Can't make tables anymore...

I have used MX for about 5 years, but I am not a power user
by any means. Just this week I was making web pages just fine.
Then, I must have hit something because I can no longer insert a
table. The button is not grayed out. It acts like something should
happen under Insert-Table, but nothing does. I am in standard view
and not layout view. I can copy a table in and modify it just fine,
I just can't put in a new table. What have I done?

What happens when you try to insert a table? Anything?
You've restarted the machine?
I'd say rename the Configuration folder for You as a User and
let dw build a
fresh one.

Can you make table width editable in a template

I am new to html and am trying to use a template to create a
site that will eventually have 10-12 pages. All of the pages will
have the same basic design, but some need 1 main body section and
some need 2 (1 main and 1 smaller off to the side). After doing 4
pages, I realized I could use a template so I wouldn't have to
re-enter all the links in the nav bar, etc., but if I do a page
with just one main section, I would like that section to be wider.
The template will not allow me to adjust the table. Is there a way
to make the table width editable/adjustable? Thanks for any help
you can give me... I'm sure to have many more questions once this
gets solved!

Well, it's OK, but I'm not sure where you want to go with
this. I'm not
crazy about how you have used the CSS - there are things
there that I think
are unnecessary....

in Jdev 11g by default search results are displayed in form type when we create query, is there any way we can make it table type so that i can see more than one record.

can you be more specific? If you mean af:query where you want to define search criteria and see the result in table, you can create view criteria for view object in query tab and drag&drop this from data control palette as named criteria to .jspx as query with table

Can't make Table that will accept letters - default entry is numbers

Hey folks, I'm a relative newbie to Numbers and I'm tearing my hair out trying to find answers to a simple question (which isn't helped by Apple's idiotic, IMO, insistence on calling its programs simple words that yield 650 bazillion results in Google...and you then have to sift through about a billion pages of unrelated information).
How in **** do you enter data into a Table that isn't number-based?! I can't find any way to set the cells in 'Sheet 1' to 'text' data entry (as opposed to numbers). When I click over to the Table in question, the only keyboard that pops up contains numbers. (The Help file is useless - it only talks about entering numbers in the Table you've created. I know this is possible b/c somehow I set up another Spreadsheet that would take Text entry in the Table. I can't for the life of me remember how I did it and I can't find a way to simply copy that Spreadsheet, then delete all the info, and re-use it.)
When I enter letters into cells in the spreadsheet itself, they then show up just fine in the Table - but then the next record defaults right back to the numbers-only keyboard. Again, the only mention in Help is how you can enter text in Sheet 1, not in a Table.

tap the table once to activate it
tap teh grey bar above th column you want to be text only.
Tap the "i" button
tap Format
Tap text
On ocassion I have had to format as number, then back to text to make it "take".
btw, when "googling" for items like Numbers, use "iwork Numbers", or include the word "Apple" in the search. this will usually bring you back far more relevant results.
For duplicating an existing file, go back to the main spreadsheet list, and click the "plus" button while your spreadsheet is directly above it. This will give you the option to make a new spreadsheet from a template (including blank) or duplicate the workbook above. I do beleive this is in the help file.

Can't format tables anymore in a CSS layout

Why can't I insert a regular table, and be able to select a
cell, row, column, whatever, and change the cell color like I did
before CSS? If I have a DIV, I'm supposed to be able to insert
regular html content inside it, right?
I have a DIV with a red background color set. I insert a
small table for some data, and the table punches a hole
(figuratively speaking) in the red background. Okay, I try to color
the table background cells red, and it doesn't matter. I then setup
a style sheet (class) just for that one table, and give it a red
background, and again, no go.
I'm about ready to abandan CSS for layout, I really am. There
are no declarations in my body tags or anywhere else that says what
to do with a table.
What do I have to do to be able to color cells and format a
table like non-css pages? I have many legacy sites with charts and
data in regular tables (I'm not talking about for layout, but for
regular tabular data), and when I try to copy and paste these into
a new page, the table and data comes, but all the coloring is gone.
This seems very dumb. Any insights?

Copy and paste the following into a new DW page - you will
see that you can
have coloured cells and or rows. At least that's what I
believe you are
trying to do.

In the menu painter for the screen containing the table control....drag the boundaries of the table to fit the visible boundary marked..if we are calling table control using a sub screen area ..then the subscreen area in the main screen needs to be enlarged as per requirements...

how can I make that the cursor of a table (on the frontpanel) go to the starting position? I have placed a table that give back the number of the row if I doubleclick a row on the frontpanel, but when I restart the vi the cursor of the table is on this position. If I have many informations in the table and after restarting there are just one or two, I can`t see this information without scrolling to the top of the table. I want that the cursor (that I see) is at the first row. How can I make it?

Your problem isn't the archive table! I tried to remove the 2 selects from the select-clause. Furthermore you have a lot of nested loops in your explain, which is a performance-killer. Try getting rid of them, perhaps use /*+ USE_HASH(?,?) */.

How can i make a CHECK in an ALTER table, to compare 2 Variables of TWO different tab

I have 3 tables:
EVALUATION (No_expert, No_article)
EXPERT (No_expert, origine, name)
AUTHOR_ARTICLE (No_Article, Code_author)
AUTHOR (Code_author, Name, Original)
and my question is: How can i make a check to refuse each time an EXPERT ADDED to the EVALUATION table. If this one is an AUTHOR, in other words, the EVALUATION.No_expert must <> than AUTHOR.Code_author.
This is what i did but it doesn't work:

Can you make a table in one section directly mimic the table in another?

I have a file in pages I am trying to create to make three separate documents at once. I have a check out sheet, an invoice, and a rental agreement. I want to have an entire table duplicated from the check out sheet to the invoice, but the table will always have a different number of rows. Is there a way to make a flexible table that follows the size of another one?
