Can't open Blackberry software

went from a curve to a torch so i downloaded the the newest desktop software. everytime i try to open though i get one of those MS error msgs " encountered a problem and needs to close" and then it asks to send an error report.

In order to use the BlackBerry Desktop Software on a Mac computer, you need OSX 10.6 or later.
As for the latest software version, your mobile carrier decides what versions they will release to support. You can check your mobile carrier's download site here for the latest available version.

Laserjet p1102w- can't open HP software for ePrinting

I just bought the P1102w & had no trouble connecting it to my IMac (running OS 10.8.5) and using that connection for printing. However, when I tried to get the ePrint software from HP, problems arose. I received HP_P1100_P1560_P1600_FW_Update but when I tried to open it and install it I repeatedly got this error message, "HP Firmware Upgrade Utility can't be opened. You should eject the disk image". This persists even after restarting my computer. I have multiple computers at several locations and need to be able to print via ePrint. What should I do?

If the same appears for both of the links above, try respiring the disk permissions and then check for any difference:
Follow the steps below to repair the disk permissions:
1. Open the the Applications folder.
2. Go to the Utilities folder.
3. Double-click on Disk Utility.
4. Select the hard drive containing the boot volume.
5. Go to the First Aid tab and select Repair Disk Permissions.
Note: This process may take several minutes depending on the Mac and amount of permissions that need to be repaired. The Progress Log will indicate when the process has been completed.

Desktop Software 6.0.1 won't open, a pop-up window says "Blackberry Desktop Software has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience".

Here's a procedure I've given out that has helped some...no guarantees...
I suggest the following steps (insert plenty of reboots of your PC...not just restarts, but full power down reboots). Also, it is advised that you be logged into the PC on an account with full admin rights. Further, under Vista/Win7, use the "Run As Administrator" option for everything.
Further, it has also been reported that when your user profile on windows (type 'echo %userprofile%' in the command prompt) contains spaces, then the installer will not work. In order to solve this issue, log out of your Windows account and log back in using the local Administrator account (or any other account name without spaces) and install the desktop (for all users).
1) Remove your device OS update package from your PC (add/remove programs)
2) Cleanly uninstall the RIM DTM software:

Some have reported that there are more registry keys to remove than are discussed in that KB...be sure to search your registry for any related to RIM
Others have reported the use of a registry cleansing tool to also be helpful
Still others have reported the use of your original PIM (e.g., Outlook, NOTES, etc.) installation CD, running the "repair" process, to be helpful in some situations
3) Get a fresh download of the RIM DTM software:

4) Download (to your PC) a fresh copy of your device OS package from your carrier:

After install update 10.1.1 in FCPX, I can NOT open the software... please help!!

Just that! Today I install it via App Store Updating..
I have a Macbook Pro Retina Display with Maverick 10.9.1
FCPX 10.1 works fine, but now with the updating does not open... other softwares such as Motion and Compressor works fine.

Can't open HP software driver on Apple computer

I need to download and install HP software for a HP officejet 2620 all in one printer on my Apple desktop, OS 10.10.1. I I've downloaded the softwre to my computer but when I try to install it I get a flag that says, "HPInstaller" can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer. It continues, Your security preferences allow instalastion of only apps from the Mac App Store and identified developers. I don't find the HP software and installer for my printer in the Apple App Store. What to do?

Can't open Blackberry ID in settings or BB World

my Z10 will not connect to the Blackberry ID system. So I can't download anything in BB world. When I go to the BB ID settings or payment setting, I get nothing. Just an infinite thinking loop "Retrieving Blackberry ID Properties"
It was working fine yesterday morning. Now nothing. Everything is working fine on my Playbook.
Rogers suggested an OS re-install. Any idea if this will work?

Are you connected to a Wi-Fi network?
If you are connected to the Mobile network, how is your network coverage?
Have you rebooted the BlackBerry smartphone by holding down the button on the top of the Blackberry smartphone and then selecting restart?

I can't open the software download for UniversalBrowser from Canon

I just bought a Canon VIXIA HFR400 and to transfer mp4's to my computer I need to instal UniversalBrowser but it goes to open and then doesn't each time I click on it to instal. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

What version of Photoshop are you running? You will need at CS5, CS6, CC or CC2014. Each version needs a different ACR-plug-in to open files from that camera.
If you are on CS4 or earlier, you'll need to upgrade—or, in the alternative; look for, download, instal, launch and run the free, stand-alone DNG Converter 8.6 on each file of raw NEF files to convert them to raw DNGs first so you can open them in your version of Photoshop and ACR plug-in higher than 2.4.

