Can't logon through filevault
I had some problems after updating the iTunes, and at the end, I decided to use Time Machine. Picked a date before iTunes update, but after finishing, I could not logon. The filevault came with a warning, not able to logon to "my acount name", due to a failure. I'm 100% of the password, and when i try other passwords, it simply shake. I can logon through guest, but all programs, files etc are gone.
Anyone who knows about this...what to do? Is there any way I can collect the information from the Time Machine? When I'm possitive about the right password?
When i just reinstall Lion, there are a few programs missing...iPhoto, iWeb, Garage etc...Should i start installing Snow Leopard, and afterwards the Lion? Dont wanna spend money on the programs that i had earlier through the Snow program...

Boot from your recovery partition by holding down the key combination command-R at the startup chime. Release the keys when you see a gray screen with a spinning dial.
When the Recovery desktop appears, reinstall the Mac OS. You don't need to erase the boot volume, and you won't need your backup unless something goes wrong. If your Mac didn’t ship with Lion, you’ll need the Apple ID and password you used to upgrade, so make a note of those before you begin.

Now as Support packages (SPAM) has locked SNOTE transactions also - is there any way that we can deimplement the above sap note from our system.

Can't logon to directory through sync_user, but can through Tx LDAP - Find
Hi,
I'm trying to import users into SAP from MS Active Directory using RSLDAPSYNC_USER. When running it I get the error "Could not logon to directory" with the diagnosis "The combination of user name (DN) and password transferred to the directory was not accepted by the directory."
My settings in RSLDAPSYNC_USER is:
Connection: the only server and connector I have created
User: no information entered here
Both Dir and DB: Ignore
Only Dir: Create in DB
Only DB: Ignore
Time meas: no information entered here
I have not extended the schema since I don't want to change anything in AD, only copy the users from AD into SAP. I have set Import Mapping, and Import Synch on all my fields in LDAPMAP, and one field with the additional indicators Filter, Export mapping, RDN Mapping (since theses apparently are required, even if you don't want to write anything in the AD?).
I can however logon to the server using Tx LDAP, and I manage to get search results using Find in Tx LDAP. I have only created one LDAP server, one System User and one LDAP Connector in Tx LDAP.
I have tried to use both Simple Memory and Secure Storage as the Credential Storage for the System User. I have entered the password for the user in credentials. When I for testing purporses choose Simple Memeory and also remove the credentials for the System User, and try to run RSLDAPSYNC_USER again, I get the following messaged:

<red> LDAP_SEARCH failed
<red> The system could not create the directory object ppol

Can I interpret this error message in some way? Logically I think my first try should work since I'm using the same server/user/connector when running RSLDAPSYNC_USER and it fails, as I do when I run a Find through Tx LDAP and it works.
Is there something I'm missing?

There can be couple of reason for all the dialog work process to be occupied. Some of the reason are
1. System has not been configured to handle enough dialog users
2. Load balancing has not been configured correctly and all users are directed to one app server.
3. SAPLOGON pad configuration of all user is pointing users only to one app server
4. RFC user/s are occupying all the work process as no limit has been set in RZ12. This typically happens with transactional
RFC calls.(This is most likely the cause SAP has some good parametrs to limit RFC users from occupying dialog processes)
To your first question about user not been able to login there can be couple of reason
1. Network issue (If its impacting many users/ Users in one region)
2. Archive is full
3. Things I listed above

yesterday I've installed my copy of NetWeaver Sneak Preview 2004s ABAP. The installation runns smoothly. Licence installation did not worked through transaction SLICENSE. So I logged on as User nspadm and did it on command line. But now to my problem: I can't logon with language "DE". I get the error "Select one of the installed languages". I've checked Transaction SMLT and German looks like English.

there is the 'zcsa/installed_languages' parameter in the profile (NSP_DVEBMGS00_<hostname>) set to 'E'. If you'd like to run your Sneak Preview in German language you have to remove the parameter from the profile and then restart the system.

I accidentally connected 2 seperate accounts that I had to facebook--one was "work" one was "home." My "work" account was connected to facebook first, and when I accidentally connected my "home" account, it completely changed my work account and I can no longer see those playlists. I've now completely disconnected my home account from facebook and removed the spotify app from facebook (then readded). I've tried clicking "log on with facebook" on my phone and in the browser. In the brower, it just never connects. On my phone it says "error 404." When I try to "reset" my password, it keeps saying, to change your password on this account, you have to go to facebook. So I know that my account is out there somewhere, I just can't access it anymore. My friend looked up my original "work" account and has my account username, but I can't logon at all through facebook. Can someone help me reconnect the accounts? Thanks!

