Can't log in to iCloud on the iPad

When I go to iCloud.com in Safari on the iPad, I don't get a login screen. I just get bounced back to Apple's instruction page on how to set up iCloud on the iPad. I've already set it up. It works OK on my computer. Is this a bug or do you not use icloud this way?

The answer above seems to work.
As far as I can tell, here is how the documents program in icloud works:
Install appropriate software on computer (PC or Mac)
Enable icloud in other devices (in my case, iPhone and iPad2)
Depending on the type of document you wish to upload to icloud, ensure that you have the appropriate Apple program on at least one of your devices (other than your computer).  In my case, I was not able to upload MSWord documents until I installed Pages on my iPad2.  Once I had installed Pages, I could upload word files to icloud.  After I upload the files, they appear on the documents window in Pages, and I can edit them.
Limitations:
It seems that PDF files are not supported in icloud, except that you can download a file to your computer from icloud in PDF format.  (I assume this is intended to allow you to take a "snapshot" of the document at a particular point in time.)
So far, I have only been able to create folders in icloud from Pages, using the iPad2.  When I try to do the same thing from my computer (PC), it will not allow me to create or manipulate folders.
I am hoping that PDF documents will be supported eventually.  I can get them to my iPad2 by emailing them, or through iTunes, but it would save a lot of time if I could simply access them from icloud.  I receive a lot of documents from others in PDF format, and it is helpful to be able to review them either on my computer or on my iPad, without having to send them back and forth.  As well, it would be nice to be able to annotate them in one place using multiple devices.

  • How can I log out of iCloud on my iPad Air?

I recently updated my Apple ID.  I was able to get that new ID to work with iTunes, on my iPhone 5, and with iCloud on my computer and on the web.
But my iPad Air is stuck on the old Apple ID and it will not let me change it.
I have synced the iPad Air with iTunes using the USB cable (even though the cable isn't necessary) and it syncs fine - but iTunes on my computer has the new Apple ID and the iPad Air still has the old one!  (So technically, it shouldn't sync or it should copy the new ID info over onto the iPad Air, right?)
When I go to iCloud on the iPad under Settings and click on Account, it pops up with the old Apple ID, but it is greyed out.  It will not accept the password.  It will not allow me to log out.  It will not allow me to change the Apple ID.  Is it pulling this from some other area?  iTunes on the iPad shows the correct Apple ID.
Can someone please tell me how I can fix this?
    Thanks!!

It won't let me.  And I have now discovered that this is also an issue on my iPhone.  I thought the phone was okay last night, but it's not.  I now cannot get to anything on the phone.
I haven't had time yet to try your second suggestion, but I will try it.  I don't use FaceTime, never have, so I don't know if that will work.  I do know that nothing is working with iCloud.
Okay, I was able to at least get back to my main screen on my phone.  I will try the second suggestion when I get to the office.

  • How can I log in to icloud on the web from my iPad?

I've set up icloud on my MacBook Pro as well as on my iPad but I can't log into icloud on the web whereas it works fine from my MacBook. All I get on the iPad is three menu items which I've already done. What's wrong?

You can't use mobile Safari on a device to log into icloud.com.  To get to your data, you must use the associated apps.  For contacts, use the Contacts app.  Only with a computer's browser can you log into icloud.com.

  • I need to change my iCloud email address.  I changed it for my Apple id but I can't log out of iCloud to change it there.  Find my iPad is activated so I can't delete my iCloud account.  I don't have the email address the iCloud login has anymore.

I need to change my iCloud email address.  I changed it for my Apple id but I can't log out of iCloud to change it there.  Find my iPad is activated so I can't delete my iCloud account.  I don't have the email address the iCloud login has anymore so I can't have the password sent there.  To sum it up, iCloud has an old email for the account log-in.  I don't remember the password for the old email.  I have Find My iPad activated so the iCloud account cannot be deleted.  And I am already logged out of iTunes & App Store.

If you mean that Find My Phone is asking for a password to a different Apple ID to your current Apple IDand that ID is a previous version of your current ID, not an entirely different one.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details and some other circumstances.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone" and delete the account from your device. It may take a short while to remove the account.
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, save it once again and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

I just bought this ipad and cannot log out from icloud because i dont have the password.how can i log out from icloud?need help

You need to return it to the seller and get your money back.  You cannot reset or use the device with another AppleID installed unless you know the password for that ID.
If the device has been jailbroken, no one on here can give you any further help...the Terms of Use prohibit us from doing so.

