Can't log into Gmail using Mac Mail client

Wow, after upgrading Lion for iCloud and upgrading my iPad2 for IOS5, I can no longer get Gmail on either one using Mac Mail as the client. I get a little triangular caution symbol next to the Gmail account in Mac Mail. I tried deleting the account and recreating it, and when the account setup wizard tries to connect, I get the following:
"Logging in to the Google IMAP server "imap.gmail.com" failed. Make sure the username and password you entered are correct then click Continue. If the information isn't correct, you cannot receive messages"
This doesn't make any sense, since the account has always worked in the past. Simultaneous to that, I have started having the same problem on the iPad, which never had trouble logging in before either.
Anybody else encountering this?

To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.

Receive email delay one hour using Mac Mail client (Mountain Lion) connect Exchange Server 2010

Hi all,
My boss use iPhone, iPad, MacBook Air (Mac Mail client), MacPro (Mac Mail client) connect Exchange Serve 2010 to receive emails. All clients are okay except MacBook Air, the Mac Mail client cannot receive the latest emails from Exchange Server, but it can receive (sync) the emails after one hour. The other clients can receive the latest email after Exchange Server receive new emails immediately.
In this period, the MacBook Air can receive the other IMAP, POP3 and webmail from ISP normally. I tried to set 5 mins to check emails or manual check email from Exchange Server. However, the latest email still delay one hour.......... .
I dumped a screenshot for Mac Mail setting for Exchange Server and a Log file.
could anyone help me to solve this issue?

I am not sure what the user has the check for new messages set for but mail does arrive as short as 2 minutes. It does however arrive on his iphone immediately first.

I can't log into iCloud using system preferences using Apple Id

Hello comunity: I describe the problem as follows (sorry for my english, not a native speaker):
Background: Macbook air OS X 10.9 Mavericks (just updated), but changed my Apple ID just after that.
-When I try to log into Icloud through System Preferences, and write my Apple ID and password, it says "the login keychain is not found" and then it tells me that the server is down and can´t connect. (I have verified my Apple ID and password and can login through the website with no problem, and I have verified that the Icloud server is fine).
-It won´t let me go any further than that, It means I cant use Icloud in my Mac. I can access to Icloud online, but when online I don´t see my mac but I can see my Iphone and Ipad 2.
-I have read many (a lot really) about keychains and similar problems and cant find the solution.
I would appreciate your help!
PD: Other information that might be related: When entering to First Aid Keychain, I provide my password and when I hit "repair" it will tell me "...library/keychains/login.keychain is not a valid keychain file and that repair stopped unexpectedly"

I think that is likely why you're having the problems with signing in. My keychain has been added to over many years. It has email addresses from 1997. I don't know how to clean that up. It would be nice if Apple redesigned Keychain Access to be something that actually allowed you to envisage their network. That's what bothered me about iCloud Keychain. There are so many places to change settings, type a password, and think about what that setting means. Knowledgable people who can manage a network from the Terminal, good for you. I want to launch software that finds all servers, and paints a good connection green and trouble yellow, etc. Hover your mouse over a red drive, it tells you the password needs. I think this is good enough implementation, except it is difficult for people who've never had a cryptography class to get a good idea of what their network topography is. Tell me, can you log on to iCloud.com on Safari?
I'll hang around here to see if somebody else gives a suggestion. Sorry I can't do more.

How to log into gmail with default Mail app

So my gmail has a 2 step verification option to have it more secure, but the default mail app on my iphone 5S does not give me the option to give a second verification so I can't log in.
They continuously say my password is incorrect because of this...
Any way to fix this please?

After more googline I actually found the solution, I'll post it here in case anyone else has the same problem I had:
You have to go to the double verification setup in browser https://accounts.google.com/b/0/SmsAuthSettings and generate an app specific password, this is the only way it'll work.

I can't log into Facebook using my iPad

Y can't I log into Facebook. Got new iPad and did the ISO7 update, now it won't work. Have reset it, deleted fb but still nothing

If cant log into Facebook, you will just have to go on to safari and do Facebook on there but also you could try deleting again, restarting your iPad and get the app again.

When I log into gmail, click compose mail, I used to be able to click on the "TO" field and my contacts would come up; now all of a sudden they do not...can you help?

I used to be able to click on "compose email"; the screen would come up and then I could click on "TO" and my contacts would come up. Now I can only get my contacts by clicking on the "contacts" It was so convenient to click "TO" Can someone please help?

Cannot log onto gmail using the mail feature for ipad mini, ipad or iphone.

This started happening yesterday. It affected my Iphone ipad mini and Ipad at the same time. I thought someone hacked my account so I changed my passwords, confirmed my setting but still Mail says the settings are wrong. Is anyone else experienceing this problem?

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

Can't log into CC after Mac 10.7.1 update

This only seems to be happening on my tower after the update yesterday. Laptop seems to be working fine.
The Creative Cloud desktop app just shows a blank white rectangle. I've tried reinstalling to no avail.
When I try to open any CC app (e.g. Photoshop CC), it says I need to log in. When I try I get an error message like the follwing (differnt error codes each time I try).

Attached are screen shots of by CC Desktop app and the error message I get after trying to authenticate when opening any CC app (Photoshop in this case).
Also, I was being dumb...I'm running the very latest versions of OS X (was loking at the listings for "MacOS X Updates" in stead of further down the installation list at "OS X Udates). The update last week was the "OS X v10.8.5 Supplemental Update" that I installed on 10/10. As I think I mentioned...I updated on my laptop as well and can still access my CC apps there...I'm not sure I've logged out of CC and back in since the whole password thing though.

There is a latest firmware update available for this Digital Photo Frame to resolve this issue. Detailed instructions regarding this update are mentioned on below link:

If the issue persists, try the below mentioned troubleshooting instructions:
1. Check if the access point of the wireless LAN is turned on.
2. Move this photo frame to another position or bring it closer to the access point. Communication distance may be made shorter by surroundings such as an obstacle between the photo frame and the access point of the wireless LAN, signal conditions, or materials of a wall.
3. Check if it requires a Password (WEP/WPA) or other specified setting (fixed IP address, for example) in order to connect to the access point. It is set in the access point to hide SSID. In this case, it may not be displayed on the network list.
4. Ask the administrator about SSID of the access point and set it manually. Or cancel the setting registered for the access point.
When using a public wireless LAN, you may not be able to use the network without entering a log-in ID or Password. Check the service content of the connected wireless network.
5. Some equipment that uses a frequency band of around 2.4 GHz, such as a microwave oven or Bluetooth device, may be in use near the photo frame. Move the photo frame away from such equipment or turn that equipment off.

Today, Messages began to give the error "The registering device does not have the appropriate credentials." The error only began today. I use the same Apple ID on my Mac, iPhone, and iPad. Apple ID and password have been verified on all devices and at iCloud.com.

Can't log into cyrus to repair mail

I tried to "su cyrus" both as root and under admin acct. and am having a no success. As root user, i will type su cyrus and then terminal just goes to the normal prompt, no confirmation or change or anything. Under admin it will ask me for a PW; I will type the admin PW and it says su:Sorry. What am I doing wrong? I am trying to repair a corrupted database for 2 users and I am stuck. Help.

I installed oracle, but I did not go through the underlined step. I am not sure if I skipped or it was not there during the installation

After installing Oracle 10g SCOTT user will be in locked, you should unlock it.
Login as sysdba using the below command
sqlplus sys as sysdba
password:<ur password>
after connecting as sysdba use the below command to unlock the SCOTT user
ALTER USER SCOTT ACCOUNT UNLOCK;
Now connect as scott you will bw able to connect.
