Can't Open Attachment from an e-mails

Hi,
I can't seem to open a PPT attachment from an e-mail. When I click on the attachment, I see a download indicator but there is no progress. It just doesn't download. Can someone please help?

Did you happen to install anything else, or make any other changes to your system. I'm flummoxed how signing up for an online service could affect file associations. i tried to make a e-Mail newsletter. My result looks very good on Outlook, Android, Thunderbird and Apple Mail.
On my e-mail there are an image with includes a link. In other e-mail clients (Outlook, mail, etc.) everything looks great.
But on my iPhone .. I try to "click" on that image and the link didn't open in safari. When I visit my newsletter in safari, everything works.
Why doesn't my iPhone or Mail open clickable images (URL)?

I have a Java program sending an email with attached file. It works fine for all the files without any extension. If I attach a file with .java exetension, I can not open file from Out Look and get "Access Denied Message"

I just tried sending a .java file with a class I wrote using JavaMail 1.2 and Outlook didn't have a problem with me opening the file.

Can you save them ? What are the file formats (after .) of the attachments. Depending the file formats, you need software to be able to open them (most of them are free).

I can no longer attach aperture files to mail messages. Why?

Before the last aperture upgrade I was always able to select an image in my library and use the share command to attach that image to my mac mail message. Now the email opens but no photo is attached. it is a blank message. I know there is an icon in the right hand corner to access aperture files but this is not as convenient on large libraries.
Is this a bug?

Yes, I have always done as you have shown:
"File→Share→Email", "right-click→Output→Email", and "{Option}+e" all create a new mail message with the selected Image(s) attached after being exported using the Image Export Preset specified in "Aperture→Preferences→Export".
But for some reason after Idid the lastest aperture update a couple weeks ago (and I am still using snow leopard), I now cannot get files to show up in my messages.
I can attach files while I am in macmail.And I can drag files from my desktop, but I can no longer get files by doing the file>share>email navigation through Aperture.
Anyone else have this problem?

Can't open files from iCloud Drive on Mac

Hi,
Can't open file from iCloud Drive on my MacBook Air (OS X 10.10.1).
I created new file (in Numbers for example). Then Numbers->File->Open->iCloud Drive->my_file.numbers and it says "Can't open file my_file.numbers".
I can preview the file by pressing Space, but openning from application and double-click on it doesn't work.
Files that were created earlear also not opened.
Does anybody know how to solve this problem? thanks.

I have spoken to apple support this afternoon and we tried the variations shown above.
Support told me to wait for a day and try again!
After the iCloud authentication problem last night I changed all my passwords I wonder if there is an SMTP problem at me.com perhaps not reading the updated passwords?
I'll try and use the old passwords later.

A few days ago I tried to e-mail a friend, when I started A box came up and it required me to add a plugin..Java. I contacted my e-mail courier and microsoft, they told me that is was a plugin from Mozilla Firefox. Since then I must go through Java to send or open an e-mail... this is NOT to my satisfaction, it takes too long for all of this to open and if it is not cleared , I am dropping Mozilla and going elsewhere. Why has this occurred? Is this a result of the last update? If so can I delete the last update and continue on the other version?

It might be helpful for us if we knew exactly which web-mail provider you are using. It seems strange to me that viewing or sending web-mail would actually "need" Java for operation, its more likely that some other item on the web page needs Java to run some advertising or other garbage that isn't a necessary part of the web-mail functionality you want to use.

If you are not able to open links from email messages on your iPhone, first force the mail application you're using to close with these steps:
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app's preview up to close it.

OTM can not open attachment with Word Document(*.docx)

With more and more use of Word Document(*.docx) (version 2007). OTM (Oracle Test Manager) can create an attachment with it, but can not open attachment with Word Document(*.docx). Is this a problem for anyone else? Any wok around?

I am using OTM version 9.2 and the Word document (*.docx) attachment can be opened in this.
For being able to open a docx file, try to attach an word document from the file option in the Requirements, Test or Issue tabs in OTM , once you upload the file, please check if location is " in Database" Else click update DB and upload the document.
Once the attachment is attached to the Attachment section in the right pane, clicking on the attachment will open the *.docx document.
This has worked for me.
