Can't login due to input source issue

Hi!
I'm using my MBP (Yosemite) with a hungarian input source, however, my login password was in english.
Yesterday, I've changed it. Now, it contains hungarian characters.
I was able to use that password for logging in as long as the Mac just went to sleep.
This morning, however, I rebooted my MBP and now I'm unable to login.
It seems like the default input source is english, while in my profile, it is hungarian.
I've never had that problem before. And I'd really need my mac back, so that I could work.
Does anyone have any solution in mind?

At the login screen, you can select one of the available layouts by choosing from the flag menu in the upper right corner, or cycle through them by pressing the key combination command-space or command-option-space. See this support article.

Try these suggestions in this order.
Check Settings>General>Date & Time>Set Automatically>On. Make sure that the time zone setting is also set correctly.
If that didn't solve the problem, restart your iPad and try again. If that fails, reset your iPad and try again.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Can't login due to server error

Trying to login and continually receive above msg.

You might try doing the following:

I have iCloud on my iPhone but can't login on PC because of server error.

Not sure what I could be doing wrong but I just installed the software on my machine and restarted computer and can't login due to server error. I click on check status and everything appears to be green on the site.
What am I doing wrong? Other than not being able to convince my work to use Android devices.

Unable to unlock computer due to impossibility to switch between input sources

I cannot unlock my computer after wake up under the following circumstances.
- In System Preferences - Language and Text - Input Sources, I have the following input sources:
- US
- Bulgarian
- In System Preferences - Language and Text - Input Sources, I've chosen the "Allow a different one for each document" option
- My shortcut for "select previous input source" is Cmd-Space
- In System Preferences - Security and Privacy - General, I've chosen "Require password 5 seconds after sleep or screen saver begins"
- My password for login is using US layout characters only
- In System Preferences - Desktop & Screen Saver - Hot Corners, I've chosen "Put Display to Sleep" on the lower right corner, others are empty.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open Safari and switch to Bulgarian keyboard layout with Cmd-Space
2. Use the trackpad to direct cursor in the lower right corner in order to activate screen sleep
3. Wait 5 seconds for the lock to be engaged
4. Wake up the computer with the trackpad or keyboard and enter your password to unlcok the computer
Result: The password dialog is shaking, suggesting the password is wrong. If I try to change the input source by pressing Cmd-Space, there is a sound heard from the OS X suggesting I am pressing a shortcut which isn't allowed. There's no visual menu to switch between keyboard layouts. I am most probably stuck with the last keyboard layout used on the last open application which is Bulgarian and since my password is in US, I cannot unlock the computer. I need to reset my computer by holding down the power button in order to be able to log in again.
This is the first time I felt my Mac is letting me down. To be honest, I can't understand how such a critical bug has managed to go unnoticed by the quality assurance team at Apple.

Two input sources installed.
Both are lattin based. No Cyryllic, nor far East, nor Judish, nor Arabic,....
Simply two lattin based input sources - keyboards.
Even under lattin keyboards there are different key layouts.
I know one possible difference: qwerty and qwertz.
Possibly there are more other layouts than these two.
Lets assume these two input sources, layouts: 1 and 2.
For certain user account the password was set while layout 1 was selected.
Then the user edits some texts, he selects for this keyboard layout/input source 2.
User makes Sleep OS X, or logs off.
Layout 2 keeps to be active.
User wants to unlock the mac.
It is not possible because password is konform with layout 1,
at the time of unlocking however layout 2 is selected.
It is not possible to select the another layout - user can not unlock os x.

After updating office365's password, can't login outlook, always let you input password again and again

This is a real issue in working. User uses win7 and Outlook2007.
The issue is that after updating office365's password, users can't login outlook, always let you input password again and again. Sometimes, we can fix the issue by deleting current outlook profile then create a new one. But sometimes the method can't work.
What is the root reason?

Hi Franklin,
Firstly, please make sure you can access the mailbox with the new Password in OWA. Then check your Account settings in Outlook 2007:
Click Tools > Account Settings. In the E-mail tab, double click the Exchange account. Click More Settings > Security > Select Negotiate Authentication > OK.
Please try to clean up the cached credential in your computer. Then fill in with the format of UPN when it prompted for credentials next time and check the Remember my credential to save it. About how to remove cached credentials, please follow these steps:
1. Launch the Credential Manager from Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Credential Manager.
2. In the Generic Credentials section you’ll see a setting for [MS Outlook] which will include your SSO details. Click the downward-pointing arrow to the right of that value.
3. In the expand details, click Remove from vault. Then Outlook will no longer have a stored copy of your password.

Login screen input sources

Whenever I log out of OS X it changes my input source from Colemak to back to English and removes Colemak from the login input sources menu.
This is infuriating and as prematurely balding man I have little hair left as it but this is driving me made.
This didn't previously happen under earlier versions of OS X.
Can anyone suggest a solution to force the default layout to Colemak for the login screen and help save what's left of my barnet?

