Can't open another window in firefox and add-on icons won't show

I had to do a system restore after downloading malware which avast stopped from activating. I downloaded Spybot and scanned/fixed various things it had identified but then my laptop wouldn't start in anything but safe mode. After I did the system restore, the malware and Spybot were gone, but Firefox crashed every time I tried to open it, so I had to use Internet Explorer to get online and download Firefox. Since then I have 2 problems: Firefox will only open in one window (it will let me open multiple tabs but only in one window) and my add-on icons (the Personas fox, the Greasemonkey monkey, the Boost for facebook infinity symbol, etc) won't appear on the bottom toolbar or browser bar as they always have, nor are they in the Tools drop-down menu as they always were. I can't get into Personas favorites at all either, despite having reinstalled the Personas Plus account twice. I assume that something causing these things happened when I did the system restore, as anything Spybot "fixed" should have been undone by the system restore? I have Vista 32-bit on a Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop. Please help!

So the build that you downloaded for CentOS 6.4, where did you download it from?
There are some versions of Firefox that may have been compiled by third party providers for specific Linux builds. Mozilla does not host these builds. [[Install Firefox on Linux]] is the reference to the official code for Linux.

I recently upgraded to 8.0.1. I am running Windows Vista.
I can only have one window open. I can openmultiple tabs within that one window.

I can not open multipule windows of firefox, I cannot open a website from an email.

I use to be able to have several windows open and since the most recent update, I cannot. after I have one window open, if I close it I have to restart my computer in order to open the browser again.

Wow, that sounds very odd indeed! What happens if you press Ctrl+N on your keyboard? Normally you should see a new Firefox window. If nothing happens when you do that, something is definitely wrong with your Firefox.
My advice would be to start Firefox in Safe Mode to see if the problem exists there as well. This article has all the details: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]]
If all else fails, here's a method that will almost surely fix the issue: [[Reset Firefox – easily fix most problems]]

Upgraded to Windows Vista computer and now my ipod won't show videos/pics

I recently bought a new computer. Around the same time my ipod broke and I got a brand new one. Everything works on it except the videos and I can't sync any pics. The videos will show up in my recently added list, with the little tv pic but if click on it, I only get audio. The same thing happens under the recently added in my video playlist. However none of the videos, podcasts, or movies show up under their respective menus. All software is up to date, and all of the equipmnt is new. I'm at a loss. Please help.

I cannot re-open Firefox, or open another window, without rebooting

I get a message indicating that Firefox is already operating and to either close the program or reboot. I cannot access the supposedly open program, nor can I open another window. I am using Windows 7. The problem repeats itself even after rebooting.

Normally, if the songs showed that it is purchased then it is probably already in your library. If not check out the article below to walk you through downloading your past purchases. You may also want to check to see if you have Automatic Downloads turned on so that way next time you can get your tracks without having to plug in and sync.

In these situations, I have been forced to go to IE or Crome in order to accomplish what I need to do. Very frustrating. Also clicking in the slider area has no effect.