Can't uninstall or install any Blackberry software?

I just loaded in my disk for the Blackberry User Tools, and therefore it installed the Desktop Manager, Device Manager and the Media Manager. Since this, I uninstalled Roxio Media because I didn't want the program, and now nothing works.
When I try to open Device Manager, nothing happens. My Blackberry Media Manager has gone completely, and I cannot uninstall the Blackberry Desktop Software 5.0.1 ... I really want to get rid of it and install a new version because it isn't working.
I tried using the User Tools disk, and it's not recognised anymore and the 'run.exe' isn't coming up like it did before. I can't uninstall the software due to an error 1500 (An install is taking place, wait for this to finish before changing other programs). I'm not installing anything!
I've tried to install new software, but I get the same error message and am stuck with lots of software that currently isn't working. Please help me.

5) Install DTM to your PC

Can I open LiveCycle created form on a Blackberry?

I created a form in LiveCycle with expandable fields and other lovely features now our VP is saying he can't open it on his Blackberry. This is a disaster.
Is there any way to get this to work?

Yes and no. No in that the integrated PDF viewer for mobile devices do not support Livecycle (XFA) PDFs. Yes in that Adobe does have additional platforms (see link below) for viewing and entering text fields for mobile devices. However I sense that you lack these options so I might suggest, if you have the software, to create a PDF with either Acrobat Pro or you can use Adobe's new FormCentral which might be included in your version of Acrobat Pro if you have it. Both have options for optimizing PDFs for mobile viewing; however you might be somewhat limited with the other features you have made in the form. But at the end of the day Acrobat created forms, for the most part, can be viewed on mobile devices. I have a somewhat limited expereince with the integrated PDF viewer in BB so I am not 100% sure if all features like expanded fields in an Acroform would work.

Since you just upgraded it, please try instead removing and then reinstalling BBM fresh and clean. Be sure to first backup (locally) your contacts:

I can't open almost any app on my iMac (OSX Lion 10.7.4). Every time I attempt to do so, the app "unexpedtely quits" and can't go further. This happens with iTunes (when I turn to the iTunes Store), MacApp Store, Software updates an many other apps...

I can't open almost any app on my iMac (OSX Lion 10.7.4). Every time I attempt to do so, the affected app "unexpedtely quits", showing a window (sort of expanded dialog box) with the log history, wich form a complete report wich is said to be sent to Apple. Despite that this window has a "restart" button, I haven't been able to go any further from this point, as it repeats the process again and again, impeding me to use the affected app.
This has get to a critical point, as it is afecting apps like iTunes (especifically when I turn to the iTunes Store from within te app), MacApp Store, Software Updates (I can't update anything, given this problem) and many other apps, including Aperture 3, Fusion 4, integrated Dictionary and Wikipedia, as I've been able to verify.
As far as I'm concerned, it hasn't affected apps like Office, Vectorworks, Pixelmator, iDraw, Quick Note...
Can anybody help me on this matter?

Whenever I select Word Microsoft Setup Assistant appears, asks for feedback, then after selecting okay (both on saying yes or no to feedback) goes on to a registration page. When I click on this it says I've already registered so I just click okay, and then move on to a update page. After this, if I click on Word, the process repeats itself.
As I said, I don't have the disk to reinstall, and can't find the Office Settings to delete as many pages have suggested I should try. Safe Boot restarting also hasn't worked... Really stuck and need Word very soon for work.
If you can help, that would be great, and feel free to ask any questions about the situation as I'm not an expert here.

First, export your contact from iCloud.com and save them on your computer in a safe spot some where (like you desktop). Use this to help you do this: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH3606
Next, on both of your devices, go to Settings > iCloud and turn on contacts and select Merge. Then turn off contacts and select 'Delete form my [device]' when prompted.
Now go back to iCloud.com and select a contact (yes they will all be messed up again) and select Command+A on a Mac or Control+A on a PC to select all of the contacts. Tap the delete key on your keyboard (or right click /control click a contact and select delete).
You iPhone, iPad and iCloud.com should not be empty for contacts.
Go back to Settings > iCloud on both devices and turn on contacts again (you should not see merge this time).
Next, go back to iCloud.com and import your contacts (those exported .vcards). You can either drag and drop them into the empty contacts list in your web browser, or you can use the gear icon to import.
You cleaned up contacts should import correctly into iCloud.com and sync to both of your devices.