  • Hi ! I got an iPhone 5 from someone who I don't know the real owner. Then I wanna change iCloud on it, but I don't know the password of owner. How can I log out that iCloud account without password ? Please help me, thank you

Thank you, please help me !

How can I log out that iCloud account without password ?
    You can't.
Return the phone to whoever you bought it from and get a refund. Without the previous owners password you will not be able to enter your own iCloud acount, and when you update the phone, you won't be able to re-activate it as it will be locked to the previous owners account.
You should've checked the phone was not locked to someone else's iCloud account BEFORE buying it.

    HELP !!!!!! Please

If you know the password to your apple id login - you can then do a restoration once you have put your device into recovery mode using itunes.
read this article to give you direction how to put your device into recovery mode.
Once you have put in your apple id login and password this then will allow you to restore the device once the device is placed in recovery mode.
    good luck!

  • I can't log into my iCloud keychain due to the fact I lost my password?

I Can't log into my iCloud keychain account due to lost password? Every time I want to change it will change my Apple ID password. I put my password for my Apple ID in for iCloud keychain and it won't work? Any help would be great

    Hi
    https://appleid.apple.com/
    and
    https://www.icloud.com
    are two different accounts
Therefore you should still use your "old" (existing) iCloud mail address - you cannot change the iCloud mail address.
However you could add an alias instead to you iCloud account.

  • Itunes has sent a lot of my music into iCloud. I have not asked for this. I can't log on to icloud, since I only have an ipod. How do I get my music back? It seems to have disappeared from my computer.

itunes has sent a lot of my music into iCloud. I have not asked for this. I can't log on to icloud, since I only have an ipod. How do I get my music back? It seems to have disappeared from my computer.

I have read the the advice you gave, and I had already tried that. It did not help.
When I tried to download an album with nine songs, (I have paid for the complete album), two songs were missing. One of them has showed up/disappeared a couple of times, but with a cloud/arrow-symbol next to it, what I thought to be a symbol for downloading from the cloud. When I click it, it starts a downloading process, and then I am told it cannot be done, "please try again later".  The other song is nowhere to be seen.  The song with the cloud/arrow-symbol, I bought 3 times, once with the album, twice just the song. That didn't change matters. iTunes tells me I have downoladed all songs I have purchased.
I do not really understand why you do not understand what I am writing, I only describe what happens when I use iTunes.
If a person want to use iCloud, one needs an iPhone, iPad or an iPod Touch. That information is not given until you have downloaded and installed the iCloud program. That is why I have it on my computer, but cannot use it. To set up an iClod account, you have to connect one of the above mentioned devices. I don't have one, so I cannot do it.
If you want the (13013) problem explained, I suggest you google it. I am not the only one to have that problem.
I am thankful that you spend time on trying to help me, but I cannot explain things clearer than this.

  • How can I log into my ICloud Mail in Safari on my daughter's iPad?

I can't seem to be able to use Safari to check my iCloud email on my daughter's iPad.  When I type in www.icloud.com, I don't get an option to log in, I only get a message of how to set up iCloud on the iPad. Why can't I just get to the login screen?

iCloud.com cannot be accessed in a mobile browser. You have to identify the browser as a desktop version. You can do this in Safari by tapping in the url field and then pull down from the top of the favorites window to access Request Desktop Site.
Tap that to select the desktop version and then try again. It can be a little tricky to do this in Safari because of the way that you have to select the option for a desktop version, but it can be done. It is much easier in a browser like iCab Mobile, Mercury or Atomic.

My iCloud is disabled. I've reset my password numerous times, but that doesn't help. Can someone please tell me how can I log onto my iCloud

If your ID is disabled, you'll have to contact Apple for assistance, either by going to https://expresslane.apple.com, then click More Produces & Services>Apple ID>iTunes Store, App Store or Mac App Store>Disabled Apple ID, or by contacting the Apple account security team: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699.

  • I changed my apple ID email address - can't log out of iCloud

I changed my apple ID email address some time ago - I'm trying to log out of iCloud on my iPad but as 'find my mac' is enabled it wants the password in order to sign out, but the email address is the old one (greyed out); it says password or ID incorrect - yes the ID is incorrect, but can't be changed!
And BTW in my iCloud account under the new addres, no devices have 'find my mac' enabled

I have accidentally deleted my alternate iCloud (email) address. Are there any possibilities to retrieve it back because my iPad is connected to that email address, and now, I can't log out from it on my iPad, because it doesn't exist.
I have alternate icloud email attached to my iPad and I accidentally delete it from appleid.apple.com. And now I can't log out that iCloud account because it doesn't exist and it can't recognize my password.