Hi, we have two accounts on the Mac at home and my account worked well with the new Mac App Store. The other account met the "Login Screen Not Accepting Input." problem.
Both accounts have administrator rights.
I followed your advice about the
com.apple.storeagent.plist
com.apple.appstore.plist
trashed the babies, rebooted the stuff and…
It did not arrange anything on the account which already did not work.
and… the worst part of the cake :
It somewhat scr*wed-up my own account… I cannot even log on the Mac App Store, saying :
+"Unable to find and connect to the agent.+
+Is it running?"+
I checked : both have been recreated on the Prefs folder (and the cookie's for the com.apple.appstore.plist
This one does not seem to resolve any problem in that case. :!

Input source in Login Window - how to change?

Hello,
I have a Belgian keyboard and I need my default input source to be Belgian.
Problem with Login Window : since I installed Mavericks the default input source in the Login Window is always "U.S." In the upper right corner of that screen I can change it to Belgian but how do I change it * permanently * to Belgian ?

I am convinced that by entering the right values in
Macintosh HD>Library>Preferences>com.apple.HIToolbox.plist
you can turn around the problem.
But this is a bug. So instead of starting tinkering with that plist I'm waiting for these guys in Cupertino to come up with an official fix in the upcoming release 10.9.1 (some time November, I am told) or 10.9.2 (some time before year-end, as the rumor has it).

It's something to do with the main user account (not iTunes account) on my Mac because I logged in with another account and it downloaded fine, I installed it on the HDD and even though the date in App Store was 16th October 2014, it is the full installer of 10.10.2.
To try to resolve this problem, I have copied the installer app elsewhere and deleted it but App Store still will not allow me to download it with my main user account yet just allowed me to update iTunes.
I had a brainwave last night that it might have been related to me changing the default downloads folder to one not on my boot drive (to save disk space on my main boot drive) but having changed it back, tried again, rebooted and tried yet again, deleted my App Store preferences. nothing has worked.

1. Don't confuse "Apple ID" with iTunes Account ID. You can have many Apple IDs but only one iTunes account active at a time.
2. If you "changed" your iTunes account ID, you actually have 2 accounts - one under the old name plus the new name.
3. You can't merge the accounts - they remain separate. Apps purcahsed under the old account name will update ONLY WHEN THE PHONE IS SIGNED IN TO THE OLD ACCOUNT NAME and visa versa.
4. Likewise, you can sync only the apps, music, media purchased under the account the phone AND iTunes are signed in to.

Can't install due to password issue

I think this is the problem. .hackers is no valid cookie domain. You have to use something like:
.xy.ab
(two points)
I fear it is not possible to correct this easiely. First change the hostname to something allowed e.g. hackers.com
Then open an ldap browser and edit ou=iplanetamplatformservice,ou=services,dc=hackers
There is an entry with an xml. Copy the xml to an editor, search for .hackers, change it to a valid domainname.
Im not sure if a restart of the webserver is necessary here.
Another idea: You could also try to set the cookie domain to solnce.hackers, maybe this is accepted, even if it is not a cookie domain. But I dont know if this works...

Make sure you have checked off iCloud contacts in your Contacts app under Groups in upper left corner.

Built in microphone not working. Can't select the 'Input Source'.

I can't get the built in mic on my laptop to work, i tried any suggestion i could find on internet but i'm still stuck. I haven't used it before with windows or any other distribution so i can't tel if it's a new/old problem. I think the problem is that i don't have an option to select the 'Input Source' e.g. Mic or Front Mic as i saw in other's amixer controls/contents outputs.

Dreyfus2006, welcome to the forum.
I suggest going into Control Panel / Troubleshooting / Hardware and Sound / Recording Audio. You can run the troubleshooter to see if it finds the problem.
Also, have you uninstalled and reinstalled the microphone in Control Panel / Device Manger / Audio inputs and outputs? This may allow you to install the latest driver.

Icloud: can't login, serious server side issues

I'm having serious issues whith iCloud, can't sign in. I have two appleID's: 1 @mac.com and 1 @me.com (although the account name on appleid.apple.com is withouth the email-suffix "@me.com")
I would like to login in on iCloud.com with my @me.com AppleID and on iTunes with @mac.com. Off course merging the two AppleID's would be better.
Issue:
Can't login on mac os x 10.7.3 (Safari icloud.com, system preferences) with neither AppleID's
Safari icloud.com: Connection error, icloud error while connecting to server
Sys prefs: you can't login this moment
Depending where I login, It works with @me.com or without the mail-suffix
Can login on iphone/ipad/ appleid.apple.com
Tried:
- little snitch not present
- deleted ~/Library/AppSupport/iCloud/Accounts
- emptying Safari cache
- resetting passwords on appleid.apple.com
Other observation:
- could login with safari on other account (guest), no longer possible
- after deleting account on iphone, recreating account logged in with me.com appleID, login works but shows @mac.com account name
- on iOS password from mac.com appleID works with me.com
- can login on appleid.apple.com with both appleid's (with correct passwords)
- me.com accountname is NOT in the form of an email addres, when trying to change accountname in a me.com address, this gets refused

Just upgraded to 10.7.4.
Solved some issues.
I can login via System Preferences and with iTunes with two different accoutns. Although. I have to use the password of the @mac.com AppleID to login with the @me.com AppleID (wiht mail-suffix). Like on my iPhone before.
If I login on the Apple support site I have to use the @me.com (without the mail-suffix) and the correct password.
Understand who can.
Left to check: Fotostream, but first I have some real work to do. Thorough troubleshooting next week.
