Can't make print larger

I created a book in iAuthor and exported it so I could see it on ibook. I notice the print to be quite small (I used 12 on the document) and ibook does not allow the option to enlarge the print unlike other books I can read on ibook.
Anybody have experience with this?

Tapping to enlarge images.
This action can be diabled if required.
Inspector> 1st icon from right > interaction> check or not - maximise on tap or click.
If an image is used on the page which is close to the edge - it will not enlarge of tap, if so .. check the above status or reduce the size of the image on the page.
Import images:
Use either drag and drop... if you do not have placeholder images... open a shapr of choice and resize it to suit... drag image over the shape till a blue line appears..and drop. Or.. use Insert... Bottom of teh drop down menu..Chose and navigate to an image ans select it.

How can I make swatches larger?

How can I make the swatches in the Swatches Panel larger? On my screen each swatch is only slightly larger than an ant.
Illustrator and Photoshop let you make the swatches larger from the panel's flyout menu, but I don't see that in Flash (CS5).
Is this option even available?

If you increase the width of the swatches panel, the swatches will grow to fit. It's a stupid solution because then the whole column of panels takes up more room on your screen, but that's how Flash does it.

I have a folder of images that I will burn to CD. How can I make a printed copy of those images with text to file with the CD?

You can print a contact sheet with titles in iPhoto 6. I searched the iPhoto 5 forum and found a workaround from Ken.
" Instead of Print, Contact Sheet use Share, Export, Web Page. .The "contact sheet" will be the thumbnails so be sure to select the Show title and Show comment boxes. Create a webpage, open it in your browser and print from there."
And more detailed directions from Elizabeth Kley:
"Creating Contact Sheet with Titles
1 - Put the files you want to print in an album and arrange in the order you'd like.
2 - Go to the File->Export->Web Page menu option.
3 - While in the Web page window, select the number of thumbnails you'd like across each page (iPhoto will keep you informed on how many pages it will take).
4 - Click on Show Title under thumbnails and click on Export. Then select the location where you'd like the resulting files to be saved (create a temporary folder to contain them).
5 - Once saved, go the folder and open the index.html file with your browser. You will get a page with your thumbnails and titles beneath them.
6 - Print that browser page and you've got your contact sheet with file names (or comments if desired). "

How to make print larger without blurring

On my MacBook Pro I am having problems with my print (fonts) being very small (compared to my G4 which was fine). I fixed my desktop print so that my eyes are not too stressed, however, in all my programs, incoming mail, etc. the screens are very small (as in the AOL sign-in screen), and the print is really hard to read. Changing the font size in the Mac settings does not work (too blurry) and changing the screen size is even worse. Anyone else have this problem, or is my computer strange? Thanks....Have had it 6 weeks, and I have sent it back once because the speakers had to be replaced, and hope it isnt just a lemon. Or is there a free 3rd party program which can help this problem? Several of our users have had similar complaints about the newest Powerbooks and MacBook Pros. The fact of the matter is, the screen is fairly high-resolution and not that large, thus each pixel is pretty small. This means that text is going to be small.
We have suggested decreasing the resolution, like you did, but then it does make it a little blurry.
You could turn on screen zooming by going to System Preferences, then Universal Access, and turning on Zooming.
Do you use this computer away from a desk most of the time? Many users have been happy with 20" and 23" Apple Cinema Displays, which have larger pixels.

New to Dreamweaver, so my code knowledge does not exist yet. Have Mercy!!!!
Anyway , I am making a typical product page.
I prefer that when people click the thumbnail product photo to not have to click into another brower.
Nowadays you are able to click in what is commonly called a "Quick View" that pops up and gives you a full sized
image along with product detail, and pricing. That's all I want.
How can I link this [the larger photo and product detai] to my thumbnails in Dreamweaver????
I want the look that is on every website like Target, Macy, etc.

don't understand your problem, ore hope to understand it right. You could put the images on a DW file and link to another file with the larger image and where you have written all your informations.

