Can't login/authorize/use iTunes -1020

I can't seem to get the store to work either. It keeps throwing an unexpected 1020 error on one, and the other computer it won't let me authorize content or get in to the store saying my account info is bad. These machines were authorized, there aren't too many authorized.
I'm late to get out the door for a road trip, please help. I just need to authorize some songs on my other computer so they will sync to the new iPod.

Several websites are reporting this 1020 error. Theri advice is to wait until Apple fixes it on their side.

Make sure you have logged out of the iTunes Store then try logging in to the App Store.
And try deleting the cache associated with the App Store.
Quit the App Store if it's open.
Go to ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore/Cache.db
Move the Cache.db file from the com.apple.appstore folder to the Trash.
Relaunch the App Store. Click Account right side of the App Store window and see if you can login.

iTunes needs an internet connection to download the update if it has not already. Then it needs to verify the update with Apple servers prior to installation.
So in short, no, you do need at least some form of internet access to update.

If the device is indicating to connect to iTunes, then it is in recovery mode. You will need the computer and iTunes to recover it. You can fix the iTunes to not sync to your device, but just let it recover the phone. I hope you would have a backup of your data in iCloud, since it is no longer available to you on the phone.

Can't login ADFS using IE

I created ADFS v2 on one of windows 2008 R2 serves. The AD Sync works fine. However, I can't login the ADSF server using adfssvr.mydomain.com/adfs/ls/idpinitiatedsignon.aspx even we have correct internal DNS settings.
Troubleshooting steps:
1. I read this article "A federated user is repeatedly prompted for credentials during sign-in to Office 365, Azure, or Windows Intune". If I modify the web.config, I can login. But none of resolutions fixes the probelm.
2. If I use Firefox broswer, I can login. Only IE doesn't work.
3. I have tried different IE version, differen computers, using compatibility view and adding the website to IE security site.
What could be hte probelm?

Can't Purchase Unless Using iTunes v6.0??

I just discovered I can no longer make an ITMS purchase unless I use "...at least iTunes version 6.0..." When (and why) did this absurd restriction get imposed? I'm especially upset because now the only version I apparently can get is 6.0.2, about which bug and spyware reports seem to abound. So I'm stuck without ability to purchase unless I want to be something like a beta tester of the latest version??

The first time you use iTunes 6.x for accessing iTMS / upgrade to it there is a warning that prior versions of iTunes won't work anymore - as the kind of DRM has been changed.
The only workaround I'm aware of is creating a new iTMS ID using a prior release.

Can't download ios7 using iTunes

Hi guys in trying to update my ipad mini to ios7 and I have to use iTunes as I have really hardly enough room to store OTA files but iTunes simply won't download ios7 I updated to the latest version as it said but I had to pause the download because my Internet speed really cut down so I had to pause it but then it restarted and is only doing 5mb every 40 minutes now and then it just complety stopped and I whenever I try and download again it just stops completly and nothing happens at all so currently it looks like I can't update at all unless I go to the apple store - is there any fox for iTunes or shall I have to take a drive tomorrow haha

Can't update apps using itunes 11.03

I updated to itunes 11.03.
They changed how you update apps. Instead of clicking the app button on left and getting updates, there is a tab; but, when you hit update the update apps just sit there and won't go away.
Anyone else have this problem.

I have the same problem with my iOS devices. When I sync to remove or update apps it get stuck on step 3 determining apps to sync and then nothing happens.
Before updating itunes, it was working fine.
I am now using iTunes 11.0.4.4 on a Windows XP Pro Version 2002 Service Pack 2.
Please help and make the necessary actions.

Someone told me that there is a loophole in the iTunes Store ...
People living in countries where iTunes Store is not available (i.e. the entire Asia except Japan) can go on line to purchase Gift Certificates and then purchase music on iTunes Store.
Two questions: first can I use my credit card (the billing address is NOT amongst those listed in the iTunes Stores) to purchase the certificates. Second, if I receive the certificates electronically (say given to me from a friend in Australia where iTunes Store exists), can I (living in a country with no iTunes Store) use those certificates to purchase music?

No Gift certificates, like credit cards, are regionally enforces. You would still have to have a billing address in the country where the card was purchased in.
