Can't make phone calls with Siri

I can't make phone call through siri. I'm from Myanmar and local numbers can't be called. Whenever I call, siri said "sorry, I can't make phone calls using that number". I added my country code +95 but it didn't help. But when I call oversea numbers, it works just fine.

According to this forum: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2175165/all, it seems that Siri is expecting a 7-8 digit phone numbers excluding the country code and area code, so adding an extra "0" digit or two at the back of the phone number may be able to fix your problem. The phone number should still connect correctly. Try that, it works for me in Indonesia where some phone numbers are still 6 digits.

Problem - Can't make phone calls with my new Tour 9630

I just bought a new phone - Tour 9630. Its a brand new phone on Sprint.
Now I am in India using this phone on Vodafone and all the services are on, I can send and receive emails, texts, go to websites and download stuff BUT I cant make any calls from that phone.
Everytime I try making a call, it just disconnects after 2 seconds as if it was not registering anything.
What I tried:
Change the mobile connection to GSM only and hard reset the phone - DID NOT WORK
I tried calling service provider who mentioned all my services are working fine
I tried changing the sim card on the new phone - DID NOT WORK
I used my Vodafone sim in another - Works fine but not on the new phone.
I called blackberry support at vodafone - they say I might have to update the OS, which does not sound as music to my ears because this a new phone.
I rebooted the phone million times - DID NOT WORK
I wiped the phone and reinstalled everything - DID NOT WORK
Checked and changed all the setting and tried making calls - DID NOT WORK
Anything you could do to please help me so that I can make phone calls will be highly appreciated.

My issue has been taken care of. It seems that Sprint has had an issue with the phone number prefix 238 in the 24151 zipcode. I ended up having to change my phone number and put my phone number under a new zipcode. It all works awesome again. Thanks.

I purchased two brand new Apple products: MacBook Pro with Retina display, and the new iPhone 6. I would love to use this new feature of making phone calls with my macbook but cannot seem to make it work. It keeps saying "iPhone and macbook has to be on the same wifi network" Which they are, I have followed the steps in preferences on my macbook and in my iPhone that will allow the use of these new features. Any help? Please it is frustrating to have something not work.

TS4079 I can only make international calls with siri, not local calls

I live in Burundi, with the country code +257. I can make calls to the US, Canada and Europe but I can't make local calls. I have tried all the troubleshooting tips and tricks, checked my settings etc. Any ideas?

Can't make international calls with Siri?

I use Siri (in English) and when I try to make it call someone in a specific foreign country I'm having some issues. It works for all national calls and when I phone SOME foreign numbers too (from Australia etc).
All my numbers (national or not) have the +country code before it and it works perfectly when calling from my contact list, but a few of them don't work when I tell siri to call them: "Sorry, I can't call (name of the contact)". It doesn't give me a reason.
The number is correct and I phone it several times and it works, but still Siri won't call it, it recognizes the contact and their number, tries to call it and then it says it can't.
The number has the +country code of 2 digits, and then the normal 10 digits number (just like the national numbers I usually call and THEY WORK).
Is Siri not allowed to make calls to specific countries? If so, what are these?
Note that it can call national numbers and also some international numbers I have but only to SOME countries!)

You will need to find an App for voip calls, but normal SIM card calls are not possible.

It worked for some time, less than a week, I made phone calls and all, and all of a sudden the problem mentioned above happened. Now I can't make any phone calls. I can go online with it, even with my Data plan, I can go to the app store (of course) but can't make any phone calls.
Please help, this is frustrating.

Also try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button until the Apple lo comes up again. You will not lose any data doing this.

I can't make phone calls anymore

hello everybody,
i've got one of the first iphone 5. and since yesterday i can't make phone calls anymore.
if i want to call someone, the other phone rings, but if he accepts the call there is just a very loud static rush noise. that was yesterday and this morning, now there is nothing besides sometimes a static rush. i can't hear anything and the other doesn't hear anything.
i've checked the microphone by using siri or voice recorder. there it works fine. everything is fine, just the phone calls don't work.
even if i try to make phone calls using bluetooth handsfree it doesn't work.
i resetter my phone completely and set it up as a new phone but still the same.
i just don't know what to do. i need my phone for 6 more weeks until iphone 6 is ready

The same thing is happening with my wife's iPhone 4 and we can't figure it out. When placing a call, the screen freezes and she needs to restart the entire phone.
She upgraded to 5.01 this morning over the air while it was plugged in. Immediately afterwards, this problem started happening. We've tried restarting the phone several times and plugged in to iTunes but there's nothing she can do do to fix it.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

The problem is that Unlimited World only covers Taiwan landline numbers, it doesn't cover mobiles which you have tried to call recently.

How can I recorrd phone calls with my iPhone? Here in Bogota, Colombia, the IPhone support, has been trying to download programs, which should make possible to record phone calls, but they do not work. They and myself, we have lost many hours trying. Please help.

Are there any settings which are fundamental on the iPhone, I have activated:
- iCloud Drive
- FaceTime (FaceTime and iPhone Mobile Calls activated)
The only strange thing - on Yosemite I can activate mobile phone number AND email in FaceTime whereas I can activate just my email in the FaceTime app on my iPhone...

I can`t make phone calls, when I dial, my phone shows "dialing" and then "call ended" , I have tried with different numbers and it is always the same, I did already a soft reset and it doesn`t work.
What could it be???

Does this happen everywhere or only where there is a questionable signal? Try roaming:
Start > Settings > Phone > Services > Roaming > "Roaming Networks Only"
If that works better, complain to Sprint about your signal.
If that also doesn't work, you might need to hard reset your phone. Make a good backup first.

I just noticed you have the unlocked Treo Pro. I don't know whether you have this option.

Sometimes I can`t make phone calls, the phone doesn`t connect, I tried from another devices and they work just fine. What could be happening???

I did that already and still with the problem.... I can send sms, receive phone calls but I can make them, could it be an instaled program? I checked me phone settings and it seems alright...

Today, I followed the advice of a user to restart the phone using PWR + VOL UP buttons to get the smoothness back. I did just that, phone became smooth again with the phone registering on LTE network.
But what happens now? I can't connect to Mobile Data AND can't make phone calls. I can run USSD code to check my balance and can receive calls just fine but cannot make phone calls.
Any ideas? Do I need to reinstall the FW again?Model: D6503 FW: .314

My network carrier first confirmed that everything was fine at their end and that it was the handset issue (I never believe them anyway).
But afterwards it was confirmed that it was indeed an issue with the network operator and that they had fixed the issue...
