Dear All,
Kindly advice what to do to login to the smc console installed in Windows xp.
I receive the below error message when i trying to login:
" Communication could not be established with the server.
The Server version may be incompatible.
Your prompt response will be very Helpful.

then i can't login Oracle BPEL console with domain "default" and default pwd "bpel".
How can i solve this problem and login BPEL console ?

For the errors :

You may be having a have a DNS entry issue:
http://pce-01:9700/BPELConsole
Change on your workstation the hosts file; c\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
add the entry
127.0.0.1 pce-01.<fully quaified domain name>
127.0.0.1 pce-01
Restart the SOA Suite.
Also, regarding the BPEL Console login, generally by default its welcome1, unless you have given a different password at the time of installation when running the irca.sh scripts to create orabpel/oraesb/orawsm schemas.(for SOA Adv install). However, in SOA Basic install, they get installed in olite db, so welcome1 is generally the default password.

To fix your issue is too complicated and lengthy to go into all of it here, it will require the services of person very familiar and experienced with Mac's to first recover your data and then restore OS X back to a functional state, then hopefully achieve the goals you were attempting.
I advise you hire the services of a local Mac computer support technician experienced in these matters.
Have them look at your Wifi and computer backup proceedures in the process.

Can't login after 10.5 install on G4 PM, all this threads, still no clue!!

After reading numerous threads, still I cannot find an answer!
I installed Leopard on my Powermac g4 1.25 DP but I am not able to log in. I can only select the user "other". I have tried resetting the root password and tried to login with username "root" and password "what i previously selected" , but it did not work. All it does all the time is "wiggle" and return to the login screen.
Is it helpful to do a reinstall of Leopard using Archive and Install?? I read this solution works for iMacs.... Does it work for a Powermacs too??
Is it helpful to also change the "user" password (and not only the System administrator (root) password)???
Is it helpful to revert to Tiger and change my password there, before installing Leopard??
When I reset a password in the utility menu on the install disk, I type and retype the password. Should I then click "reset" or "safe"???
I hope anyone here can solve my problem or at least answer a few of my questions. Thanks in advance!!

You might try to boot the machine with the installation disk, and after the screen where it asks for the language click on the arrow and wait until you see the menu bar at the top of the screen. It may take a few seconds to a minute.
Go to Utilities and there is a reset password selection. Use it to select the user you want to reset the password for. You should then be able to reboot and sign and take care of the other accounts. I've had to use this a time or two at work - it should work in your situation.
After you log in do a Repair Permissions. You can also do it from the install disk, if you still have some issues after the reset password procedure.

Can't login to Admin Console after period not using

Hi,
We have portal 3.0P4 on Solaris 8 (gateway and server seperate systems) and have always the same problem.
After a time, not using the admin console, we're not allowed to login anymore.
We get the following message: Your Admininstration Console login session has timed out.
The auth log says: Login Failed Unix initialization LoginExceptionI/O exception trying to
connect to Unix service UserDomain /<domeinname>
Only after restarting the portal, it works fine again. This is not a solution with a production system!
Can someone help ...

DId you try restarting just the Unix auth helper (doUnix) process instead of the whole ipsserver?
Sometimes even if the process is running it has a problem.

You can check the login through the Essbase command utility.
go to command prompt . type - essmsh
then you will be able to see MaxL prompt
enter the command login username password;
you can use this utility to load data , import export running calc etc...

SCCM Console install on Windows 8

I have upgrade our SCCM installation to 2012 SP1. When trying to install the console on my local Windows 8 machine, I receive the message "Microsoft System Center 2012 Configuration Manager Console does not support per-user installations".
I've tried both the .exe and .msi with the same result. Has anyone seen this before? My machine is Windows 8 Enterprise, btw.

I have installed the Admin console several times on Windows 8 or Windows 8.1. However exactly are you running the msi? Exactly what command line are you using?

Can Photoshop 5.0 LE be installed with Windows 7?

On our previous computer with Vista, Photoshop 5.0 would install with no problems, but it's not compatible with Windows 7. I've googled for solutions, but none of them were successful. Has anyone been able to do this? I've been using Artweaver, but it's not quite the same.

