Can't open adobe files online

I just bought a new macbook pro.  Trying to open adobe reader files online and I keep getting a message saying, Launch adobe and agree to license.  I have tried to download adobe and have taken the same steps on as the adobe website recommends.  Any ideas?

Have you tried what the message suggests: open Adobe Reader by itself and agree to the EULA?

I can not open adobe files that end in .doc. I purchased the 19.99 to convert doc to pdf and I still cant open. I get an error reading.

    Hi,
Which Adobe Service did you purchased?
If you have purchased CreatePDF please visit: https://createpdf.acrobat.com/SignIn.html
Sign in with your Adobe ID and password, and then convert your word doc into PDF.
Please let me know if that works.
If you have Adobe Reader, you cannot convert .doc file to .PDF by drag and drop.

  • Help - Can't open Adobe files, after expiration of Adobe pro free trial

I had a 30-day free trial of Acrobat 11 Pro, since the free trial expired a few days ago I can't open Adobe files. When I try to open them a pop-up box appears telling me to buy Acrobat 11 Pro...when I decline, it automatically closes Adobe
I want to read files with just basic Adobe reader (not Acrobat 11 Pro) and I don't know how to make it my default
Do I need to purge Acrobat 11 Pro? (I'm using Microsoft OS)
    Thanks!

Use the Adobe Cleaner to remove Acrobat and Reader COMPLETELY: http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html
Download the offline Installer to reinstall Reader: http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

  • I can't open Adobe files and keep getting this message: "Adobe failed to connect to the DDE server" - anyone got a fix for this? I'm Windows 7, 64bit running Office 2010 Pro Plus - anyone got a fix for this?

Forgot to mention I'm using Firefox V.4

    Hey Jorge,
I've checked Reader, and there are no updates. I've run a Windows version compatibility test - although it only goes up to Vista, and not Windows 7.
Anyway, it appears I can now open Adobe files - but I've found another issue: when I right-click on a file and scroll down to the 'send to email recipient', it doesn't automatically open an Outlook email with the file as an attachment - in fact it doesn't open Outlook at all, let alone automatically?
    Any clues?

  • Please Help!  Can't open pdf files online.

Several days ago I attempted to update my Adobe Reader.  I'm using a MacBook with OS 10.9.3.  I have a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo.  After installing I received an error which says "internal error occurred"  After reading LOTS of websites, I finally used my Time Machine and reloaded the old adobe version.  It works to open pdf files on my computer, however, when I go to websites, it says that I have to accept the adobe legal agreement before the pdf is opened.  So many webpages are locked because I can't figure out where to accept these permissions.  Firefox will open these same web pages, but the screen is filled with distorted writing, all which basically curses adobe.  I believe your software has a virus and I wonder if you've found a fix.  Please help!

    Hello Pat,
Thank you for your reply, however, when I launch the older Adobe Reader application, it simply opens and does not ask for me to accept the agreement.  When I launch the newer Adobe Reader, I receive an internal error message and then the reader crashes.  I have attempted to re-load the new reader many times, I've deleted all of my old Adobe files including the files located under LIbrary/....  For many days I wasn't even able to open PDF files which are saved on my hard drive.  Using Apple's Time Machine, I was able to restore an older version of Adobe Reader which I can use to open files on my hard drive.  However, with the old reader and with the new reader, I still cannot open files on the internet - many web pages have items that I wish to open (spec sheets for example).  I have to send the links via email to myself and open them on another computer (extremely inefficient and time consuming).
I decided to try using Firefox and what I noticed is that when I try to weblinks that are PDF files, they open with distorted lines of text.  When you read the lines of text, there are broken sentences that say odd things (some profanity) that are directed at Adobe.  I won't repeat the lines here.  If someone from Adobe would please contact me directly (you should have my email information), I would greatly appreciate it.  It's obvious that there is a virus in your software.
I need help ASAP because my computer is my business computer and I'm really at a halt.  I need to have access to spec sheets which I can no longer open - or even download.  Buying a new computer to fix my Adobe Reader is not an option.
    Please help.

  • I can't open adobe files in firefox 4 Beta.

When I try to open an adobe file on a webpage, I get the following error message: The Adobe Acrobat/Reader that is running cannot be used to view PDF files in a web browser.
This started when I installed the Firefox 4 Beta.

Your System Details show that you do not have the Adobe Reader Plugin.
Make sure Adobe Reader/Acrobat is installed. If you are sure that it is installed,
    I recommend -
    1. Open Adobe Reader/Adobe Acrobat.
    2. Click Help Menu and select Repair Adobe Reader\Repair Adobe Acrobat.

Hi,  I'm very new to this and haven't gone through all the history so maybe someone could point me in the right direction.  I'm on latest Windows version but can't seem to open any pdf files through websites.  I keep getting the message Internet Explorer Stopped Working and then it crashes out.  Only way I can open them is to right click, and save target as to desktop.  I un-installed Acrobat but doesn't seem to have made much difference.  I have Adobe Reader 9 installed.  Anyone with ideas much appreciated!!  Cheers sguse.

  • Adobe Reader XI - Can't open PDF files

My mother has Adobe Reader XI installed on her laptop and still can't open PDF files. We've tried uninstalling and installing several different versions and nothing seems to work. Can someone please help? Thank you.

It's when she tries to open things that she gets online - like credit card statements, etc. It's also stuff that she gets emailed to her as a PDF attachment. It'll look like the document is going to open, but then she gets the following error message in a pop-up window:
There is a problem with Adobe Acrobat/Reader. If it is running, please exit and try. (103:103).

Hi.  I have a Dell PC running Windows 7 64 bit.  I have the latest version of Adobe Reader,  It worked yesterday.  Today I have job training to do that is due tomorrow morning and I can't open PDF files.  I have to open a guide and read it and take a test tomorrow.  I have deleted and reinstalled the application.  I have rebooted.  I have made sure my PDF's are associated with the program.  Every PDF on my computer won't open and I get the same error message.  It simply says Attempt to access invalid address.  How can I fix this?  Thanks.

    Hi Don,
I have seen this issue fixed for some users by modifying the following registry key:
The key is "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management" MoveImages
Set the key to 1 instead of 0 then reboot the machine.
In case you still face the issue try the following registry key change:
The only thing you have to do is rename the following key at the REGEDIT, and everything will be fine !!
    BEFORE:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\iexplore.exe
    AFTER:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\iexplore.old
Note: Please take a backup of the registry before attempting this change.
    Regards,
    Rave
