Can't make MPEG-4 project work at 25fps

The movie I'm importing is recorded in PAL (640/480) and plays at 25 fps when opened in the QuickTime player. Image speed for new projects in iMove HD is at 25fps. Nevertheless when I create a MPG-4 project the imported clip plays back at 30 fps.
Projects in DV format work fine at 25 fps.
But I need projects in MPEG-4 because then I can easily edit clips that I record with TVMax+, a video convertor which let you save in a MPEG-4 format that iMovie HD can import without reconverting.
Any suggestions are more than welcome...

I have had this same problem for weeks now with my 4S. I just got a new 5S after being extremely frustrated and the same thing - no sounds. After searching posts all over, I couldn't find a solution. I just told my friend of the issue and he asked "Do you have the Do Not Distrub on?" I didn't even know such a function existed. Upon looking that was exactly the issue.
To resolve, go to Settings> Do Not Disturb> Manual. If it is green, turn it off. You will now get phone calls and text alerts.
This functionality is also on your quick access utility menu (slide up menu). I assume this is how it was enabled on my phone.
I will post on other sites since I searched for weeks for this solution and didn't see it anywhere. Good luck!

i just figured the problem and has nothing to do with changing those integers. in the audio MIDI setting (app in utilities folder) for the c920 make sure the format is set to 24000hz, and it will finally work. if its set to 16000hz or 32000hz it wont work. i actually went backand put the integer settings to its original settings. 24integer for mac and 16 for c920.

You actually have to update the entire QuickTime application to get a new version of the QuickTime plugin that Firefox uses.
I don't know what you mean by a licensed version of QuickTime. Do you have QuickTime Pro (paid version) or the free version?
If you are updating the free version, just download it from http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/ and then install it on top of your current version (no need to uninstall it first).

I have the Satellite 5200-902 notebook. Unfortunately there is no support for such an "old" notebook like this concerning Windows Vista. Vista runs great on it but the only thing I didn´t make is to make to FN buttons work in Vista.
Can someone please give me an advice ?

Unfortunately I do not believe you will have success with those buttons. The fact is that Toshiba use self designed utility for functionality of all FN buttons. As you know, old notebook models are not vista supported and you will not be able to find and install any utility for that.
Sorry but there is nothing to do.

Can't make a new project

I have 20 GB free but iMovie 11 tells me "Please check the disk to ensure there is enough free space and you have permission to write projects" - I am the only owner of the PBPro it is on and have not set or changed any permissions relating to iMovie. I have only once been able to make a project and that was a 40 second test clip. It often just goes into not responding mode after opening it and after ages of nothing happening I have to force quit.

Trashing iMovie's preference file will often fix problems.
With iMovie closed, go to your Home folder <your user name>/Library/Preferences (NOT the Library folder at the top level in Macintosh HD). Similar to Mountain Lion, on Lion (10.7.5), the Home Library folder will be hidden (unlike pre-Lion OS X versions). To access it, click and hold down Go in the Finder menu bar, then press and hold down the Option key on the keyboard - the Library folder will appear in the drop down list. Slide the pointer down to Library and, as you release the pointer, the folder will open in Finder. Now you can navigate to the Preferences folder.
In the Library/Preferences folder, locate a file named "com.apple.iMovieApp.plist". With iMovie closed, drag this file to the Desktop. When next opened, iMovie will create a fresh preference file with the default settings (this happens in the background as iMovie is loading).
If iMovie now opens and appears to be working properly, you can change the default settings in the menu item "IMovie > Preferences", as desired. Also, it's now safe to drag the old preference file to the Trash. Trashing the file will not harm any existing Events or Projects.
Note that these instructions are for iMovie '11 (the latest version being 9.0.9). For users on earlier versions of iMovie, the preference file has a different but similar name. For example, for iMovie '09 (that's version 8.0.6) the file is named "com.apple.iMovie8.plist". Earlier versions may or may not have a number in the name, for example, "com.apple.iMovie.plist".

I have read the existing threads on the subject but can't seem to make a simple 'IF' statement work in MS Query with a single table. I always get the following error:
Returns error message:
"Incorrect syntax near the keyword 'if'
Incorrect syntax near ','.
Statement(s) could not be prepared.
Here's my query (simplified, but not much):
select *
from table t
where t.modifieddate > if(t.active=0, date1, date2)
Just to see if I could get AN if statement to work, I've also tried:
SELECT t.active, if(t.active=0,2,3)
FROM CdmsTimeSheet.dbo.Registrations t
And
SELECT t.active, if(t.active='0','2','3')
FROM CdmsTimeSheet.dbo.Registrations t
And

Not sure what kind of database you are using. In SQL Server, you should use 'Case when' Statement Or 'IIF' function instead of if.
e.g.
