Can't open any videos from the web

Hi! I can't open youtube, IMDB or dailymoyion in my MacBook Air, all of a sudden. I am using MAC OSX v. 10.6.8. Can anyone help me? I tried every answer available on the internet...

Safari version?
1. System Preferences > Flash Player > Advanced > Delete All
     Press the "Delete All" button
     Install Adobe Flash Player.

   Download it first. Click Safari in the menubar and select “Quit Safari”.
    Follow the prompts and install it.
    Restart computer. Relaunch Safari.
2. Allow Plug-ins
    Safari > Preferences > Security
    Plug ins
    Enable it
or
    Internet Plug-ins > "Allow plug-ins"
    Enable it.
3. Safari > Preferences > Privacy
    Press the button “ Remove All Website Data”.

Well, strange issue. Maybe its something wrong with the CD rom?
The best idea is to recover this unit with the delivered Recovery CD but firstly you can try to remove the CD rom device from the Device Manager. After OS booting the drive will be recognized again. If the problem persists after this procedure I would recommend to recover the unit.

I can't hear any sound from the web

I can't hear any sound from any flash website, or music players on myspace, and youtube.com etc... I think its a flash problem. It worked a few days ago. Is it a problem with my browser? With Flash? A virus?
I tried the web browser's preferences and system preferences. I got the latest version of flash player. Is there anything else?

Can't see any video from Apple Web Site and some others, MacBook Air 13"

i need help, i cant see the videos on the apple website and some others. I can hear the sound of the video but the video seems all black nd i cant see it. I was watching some other videos that needed a program called DivX, i first thought it was because of that but then i unistalled it but it still doesnt work. Hope anyone can help me

I had the same problem... very simple to solve...
With Safari open, click "SAFARI" on the top bar, scroll down and click "PREFERENCES"...
With Preferences open, mouse over to "EXTENSIONS" and click to move the slider to turn off extensions created by third-party developers...
That's all I did and when I tried to open the videos on Apple's site everything worked normally again...

How can i open pdf files from the web without saving them

when i want to see a web based pdf file i have to save it before opening it instead of it just opening in a pdf window.

You can't.
Those PDFs are only accessible on the Mac.
They can not even be accessed by iOS.

Can't share any videos from the app

There is no way to share a personal video in any app, unless another app let you do that task.

What has this to do with Adobe? You're looking in the wrong place. Browser plug-ins/ extensions are handled by the respective routines in the browsers themselves...

I had the same problem.. they cure was to back up all data and 3rd party applications FIRST!
then i did a System wipe and reinstalled everything.. now i can watch all video from sites such as youtube etc without a hitch.
it is extreme but it was the only thing that worked for me.. there is information out there on backing up the 3rd party apps using BB manager/desktop

There are a variety of file formats for storing and sending video. You will probably want to install VLC, which handles most open formats. RealPlayer is used on their proprietary format.

It should be around 7 and a half gigs. In iTunes, across the bottom there should be a bar that show how much storage is being used and by what. (music, movies, apps, etc.) To make music take up less room, you can check the box to make it convert the music to 128kbps AAC. This lowers the quality, but with most earbuds and speakers, you can't even tell the difference.
The iPod touch has parental controls built in. You'll find them in Settings. I think they only work for enabling/disabling Safari, Mail, YouTube, and App Store. Here's an app that does more: http://www.mobicip.com/online_safety/ipod_touch

I can't play certain videos from the internet on my macbook.
When using Sarfari or Google Chome, I am unable to play some videos on the internet. News clips, posted videos on blogs, and tv episodes from their own network websites. Youtube videos are fine. I doesn't make sense.
I tried downloading an update for quicktime, but the computer claims that quicktime is up to date. Yet, the videos and tv episodes don't play.
I have checked for the most recent software updates, and everything is up to date. Nothing is wrong with the hardware either.
Any suggestions would be awesome! Thank you!

In addition to Flash, you might need some other plugins. Microsoft videos are mostly in Silverlight, and you'll want Flip4Mac to play WMVs. Perian contains codecs for pretty much every video online.

After a brief bit of research, you're definitely hitting upon the limitation of the browsers. Not all of the browsers have implemented this part of the HTML5 standard, so you're going to either have to use Flash or be limited to these specific browsers.