Why can't I print larger prints with LR3, Lion OS 10.7 using iMac and Epson 2880

Print driver is current. Can print up to 13x19 from iPhoto but not LR3 since upgrade to Lion. Upgrade done by Apple which included replacement of faulty hard drive so all is clean.

Chances are one or both the the HP applicaitons are Power PC based and OS X Lion 10.7.x does not support PPC based apps. To find out, open System Information (Command + Spacebar and type System Information) click applicaitons then wait for it to populate, when it does look in the left pane and then look in the column marked "Kind" look for any PPC based apps. What apps will run are Intel & Universal apps.

Can't make printer connection

Lost my printer connection about 10/25. Was able to get going by zapping pram and doing a disk repair. However the problem re appeared in 24 hrs. Now I find it all started with MOZY - which I have. They gave me a "fix" which included an uninstall of the present MOZY. Problem is I can't uninstall it because it won't accept my password ( administrative) - so I changed the password and I still can't get Mozy uninstalled. Believe me ,if I ever do get it uninstalled, I'll be very hesitant to reinstall Mozy - I'll find another one. So can you suggest a way to do an uninstall ?? Monty, as a workaround I understand if you Repair Permissions with Disk Utility you'll be able to Print until the next time Mozy tries to Backup, can you disable Mozy's auto backup btw?
On removeing it, Could be many things, we should start with this...

2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)

4. Select your Mac OS X volume.

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)

In the new Lion, can't make text larger in Message List

Just started using Lion. In Mail, I can enlarge the font in the message for viewing, but not in the message list on the left hand side of the creen. What am I missing?
Next question-- Mail isn't allowing me to add an acount even though that account is definitely on the other coomputer I have (iMac using Snow Leopard). Again, am I missing something?
Okay, one moe question, the icons in the sidebar in Snow Leopard are great. Anyway of getting those in Lion-- for instance-- the heart icon for the Favorites folder.

You may work at a suitable scale, then save as PDF with a custom page size and scale up when printing from Acrobat/Reader.
You only have to worry about raster images and raster effects, if any.
Raster images/effects must end up in the required resolution, so when working at a scale you must ensure that the resolution in PPI is is many times higher as you are scaling up (if you work at 1:10 the final size, the PPI must be 10 times the required value at the final size).

IPhone 6 Plus keyboard in landscape - can you make keys larger?

is it possible to remove the extra keys the iPhone Plus shows on both sides of the keyboard in landscape mode and instead have a larger keyboard with larger keys that takes up the whole screen?
I have large hands/fingers and struggle to type on small screens; hence my disappointment that the iPhone 6 Plus doesn't have larger keys than the iPhone 5 or 6. I have not been able to find a setting to change this. I have also looked at third party apps but not found anything conclusive yet.

The keyboard size cannot be changed. You could try a stylus pen.

Can not make printer work with AEBS

The printer is hooked to AEBS via USB and it is being rocognized by the printer utility, but when selecting to connect with Bonjour I get Error # 9672.
Please help.

Unfortunately, not all USB printers are compatible with AirPort base stations. Take a quick look at the iFelix Unofficial AirPort Printer Compatibility List to see if your printer is listed. If it isn't, it doesn't necessarily mean it won't work, but simply that it has not been verified. iFelix also provides the following workaround for printers not on the list that would certainly be worth a try.

I find the font size used in the tabs, headers, etc too small. Maybe I'm missing something, but I can't find a way to increase it. Also the icons for accessing Bookmarks and Home page is small and hard for me to deal with.
I do resize web pages, using Ctrl and +, that's not my problem.

This is related more to Operating System settings, ie Windows 7 in your case, as the interface is using your OS. You could change the OS settings , or even the screen resolution. A lower resolution will actually give you bigger text.
Changing one of the Firefox preferences also has that effect, I will turn on my other machine and look for the answer as to which one it is.

Firefox 23. Bookmark Icons very small. Can I make them larger?

icons on bookmark toolbar are very small and the toolbar contains about 50 icons. I only want to see the top 10 or so that i use most often. Words instead of icons would do nicely.
