Can't log on to photoshop site.

I just purchased Elements 11 and downloaded it.  After verifying my email, I attempted to log in to Photoshop; however, received the message "it's no longer possible to create a Photoshop.com account."  Any help greatly appreciated, I just want to use this product.

Hi Beth.
I'll to clarify some terminology that might help here also. Photoshop is our professional photo editing software, Photoshop Elements is our consumer photo editing software, and Photoshop.com is the place where we used to offer sharing and storage of your photos. All have the word Photoshop in them and can be confusing.  Photoshop.com's sharing and storage is being migrated to Revel. Old users are given the option to migrate their jpg photos manually or automatically to Revel. New users can just create an account using their Adobe ID (or facebook or google) and begin using Revel with our without Photoshop Elements 11. Photoshop Elements 11 does interface directly with Revel for uploading and downloading files so you can keep the files in both places easily.
If you are new and using Elements 11, then you do not need to worry about Photoshop.com. I assume you don't have any files there from Elements 10 or from downloading them.  You can login to adoberevel.com or download the app on an iphone , mac, or ipad and login with your adobe id.  Then you can interface there from Elements 11.

  • Can't log in to Mac site and store

I am so frustrated and also angry. Every time I go to the Mac or Apple website it says my password is wrong. So -- every single time -- I have to hit 'forgot password' and then get email and then make up password and then get on the site. Then, if I try to go back to Mac site the next time, the password does not work.... even if I go back 5 minutes later.... or next day. So I always have to make up new password and I get to visit the site -- once. And here I am trying to buy something and spend lots of money and Mac makes it nearly impossible to access its site... or Mac Store. So, after I post this message and log out I will not be able to access the site again unless and until I go thru those pain-in-the-butt steps.

I don't know honestly if I have cookies on. But I can say that I go to lots of sites -- daily -- where I need a password and it's never an issue. This includes online stores, forums, my bank, etc.... I just type in password and I'm there. But with Mac, no-go. I have to start anew and make up new password every single time.

  • Can't log in to many sites after installing 11.9

After installing 11.9, log in pages at various sites (thru Firefox 25) never go anywhere after submitting info, either get neverending loading circle or a reloaded blank log in page. In Safari (5.1), some sites will let me log in, some don't. It's very buggy when I do get 'in' a site; I usually have to click on a bookmark of website's home page for it to show I'm logged in (reloading sign in page doesn't do it). Using Mac, 10.7

Here's the thing. This is a screenshot from a login page:

There's NOTHING Flash in ANY of that. It uses HTML and PHP. Nearly every login page in existence uses similar code unless... the entire page is built into a Flash container.

  • Can't log into a secure site with Firefox but I can with IE.

New computer acquired in August with Windows 7. I could access this site on my old machine under Windows XP and Firefox. I can access this site under IE on my new computer after I lowered the security threshold setting. I can find no such option for Firefox. I have tried clearing cookies, history, cache.

Solved for now. Went to Tools > Options > Advanced > Encryption. Unchecked "Use TLS 1.0" I am now able to access my bank site.

  • Can't log into web sites on iPhone 4s.

I recently upgraded from an iPhone 3Gs to an iPhone 4s running iOS 5.0.1.  I've recently noticed that on the iPhone, I can't log onto any web site that requires my ID and password.  Basically the information is not recognized by the web site.  I had no problem logging onto these same sites on the old 3Gs. I've checked that the IDs and passwords are being entered correctly.
If I use my iPad of my MacBook Pro, I can log onto theses same web sites without a problem.  I've tried resetting the iPhone but that has not fixed the problem.
The log in problem only happens on the iPhone.
Web sites that don't require an ID and password seem to be working fine on the iPhone.
Has anyone else run across this issue?  Any ideas how to correct it?
    Regards,
    David

Many web sites requiring username/password use cookies during authentication.  Be sure Settings | Safari | Accept Cookies is set to something other than Never.  I recommend From visited.  I think iOS 5 defaults this setting to Never, a difference from prior iOS versions.

  • Connected to network but can't log on

My iBook G4 works great on my home wireless network, but not at my workplace. It connects to the network, has a strong signal, the WEP password is correct, but I can't log on to any sites or do eMail. Any suggestions? Anyone? I'm not exactly a Mac novice, but I've tried everything I know in preferences and Airport settings, with no luck.

I believe you have DHCP addressing turned on on your network settings. Does your mac aquire a normal LAN IP, or does the IP begin with "169"?
In either case, looks like your workplace's wireless router doesn't have DHCP server turned on, or it doesn't allow WAN connections to machines with non-registered MAC addresses. You should check with your workplace's network administrator, or examine the router's settings, if you have administrator access to it.

  • Logging In to EE Site.

I can't log into the EE site at all, no matter what computer, I/Pad or I/Phone I try to log in with?
Has anyone else had the same problem?

