks for any help

I believe I had leopard and I was having issues getting errors of system not being supported. I contacted Apple and was advised I needed to upgrade to snow leopard. My laptop is from 2009 and I haven't done anything to it till now. The apple rep also stated I should do a fresh install when putting snow leopard on so my laptop would run faster. Apple rep told me to get a external hard drive to put my info on it so the fresh install would reset everything to like it was brand new. I had someone help me with getting everything on the EHD.. doing the right format and such and then once that was done I put in the CD for snow leopard and hit install. Which brings me to now, with everything but my pictures. I have the EHD plugged in... now what? What do I do? I have looked in the EHD in iphoto and it was all standard images *not my pictures but images of a check mark or an arrow again not actual pictures. I don't see a folder pictures and i looked for images and found nothing. I have Applications, Included Free Designs, Library, System, User Guides and Information and Users, those are my options and non of those have a "pictures"

Can't locate my photos, apps and music on my wife's iTunes via home sharing

Hi. My wife and I share a macbook, with different user profiles. To date we've been using the one itunes, on my wife's profile, but it plays up a bit, gets us confused etc, so I've set up a new itunes on my profile and am trying to import my music, apps and photos from my wife's itunes via home sharing (using her apple id in both for home sharing purposes). But I can't seem to find her itunes library in my itunes library. Any ideas?

Does anybody know how I can get iTunes to find all of my songs it their new folder without me doing it one by one myself? Thanks

Where/how can I locate my photos?

I dropped my phone in water, and fixed it with the rice trick. However, I was forced to reset my phone, and lost my pictures. I thought I had them backed up through iCloud but can't find them. Is there any way to recover them?

If you have find my iphone app on your phone, you need to put in the apple ID associated with the lost iphone.
Log in @ icloud.com
you will see the device listed with a map, showing location of iphone if its still powered on and pings wifi or cell tower.

HT4890 i can't locate my photos in my icloud

there is no iphoto icon in my icloud and i can't seem to find my photos. the photo stream is enabled on my iphone and in the icloud preferences on my mac book pro, yet still it doesn't show up.

Photo Stream is only on Photos app on your iPod touch, iPad or iPhone, iPhoto or Aperture in a Mac, or a PC with iCloud Control Panel 2.0. Open iPhoto and choose Photo Stream in the sidebar

I can't access my Photo Booth application,

The only way for me to access my camera at all is if I go onto Skype- How do i get my PhotoBooth back? The MBP says its disabled or has never been installed- I don't have access to the given CD's given during purchase.

Thank you for trying to assist, but I got so frustrated I took my IPad to the Apple Store. The solution was so simple I felt so stupid. Now I know what to do if it happens again. All I needed to do was give permission. Thanks again.