Our environment has both 2008R2 and 2012R2 Domain Controllers. Recently one of our Domain Admins started having problems logging onto all servers by remote desktop except for domain controllers. The error message is as follows:
"To log on to this remote computer, you must be granted the Allow log on through Terminal
Services right. By default, members of the Remote Desktop Users group have this right. If you are not a member of the Remote
Desktop Users group or another group that has this right, or if the Remote Desktop Users group does not have this right, you must be granted this right manually"
All the other Domain Admin Accounts do not have this problem. Suggested solutions recommend checking local policies on the individual servers however I feel that is not
right. Also there many servers hence doing that in each member server would be cumbersome. There must be solution that requires a single action for all servers and also does not involve creating a new account. The account was recently used to implement
a Windows 2012R2 WSUS server and besides the DC's, it is the only other server the account can remote into. This is strange. Help please.Hi,
Does that user has permission for remoting before?
To start with, there are two types of user rights; Logon rights & Privileges. In simpler terms these are:
1) Remote Logon: rights to machine
2) Logon: privileges for access to the RDP-TCP Listener
The Remote Logon is governed by the “Allow Logon through Terminal Services” group policy. This is under
Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\User Rights Assignment.
Also check RDP-TCP listener properties. More information.

They will only be where you put them If you are doing the very basics, then they will be on your computer and they will be in your backup copy of your computer.
The itunes store is not global at all, never has been. You cannot redownload your content from another country. You can only use the countrys itunes store for the country that you are physically located. -

MBP freezes after 10.4.11 and I can't get through to AppleCare
This is beyond ridiculous. Since applying the 10.4.11 update, my MBP always locks up after waking from sleep. There has been no exception since updating. I kept it turned off for about 24 hours, then used it all afternoon without letting it sleep and didn't have a single freeze. Sure enough, the first time I closed the lid to let it sleep, it locked up within seconds of waking up. This was happening spradically prior to the 10.4.11 update, but now it's rendering my MBP unuseable.
Yes, I have AppleCare and I tried calling Apple twice last week. Both times, I got cut off. Both times, I could barely understand the Indian trying to help me, and one got snippy with me when I had to keep asking him to repeat himself. Neither time did I actually get to speak with a technician. One of those times I got a recorded message telling me that Apple was closed for the holiday and to call back during normal business hours. Friday wasn't a holiday (at least not in this country) and I was calling during normal business hours for THIS country, but perhaps not for India. I've never experienced any trouble getting AppleCare support via telephone in the past, even on Sundays.
I've run Apple Hardware Test and TechTool Deluxe, neither of which reports any drive problems. The nearest Apple Store is an hour's drive from here. Apparently, I have one of the Seagate drives recently found to be defective. All I want to know is whether or not I should let Apple replace the drive with one that isn't defective.
I'm at a loss here. I'm paying for AppleCare, but can't get through to a comprehensible English speaker capable of answering that very simple question. I can't let my MBP sleep because it'll lock up upon waking. I can't find any way to send feedback to Apple about the unacceptable experience trying to get through to support last week. Is no one accountable for anything these days? And to think I bought an iPhone last week too!Here is what I think may be the relevant portion of my system.log file. When connected to my new Ford Mondeo, my ipod nano can be controlled through user interface in car. This worksd most of the time, but after a while if I try to change the music or search, it comes up with message 'Loading Data'. I then have to pull out USB and reinseert, at which point it works again. Has anyone esle expereinced this/have a solution?
Does not matter if anyone else has this issue. You need to contact the Ford dealership. It's their product you are having problems with.
If you really want to know if anyone else has this issue, post on Ford's Mondeo message boards. It's where the Ford car owners hang out. -

If the problem persists after you reboot as suggested by Ralph:
Trouble connecting usually means interference, or another WiFi on the same channel.
If you have any cordless phones, keyboards, or cameras, check what frequency they use.
From a MAC or Windows machine you can see what channel each of the available networks are using. Make sure your network is on a channel nobody else nearby is also using.
