Can't login to App Store, error 1, hangs on spinner

I try to download XCode or XCode docs, but login page just hangs on spinner, after I input my login data and press Login button.
Logs says:

  • Ethernet problem - i can't login in App store

    Hi, I've tried to download Osx Yosemite from app store but i can't log in, it gives this error 'Your device or computer could not be verified. Contact support for assistance.'
    I found that if you have not a working ethernet you can't login, well a year ago my two ethernet ports are broken along with my router and a hub ethernet cause of a lightning strike and i'm using wifi adapter since then.
    So how am i be able to login to app store, or anyway download Osx Yosemite?

    I think it's possible (but I can't be sure) that the added WiFi card is the cause. Every device that can access the internet has a unique MAC (media access code). Maybe App store recognizes it as a non-Apple product? Or, more likely, your AppleID isn't correctly associated with that wifi device.
    I think you may need to call Apple or go to an Apple Store.
    I also think you may get more help if you post on the App Store topic area.
    And I see several help videos on youtube - maybe worth a try.

    I would buy 'Lion"  in the App store but it isn't possible.
    I received the error message:

    The login in Itunes with the same name and password is possible.
    What to do, so I can buy apps in the store for my iMac and Macbook Air.

    Remember only Intel Core 2 Duo or above can download Lion OSX 10.7.3.

  • Can't login to App Store on more than one device

    Since resetting my Apple ID password I now cannot fully login to get downloads for apps etc in the App Store. I have to revert to downloading on my PC they syncing, very frustrated with this one, I've tried everything including doing a full power down and restarting, resetting my password again, checking the time is correct, all the crap that the apple cust services suggested. Absolutely drained with it all!
    both are running latest ios
    on the phone I tap settings/itunes & App Store /Apple ID sign out, then tap password to sign in, so far so good.
    GOto to the App Store and tap any free app, click install and then all I get is the blue spinning circle
    this is on wifi and cellular
    when I do the above on my iPad it's slightly different
    tap settings/itunes & App Store. I don't have the option to sign out because it never is signed n. I tap the password and enter it, tap the sign in and the sign in text goes from blue to grey, then back to blue. That's all it does, keep tapping away at sign in but it won't.
    Apple customer services are taking me on a long circular journey of despair and quite frankly they hadn't got a clue how to understand my issue nor resolve it.

      trying to log in to itunes on either computer I get a 1008 error message.
      on machine runs sophos antivirus, the other avast.  disabling antivirus has no effect.
      no 3rd party firewall is running.
      repair disk permissions had no effect.
      removing ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iTunes*  and com.apple.mobile.iTunes.store.plist* had no effect.
      changed computer name in Computer sharing, no effect.
    any ideas?
    got the 10.8 update from the app store when it came out though i hadn't applied it, catch 22 prevents me from updating the system to see if that helps.

    The issue is not related to an update.

  • Can't login in App Store through iPad 3

    I used my AppleID for a long time, there were no problems at all.
    Since yesterday it's not possible to get connected with the store.
    The message is: "the connection failed and can not connect to the app store".
    I tried to restart my iPad many times, but still doesn't work.
    I use Version 5.1.1 (9B206) on my iPad 3
    Is there somebody at the Community to help me solving my problem?

    Try this...
    Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
    Then restart your IPad.
    Hold the power button until "slide to power off" appears.  Slide to power off.  After it is off, press the power button to turn it back on.
    A reset won't delete any data.

  • I can't login to App Store after upgrading to Mavericks.

    I read through all the suggestions here, nothing help. My username and password are correct, but still not work. I can't log in, means I can't update my iWork, can't purchase new apps. Should I still wait till Apple fix the problem or should I reverse to my previous version?

    1. Make sure software is up to date
    2. Make sure FaceTime is enabled; Settings>FaceTime
    3. Make sure Date and Time is correctly set; Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>On
    4. Make sure Push Notification is enabled
    5. Make sure phone number or email address is correct
    6. Hold the Sleep and Home button down (together) until you see the Apple Logo

    In short, because you are in Iran and probably trying to use the App store in another country. You can search the forums for several other threads on this topic.

    I've disabled the firewalls, the virus protection, the application protection - nothing helps.

    I'd maybe try doing a search for Safari on your iPad first (swipe to the left to search). If it shows up in that search you can go to Settings > General > Reset and choose 'reset home screen layout' which will put it back where it would be by default.
    All else fails? Restore it.
