Can't manage site in Portal site, unavailable under Manage. site

I'm trying to setup continuous integration on a new azure website instance, but it won't let me.
If I try to do it on the manage.windowsazure site, it shows a red exclamation next to Web Apps and won't let me access any of them from there.
It also won't let me change the service plan level; because of this, I deleted the sites I had in hopes of deleting the service plan and creating a new one. Well, I was able to create the new service plan, but it won't let me get rid of the intial so now
there are two. It seems like there are multiple things going on with the portal site currently. I suppose situations like this explain why we need to get a support contract, but these aren't cases where we broke something, so it's frustrating to have to pay
an extra fee just to tell you that the system isn't working.
Any thoughts?

1. When you say that you are not able to create the web apps, is it just with the web apps or other compute instances as well?
I did try to reproduce your scenario and see that I was able to access the websites for continuous deployment from there. I request you to try again and if you continue to have this issue, I request you to send me the name of your website to v-irhuss at
Microsoft dot com
And about not being able to delete the Web hosting plan, please ensure that you don't have any other deployments under the web hosting plan before you delete it. If still fails, we will look into this, please send me the name of your website.

    I have enabled Java (version 7/21) in Safari/Chrome and Firefox but still can't access sites - they report a "missing Plugin"
    I managed in the past.  What is happening?  any ideas?

    Java is probably not the plugin that is missing. Those sites probably require Flash, which is not installed by default. You can install Flash by downloading it from here:

    As for Java, note that  you really shouldn't have that enabled in your web browser these days. See:

  • Firefox gives "content encoding error" for multiple sites (mostly forums), however, wget can open those sites just fine

    I am working under a corporate proxy server, so this might influence the problem. From home i can access the sites just fine. From here - it gives "content encoding error" on different kinds of forums. For example, http://www.freeallegiance.org/forums/index.php?act=home
    I tried to download wget and could download the website htm file just fine!

    I also have this problem. I believe it is caused by being connected through a proxy which is adding a second compression to the data. (I think IF uses gzip compression already).
    Added details:
    * Opera also works.
    * I can view the IF admin section on FF
    * I can view the forum if I go through a web proxy.

    Two days ago two forums I regularly use stopped working properly. One of them is www.mobileread.com, and the main problem is with marking the forums read. The staff there suggested that I check that Javascript is enabled. It is, but the problem remains.
    The other site just looks as though there is no styling on the index page; it just shows a list of links.
    I can use both sites with Google Chrome just as I did before, so it has to be a problem with Firefox.
    There are many other sites I visit, and I have not had the same problem there.

    For the one with a styling problem, see what you have for View > Page Style
    the normal style is default and "No Style" would wipe out styling but in this area it would apply to all pages.
    I don't know of an extension that would selectively turn page styling or off, but look at your extensions.
    Both problems could be caused by filters added to "Adblock Plus" extension.
    Bring up "Open blockable items [Ctrl+Shift+V]" in ADP by right-clicking on the toolbar/addons bar icon or in the add-on's options. See what is being blocked and the filter that is blocking it. You can easily test filters there and turn them on/off and retest. You can see the filter that is blocking an item, you can use the mouse to see where that filter came from. Choices of what columns to display can be made with the little icon to the right of the column headings in the list.
    Attached is a picture of blockable items I see for the www.mobileread.com page. To view a page that you need to view or use, you can try modifying your filters or toggling the "State" column (preferred). You can disable Adblock Plus from the extensions options but that defeats the protection it offers.
    If seems that the problem would be an extension, or a style, or theme.

    After some regular updates I can open a site from bookmarks only by right-clicking on it and "open in a new tab". Have this problem also on my PC and a notebook. (Win 7 & Win 8). Didn't add any new add-ons lately, seems like they all work well.

    There is no equivalent in Firefox. You can use the [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3145/ BlockSite] extension to add a similar feature.
    If the junk sites are coming up whilst you are browsing, this may be caused by malware. You should consider scanning your computer with some malware programs. It is best to run several as each will pick up things that the others miss. Some scanners you can try are:

    Hi everybody. I recently finished creating an iWeb site for a friend while using my MobileMe account. What's the best way to transfer this site to his MobileMe account (so his username, etc. shows up in the url; not mine). I'd like to avoid having to rebuild the entire site while using his version of iWeb/MobileMe.
    Am I in trouble or is there a solution?

    Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Will your friend be maintaining the site once it's published to his MobileMe account? If so just copy the domain.sites2 file containing his site to his computer and put it in his User/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder. Once he logs into his MobileMe account via the System/MobileMe preference pane he can make changes and published them to his account.
    If you also have a site in that same domain file, duplicate that file, open it with iWeb and delete your site before transferring it to your friend's Mac. Then delete his site from your domain file leaving just your own site. You can delete his site from your MMe account by mounting your iDisk, going to the iDisk/Web/Site folder and deleting the folder that has his site's name.

    So it turns out that SharePoint Designer is the only way to accomplish this. You have to go into the page in Designer, edit the page, and select the Insert tab from the ribbon -> New Item Form -> select "CUSTOM LIST FORM..." (not one of the pre-populated
    lists or you will get the barebones default content type!) -> Choose the list for the form you want to show and the content type, click OK -> Save the page in SP Designer and it will now show on the page embedded as a form. Success!

    Does this happen only with certain websites? If so, you may have a DNS issue.
    You can find a good guide for changing your DNS at the link below. When you type a name into your address bar like Google.com... that goes out to a DNS server which then translates it to an actual address that can get you there. For example, if you wanted to mail something to your mother, you couldn't just put "Mom" on the envelope, you would have to put the actual address there. Open DNS is one of the most common DNS servers to use. Follow the guide below... EXCEPT... in the very last part where you enter the two DNS addresses, use 208.67.222.222 & 208.667.220.220 instead:
