Can't move tabs in FF 22.0 or emails in TB 17.07.

For reasons I can not determine I am no longer able to drag and drop tabs in firefox or drag emails from my inbox to another folder in Thunderbird. I have restarted both, I have tried safemode with no success. This behavior started about 5 days ago (around July 18th/2013). I have gone through the support sites and forums and have not been able to find a solution that works. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

To Reset Firefox do the following:
#Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
#Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
#Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
#Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

If third-party software called "Air Display" or "AirParrot" is installed, remove it according to the developer's instructions, then restart the computer. Back up all data before making any changes.

Can't move tab to new window (tabs are locked) or open new window

I have updated Firefox to 28.0 and I am still having the issue with not being able to move tabs to individual windows, open individual windows or click on a web link to open a new window. If I right click on the link it will open in the window as a new tab but will not open as an new window. Can someone tell me if there is a lock on tabs/windows that freezes them? Please help.

Thank you for the input - unfortunately this did not change anything. I removed all extensions and even reloaded Firefox after cleaning out all the hidden files and I still experience the same. I can hit the [+] and get a new page but I cannot open a link in an email unless I right click and open to a new tab - although it will not allow you to open to a new window. you cannot grab a window that is open and pull it so that it is it's own separate window. I have tried this using a different application and it does work without any issue. I do not want to use this application because I like using Firefox -- any suggestions would be appreciated. Just do not know what to do to fix this.

Before moving to Firefox 8, I could drag and drop tabs within the tab bar to reorder them, which was very convenient. Since installing the first beta of Firefox 8, the tabs don't move. How can I move all my contacts into a single email group from all the other group?

I've got several email accounts, but my contacts are spread across them. Of course, when I access or search my contacts they do all get searched together, but I need to delete an account and this will result in me losing many contacts.
So before I do this, I want to consolidate all my contacts into my main personal email group account. But short of doing them one by one, I can't find a way and I have several thousand contacts at risk of being lost.
Can anyone advise me?

Go to your Contacts on your Mac - if more than one pick the most accurate; delete any contacts you don't want. Select all the contacts, and from the File menu choose 'Export...'>'Export vCard'. Save the resultant file safely: it will be your 'master' list.
Now delete all the contacts from whichever device has the most in it. Sync with iCloud. If necessary repeat with different Macs. The result should be that the deletions sync to iCloud and in the end you finish up with empty Contacts lists everywhere.
Now you can import your saved file to one of your Macs. Make sure you import it under 'iCloud' not 'On My Mac'. Then it should propagate iCloud and any other devices. Keep the saved file at least until you are satisfied that all is in order.

Im just guessing but it seems like you would have to get your movie into the correct folder on a computer then use iTunes to sync it to your iPad. If you've synced to a computer and have movies then on your computer should be a folder with the movie in it. You could export your iMovie to something like Dropbox then download from Dropbox to the folder you think it needs to be in the sync your iPad again. Again this is just a guess. Others may have a better answer.

Thank you for your response -- It seems the "classic theme restorer" add-on is the problem. With that enabled I cannot move tabs. With it disabled I can. I've used that add-on for years without issue on Mac and PC. The PC is still fine, just the Mac is problematic since the FF update about a week ago.
So I guess that's the answer unless anyone knows of some other trick or setting to change so FF is able to have tabs below the address bar AND be able to move tabs left to right within the same browser window!

iDVD does not care about file sizes, as it compresses the file to the standard DVD format of mpeg2.
It only cares about length i.e. max 2 hours including titles etc.

and i selected my device in itunes.....
when i click on the movies tab i can only "see" one movie listed.
but can "see" two when i look at the list of items on my device under rental

Can I move the tabs further down the screen as in V3

Open tabs are now at the top of the screen in V4 rather than further down in 3.16.6. This is a nuisance for me as I have a dell status bar at the top of the screen which keeps popping up every time I try to go to one of the opened tabs. Can I move the live tabs down screen at all?
Also where is the quick click for home page?