    Hi ,
Do you get any error message?
Have you been able to use this in the past?
    Thanks.

  • I can't log onto my iGoogle page or gmail accounts in firefox 3.6.12. I've tried all their suggestions - cookies already enabled, clearing caches and adding to safe list. Tried for 2 days now. Any ideas?

Up until a few days ago, I've been using IE but wanted to switch to Firefox for my default browser. Since then, I can't log in to my Google accounts on Firefox. Its still working (from the same laptop) on IE, however.

Can you log in to that site while in [[Private Browsing]] ?
If that works then you may have a problem with the current cookies or the disk cache, both are not use while you are in PB mode.
    * "Clear the Cache": Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
    * "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
If clearing the cookies doesn't help then it is possible that the file <i>cookies.sqlite</i> that stores the cookies is corrupted.<br />
Rename (or delete) <b>cookies.sqlite</b (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete <b>cookies.sqlite-journal</b> and <b>cookies.txt</b>, if they exist, in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Profile Folder] in case cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

  • How do you stop mobile sites from loading in safari automatically on my iPad? I can't log into mobile me because of this.

How do you stop mobile sites from loading in safari automatically on my iPad? I can't log into mobile me because of this.

The me.com website is not designed for or intended to be accessed by iOS devices. Apple provides support in iOS or seperate Apps for accessing all aspects of MobileMe except for the Accounts section.
Use MobielMe as intended and you'll have no problems.
    See: http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1673
Even if you use a different browser to get access to me.com on iOS, you'll find most of it is unusable.
Other websites that present you with the mobile version have been programmed to do so by their developers. They specifically look for users accessing from 'mobile' devices and switch to the mobile site. Many such sites provide a link to go back to the 'full' site, if not, there's not a lot you can do except use a browser that can pretend not to be a mobile browser.

  • Can't access a school web site that I've used for years-can't log in with user and password. All other bookmarks are fine-tried several things including re-install-Other browsers are O.K.

I have an iMac-have used Firefox exclusively for years. I can't access a school web site-can't get past the log in with user ID and password. Screen stays at log in screen. Tried clearing history-tried uninstall and re-install. All other web sites/bookmarks work fine. Thanks in advance.

Try clearing the cache and deleting cookies for the site, this can sometimes resolve problems accessing sites that used to work. See [[how to clear the cache]] and [[deleting cookies]] for details.

  • Why can I no longer log in to a site I have logged into 340 times before? Now I can only log in using Private Browse Window.

On my Window 7 Pro 32-bit system a website that I have logged in to over 340 times (according to my settings info) no longer allows me to log in unless I open a Private Browsing Session Window. When I use a Private Browsing Session I can log in right away & I have no problems.
I can log in to that site using my XP system with the same version of Firefox 27.1 without doing anything special. Does anyone have any ideas what I might check or do to resolve this? I realize it's not the end of the world since I figured out that this site works with a Private Browsing Session, but it IS an extra hassle. The system that's having this problem is my wife's computer, so that makes it extra important for this to be resolved.
Thank you in advance for any help I can get with this.'''bold text'''

Thank you both for your quick responses. I am now able to log in correctly. I did Ctl+Shift+r to reload the page from the server & deleted all of the cookies for that page. Now I am able to log in as before. I no longer have to open a Private Browsing Session Window.
My first thought yesterday when I was trying to fix this problem on my own, was to delete the cookies. Then I thought that if the cookies WERE corrupt I would not be able to log in even with a Private Browsing Session. I see now that I probably should have at least tried my idea.
I REALLY appreciate the help with this. My problem is fixed & I'm good to go!! THANK YOU!

  • Why can I log into some sites or view them correctly in Safari

I have tried a few times to view the weather web site for one of my local stations, KOMO news. I can view this easily on my desktop computer, but a different version of the web page/site comes up on my IPod that does not have the same info, and there is no way of getting to the info I want to view (the 7-day forecast). What is this? And is there a way I can override what I'm seeing to view the web page I want to see?
Also, last night I tried logging into a few sites -- my web mail and utility bill pay -- with username and password, and instead of logging me in, the pages would keep "reverting" back to blank fields that I'd try again, and again (not even showing an error message, which is usually what I get if I enter wrong info.). It never worked, though it did work this morning from my desktop computer. Why won't Safari/Ipod let me log onto these sites?
    Regards, David

    Thanks for the advice everyone.
Working through them without much luck...
    New user didn't help.
    Have turned off MacScan.
    No improvement as yet.
P.S. Not sure how MacScan and Virus Barrier X would interact as they seem to do different things... I got both of these as apps in bundles so didnt really specifically buy them.
I can't see any proxy setting in network preferences so will need to go into virus barrier and check.
Reading the "recommended text" on Virus's for homework.
Tomorrow it will be Appzapper for them both if the patient shows no sign of improvement.