I'm a little late to this party, but I just tried to install 5.0LE on a windows machine as well, and after countless attempts at things suggested by numerous sources (including Microsoft's Virtual PC, which won't install cleanly), I can say that yes, you absolutely CAN run 5.0LE on Windows 7... well, on Windows 7 Enterprise, at least. I haven't tried other versions yet.
Here's what I did:
Running the installer in compatibility mode wouldn't work for me. However, if you go to the Start Menu, type "windows update" in the search box (do not hit enter), I got an option for "Run programs made for previous versions of windows" under control panel. I chose this, and it brought up a new window for program compatibility. Choose next, and it will search for programs it can run. It won't find 5.0LE as it isn't installed. Choose "not listed" at the top of the list and then next. At the next window, choose "browse", then browse to your installation disc. Go into the Photoshop LE directory and choose the setup file. Then click open and the installer should kick in.
Worked beautifully for me. Perhaps trying to run compatibility mode on the setup.exe file would work as well, but it certainly didn't work on the installer package on the disk.
In any case, though, it does work for me - all the functionality is there....

Can't open the Firefox after install on window. Error indicated I missing the EXE file

Firefox required me to update the flash player, Norton indicated the flash player I just download may contains virus so I removed it right a way. After the virus scanned, I reboot the computer and I am not able to open the Firefox and other applications on the desktop. I got a message indicated the exe file was corrupted or removed. I really don't want to buy other program to fix this problem.

Can Adobe Design Premium CS5 be installed on Windows 8?

I have Adobe Design Premium CS5 (purchased on Education discount) installed on two laptops, one of which is now dying. I need to get the CS5 onto my new laptop, which has Windows 8.
1. Does CS5 work with Windows 8?
2. What do I need to do? Do I need to uninstal CS5 from the old laptop first? (not sure it will work, as sometimes it doens't even start)
3. Do I use this place to download CS5 https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install.html? Will I be asked for the serial number and that's it? Or is there anything else I need to do?

I followed the 'very important instructions' that you sent the link for; all fine up to the point of trying to download. I tried first using the link http://prodesigntools.com/all-adobe-cs5-direct-download-links.html and clicked on Download Now under the table of direct downloads - it installed the InstalConverter.exe fine. Then I tried to download File 1 and File 2 of CS5 Design Premium from the table but I am getting the following message for both:
ACCESS DENIED. You don't have permission to access "http://trials2.adobe.com/AdobeProducts/MDIA/CS5/win32/DesignPremium_CS5_LS1.exe?" on this server.
Could this be because the 2 licences have been already used? (However, it might have done something, as I found an Adobe folder in my Program files containing Flash Player; unfortunately it doesn't seem to work so it probably is not in fact installed)
I tried to deactivate the Adobe CS5 on my old laptop, as suggested but not sure how to do it for the whole CS5 package. Do I have to deactivate every CS5 component separately?
I tried the download also via the other website - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-product-downloads.html. The download of the zip file (file 1) got stuck about 75% through, giving a message that the zip file can't be opened...

Iphone 5 S can't get sync with itunes installed on windows 2003 server SP2

After successfully installed itunes 11.1.5 for windows (i'm using windows 2003 server SP2 32bit). Whenever time I connect my iphone 5S to this computer, it always pops up an error message "This iPhone cannot be used because the required software is not installed. Run the iTunes installer to remove iTunes, then install iTunes again"
After I uninstalled/reinstalled many times I got successful install iTunes software, but this still having problem with this error message. When I open iTunes application and plug my iPhone 5S it always show the above error message & on iTunes application --> Files --> Devices I couldn't see any devices available (i.e Syns option is faded out & not clickable)

You face with this error, because of Trex installation package is trying to install native i386 redistributables (vcredist_x86.msi) during the process. In order to patch Trex system on x64 architecture, follow the instructions, below;
1) Start sapinst, under your <TREX_PATCH> path
2) Ignore AMD64 warning popup
3) When popup appears on the "1603:Fatal error during installation." error, change temp folders on both environment variables, on my computer
4) Download and execute "vcredist_x64.exe" then run installer
5) After respective installation click on "Retry" button on error popup
At the end of this operation, your Trex patch will be succeeded. Please do not forget to undo your temp directory settings, on your Trex host. I hope that it is clarify your question.

Can't Login from Essbase Studio

Hello Everyone,
I am new to Essbase. I have successfully installed Essbase in Unix server. But when i tried to login from essbase studio which I have installed in windows. I got the following error from log files in the server.

and I got following error in the client side

I can also connect ./start_BPMS_bpms1_CommandLineClient.sh from command line in Unix server. But i couldn't connect from my studio console install in windows.
I am getting the following error.
