Can't modify/delete/replace dwg files

I'm having a really odd problem with our 10.5.8 server:
In a share point we have a ACL with owner&group allow r&w permissions inherited to the whole subfolder. So we all should be able to add, delete and modfy files we create together; and that's what the permission inspector tells too.
But:
Everything works like it's supposed to except with .dwg files. We can read dwg files, but we can't overwrite or delete existing ones. When trying to overwrite a file from a program, it just tells it can't save it. In Finder if I try to replace or delete a dwg, Finder tells it's being used. But they aren't.
So what kind of process there can be running that's keeping all our dwg files locked?

Are you trying to delete files from your Time Machine backup? Don't do that!! If you have files/photos you wish to delete then delete them from iPhoto or whatever photo application you are using. They will be removed from the backup by the TimeMachine backup system. Your backup is not a simple file it is a time/event dependent organizational picture of your system sort of like a multilayered transparent collage, but if you start pulling random pieces out it will collapse the file system. Can't modify/delete Outlook 2010 Contact Group

I've got a user who created a new Contact Group in Outlook 2010 and now can't modify or delete the group. Other groups she's created before or since do not exhibit this behavior. Also, when you bring up the properties of the group, the window
looks different than the other groups and the icon in the top left of the window just has the card with no people in front of it.

Why can't I delete simple photo files even with admin access?

I'm cleaning my Time Capsule HD deleting some photo files. Most of them were just moved to trash, but when I try to move a specific folder, the OS asks my password saying that Finder wants to make changes. After typing in my password I receive a message that I don't have permission to access some of the items. It dosn't make any sense since I, same account tring to delete them, have copied these files into that folder.
I really appreciate any support.

You may want to look into getting Xtools ps-scripts - Browse Files at SourceForge.net then. Most of the support is for ActionManager script code where XML code is use as an intermediate step. There are quite a few Photoshop script in XTools . Why can't I delete this video file from my trash can?

I have a video file that I will not disappear from my trash can when I click the "empty track" button. I managed to move the folder containing the video file from documents to the trash after a lot of effort, but it kept telling me that I didn't have the privileges necessary to delete the video permanently. Now the video file is sitting inside a folder inside the trash can where I can't move anywhere else. If I try to move it anywhere else, it simply copys to that folder but stays inside the original stays in the trash can as well, but I can still delete the copy and the original stays sitting in the trash can. Can anyone help me so I can get rid of this file once and for all.

How can I convert and replace SDII files to WAV files in a song?

I have to convert some audiofiles in a song from 16 to 24 bit and from SDII to WAV. I choose the option "Copy/convert files" in the audio window and everything is converted well.
In my audio window I have now 16 and 24 bit files and WAV and SDII files.
But how can I replace those new files in my song?
On logic 6.4.3 I could after "Copy/convert files" choose the option "Change file reference(s) in the song to the audiofile(s) that have been copied", but in my new Logic 7.1.1 I don't have that possibility anymore.
What am I'm doing wrong? I'm copying my new audio in new folders.

Pages '09 flat files can't be deleted but package files can

Hi all
If I save Pages '09 files in their default 'flat' format, then I can't delete them (empty trash command says files still in use, even if computer restarted and Pages closed), but if I save files as '09 packages, they are easy to delete. Anyone else come across this, or got an explanation?

Thanks to people for suggestions. Oddly, I've found a very simple solution... if I leave the items in the Trash for a few minutes, sooner or later they become deletable (possibly helped if the computer not doing anything else). Other files are deletable from the moment they hit the trash can, so there's still something different about the pages files. I wonder if another app or process finds it hard to let them go, or some odd thing like that. So it's turning into a minor oddity/ quirk rather than major problem. I'm still a bit puzzled, but I can live with the current level of weirdness (unless it gets worse...!)

So I was about to export this song I just edited (it came out PERFECT) but when I tried to export via mail, it said I did not have space. So I started to delete other songs and I forgot to uncheck the song i wanted to export and now it got deleted along with the others. Is there a way to undo deleting a file? I am really feeling down because it has my singer's vocals and we worked days on it ! please help!

Only if you had made a backup of your iPad before you started to delete projects. Then you could restore the iPad from your most recent backup. Other than that, deleting is final.

Can't creat PDF from .DWG file

Using the world's most popular CAD program. Can't create a PDF from Adobe 3D. Apparently Adobe 3D wants to open the file using my AutoCAD, but thinks AutoCAD is not on my computer???

Didn't find it here, but found the answer by Googling and getting pointed to an AECBytes article from Feb '06, which had updated Revit 3D Capture settings (settings more updated than what Adobe gives you!).
It's too bad the rotation tool is so unweildy and that the walkthru isn't right there with rotation, pan & zoom (crazy - no idea why that is). I need these to work in Reader for regular people, not computer/cad savvy types. Adobe 3D seems to have just great potential, but doesn't seem ready for prime-time yet on the PDF recipient end yet. Maybe version 8 is more polished/joe-regular-user friendly (which is what it's billed as if it's for use in Reader.

For the forums it seems IE 11 isn't compatible with the cloud website.
You can get access to the router using other browsers or IE versions by disconnecting the ISP device from the internet port on the router and opening http://192.168.1.1
I don't recommend using software to configure your router or the cloud. Just my opinion
I like the classic firmware anyway.

How can I modify the "All My files" search criteria?

Heres my issue: I LOVE the new "All My Files" feature in 10.7... however.. I would like to limit some of the search criteria (which I know goes against its purpose to some degree)... "All My Files" shows every file by kind on my computer, unfortunately it also shows erroneous files in the /Developer folder that I do not care about at all nor are they "mine".
So I have noticed that I can "edit" the "All My Files" property and that it simply seems to be a "saved search" that they put into the Finder side bar... but how do I then say dont include this folder?

Finder > Preferences > Sidebar
Put a checkmark in the box beside "All My Files".
