Can't login to user discussion with Safari
Hi, everytime I try to login to the discussion forum I enter my ID and a window appears asking me for my desired alias, location, etc.
Only in Safari!! With Firefox everything is OK.
When I try to enter the Alias and other Info in Safari it always give me the same error: "Choose a different name"
Weird...
Any ideas?
Many Thanks
Hi, I tried everything you said, and the nothing changed. Even on my iMac I get the same problem.
I even deleted passwords from KeyChain...
Only Firefox will do!
It's a very weird thing.
Any other tip?
Many Thanks

Can't login to Yahoo mail with Safari
Hi,
I'm using a Macbook (13", 2.4 Ghz) running OS 10.6.8. I'm using Safari 5.1.2. I am unable to login to my Yahoo mail account with Safari (works fine using Firefox). Specifically, when I enter my login name and password, then hit <enter>, nothing happens. The cursor sits there blinking next to the bullets in the password field. If I click on the "sign in" button, again, nothing happens. The password field becomes unselected, but that's it. I've tried various remedies suggested in the forums: delete keychains, delete cookies, reset Safari. Nothing has worked. Is anyone else having this problem?Quit Safari.
Open Keychain Access. Select Passwords on the left.
Delete the: Safari Forms Autofill keychain You can use the search field top right corner of the window to find that keychain.
Then right or control click the keychain then click Delete.
Relaunch Safari. Go to Safari > Preferences - Autofill
Make sure: User names and passwords is selected.
Try accessing your Yahoo account.
BTW, there's a way to access your Yahoo account without having to use web based mail via a browser.
Launch Mac Mail. From the menu bar click Mail > Preferences then select the Accounts tab then the Account Information tab.
Under Accounts on the left click +
Enter your name, Yahoo user name and password; click Continue
Once your account is setup with Mac Mail, you just click the Mail icon in your Dock. You'll see a small red badge for unread mail there also.
This way you don't have to use a browser (dealing with cookies and caches) to access your Yahoo mail account. -
Can't login to any websites with safari?
Hi, I have a prblem, that I can not login anymore to any websites (such as facebook, apple, yahoo ...) using Safari version 5.1.9, how I could solve this problem, because when you are trying to login it just reloads and asks again to type the username and pasword.
Are you using a third party password manager?
And try this ...
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type of copy paste the following:
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test.

If you have more than one user account, you must be logged in as an administrator to carry out these instructions.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below to select it:
sudo opensnoop -e 2>&- | sed -En '/ m[dt]/d;s/(\/Users\/)[^/]+/\1-/p;/ReportC/q' | tail -50 | pbcopy
Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Paste into the Terminal window (command-V). You'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. If you don’t have a login password, you’ll need to set one before you can run the command. You may get a one-time warning not to screw up. Confirm. You don't need to post the warning.
If you see a message that your username "is not in the sudoers file," then you're not logged in as an administrator. Log in as one and start over.
Now take the action that causes the crash.
The command may take a noticeable amount of time to run. Wait for a new line ending in a dollar sign ($) to appear.
The output of the command will be automatically copied to the Clipboard. If the command produced no output, the Clipboard will be empty. Paste into a reply to this message.
The Terminal window doesn't show the output. Please don't copy anything from there.
If any personal information appears in the output, anonymize before posting, but don’t remove the context.
You can then quit Terminal.
Important: There is an obscure bug in some versions of OS X that may cause cursor movement to lag or stutter after running the above command. If you notice this behavior, simply restart the computer to clear it. -
Can't login to Panera wifi with new 2013 MBA
My 3 other devices, old 2010 MBA, iPhone, and iPad can login fine.
Every pc here is logged in.
My brand new July 2013 MBA can not login.
I've cleared Safari cookies, cache, turned off firewall to no avail.
I see the Login screen, both in a dialag and in Safari when I open it,
click on Login, see "Redirecting..." as on the other devices,
then on new MBA get "Unable to open web page."
The new MBA can login at home and to other hotspots such as the nearby one that I'm using now.
Any suggestions, please?I've been using Panerabread WiFi for years with laptops - Toshiba and now MacBookPro (couple of years old). The problems started when my iPhone 4S would not bring up the log-in screen, which had been working for 1-1/2 years. Seems the new Cafe' system would have a fight between the Cellular Data and the WiFi for dominance. Called the Panerabread help number (after getting it off the webpage on my home computer), and they tried a few things including having me give them the IP of my phone so they could try from their end. It eventually seemed to work, but the following morning I had the same issue.
Solution included putting my phone into airplane mode, along with wifi mode. That and trying to start a Google app page instead of Safari. I think eliminating the cookies and such also helped, but the major part was to force only a wifi connection - like my laptops do. -
How can I get all users associated with my VSO
I see here: https://www.visualstudio.com/en-us/integrate/api/shared/profiles that I can get my profile info from the API, but can I get all users associated with an account?
Hello!
If you want to see all of that in a single mailbox, you can create a Smart Mailbox from the "file" menu in the top left corner of your screen. It's a bit of trial and error before you get the rules correct, perhaps, but that will work. -
I can't access some web pages with safari like forever 21, express .com. Even though I used to access them previously

Can i login to other schema with diffrent user.
Hi !
I read that user is associated with schema.
so can i drop the user and preserve the schema and login to schema with other user.
oracel 11g EX
yours sincerely
Edited by: 944768 on Aug 29, 2012 4:41 AMHi,
I read that user is associated with schema.
so can i drop the user and preserve the schema and login to schema with other user.If you drop a user, you drop the schema. There is no real difference between these two terms in Oracle Database.
But you could revoke any login-related privileges and lock the account to prevent that schema to be used for logging in.
You can still use objects (tables, views, procedures, ...) that exist in that schema using a different user that has grants on these objects. Which of the available access methods would fit best to your case depends on your usage scenario.

Can not login the WebCenter Discussions Admin console
Hi
I have installed the oracle web center 11.1.1.2 and 11.1.1.3 patch and have the weblgic admin/wls_services server running successfully. after create two new users in the embed weblogic i can login the webcenter discussion. The two test users can post a announcement but have no right to create a new forum and post new thread. So i want to login the ADMIN console by host:port/owc_discussions/admin but denied, including the weblogic default admin user(weblogic/weblogic1). in the webcenter administation guide, it says:
"By default, Oracle WebCenter Discussions is configured to use the embedded LDAP identity store: all users in the embedded LDAP store can log on to the discussions server, and all users in the Administrators group have administrative privileges on Oracle WebCenter Discussions." in 12.2.2 Discussions Server - Security Considerations
also tried to change the configuration file for Jive(jive_startup.xml), setting the setup element to false which mentioned in another threads in this forum and still not work.
Currently all i want to do is login the discussion as admin and create a forum, say 'Generic' and register the connection in Jdevoper and create a custom app for posting new thread.
Hope someone can help.I have resolved this issue by re-build the installation

Can't login to Apple Discussions
I'm typing this from my Mac at work.
On my iMac at home I cannot login to Apple Discussions. When I click on the login button it brings me to a grayed out page.
Also, I noticed that I cannot access BBC websites like for news etc.
I restarted my modem but no change. I'm stumped as to what is happening. Any help greatly appreciated.
Currently my DNS servers are 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or earlier, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test. -
How can I login to CQ Cloud with an Adobe email
I am an adobe employee and I created my adobe ID with my Adobe email. Then I login to CQ Cloud with this ID. After I input my email and password, it told me:"you will be receiving an email shortly from Adobe with a link to login with your Adobe ID credentials." But I never received this email and for this reason, every time I closed the "note", I need to sign in again to CQ Cloud. Is there anyone can help me?
The first time that you contact adobecqcloud.com you will receive a 'Thank You' welcome page. The generation of that page will initiate a process to provision you. Once you have been provisioned, you will see the Clouds Dashboard as the first screen (instead of ThankYou).
If you are seeing the ThankYou page for more than 24 hours then there is a problem in our provisioning process. If that occurs, please send email to [email protected] and include the adobeid that you are using to log in. This information will enable us to troubleshoot the issue. We can also manually intervene in order to get your access set up quickly. -
Can no longer download journal articles with Safari or Firefox
As of three weeks ago I am no longer able to download and save journal articles, though I am able to read them. I can save documents when there is simply a "save" or "view" button indicated next to a document in small blue letters if I click the "save" button. Using OSX 10.6.8 on a MacBookPro
Any help would be greatly appreciated!Try deleting the cache associated with Safari ...
Quit Safari.
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy / paste: ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari
Click Go then move the Cache.db file from the com.apple.Safari folder to the Trash.
Relaunch Safari to test. -

Why can't I open yahoo mail with safari?
As of July 29 I can no longer open Yahoo mail in Safari. It keeps asking for user name and password, but when I enter it the same screen keeps coming up.
Clear Safari, then close it completely and reset the iPad.
Go to Settings>Safari>Clear Cookies and Data.
Now close Safari. In order to close apps in iOS 7, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -
[SOLVED] Can only login to Arch forum with Firefox
Hi everyone,
I'm a new member and thus do not familiar with the rule. Please tell me if I post in the wrong place !
I have registered a new account on Arch forum. However, I can only login with Firefox.
When I try to login with other browser (Opera, Chromium, Konquerer), it says:
Redirecting
Logged in successfully. Redirecting …
Click here if you do not want to wait any longer (or if your browser does not automatically forward you)
And then redirect me to the previous page without changing my login status.
When I login with Firefox, everything is normal. My login status is changed and I can post this one !
I have just installed Arch Linux this afternoon and have not changed anything.
Does the forum have problem?!
Anyone has the same problem with me?!
Last edited by BlueLaguna (2012-11-28 21:42:16)Your SYSTEM is broken because a browser does not work? And that requires a reinstall?
There may be a problem during installation. That's what I mean.
Anyway, I have just installed Arch Linux. Firefox is still the only browser that work.
Your time would be better spent fixing the problem first. Cache or configuration, pick one or both.
I'm pretty sure that cache and configuration are not concerned with this problem. I'm a web developer and I know these stuffs.
Besides, I don't think that we need to config anything with a newly installed browser. If the default settings do not work with normal website, it's a bad browser (in this case, we have three bad browsers: Konqueror, Chromium, Opera... and may be more).
I'm using KDE and I don't know whether this problem comes from KDE or not. However, I can login to many other forums with Konqueror, Opera and Chromium.
This forum may not create the session or cookies correctly when I use other browsers.
Anyway, If no one confirms that he or she has the same problem, let's close this topic here.
