Can't open emails easily and can't edit personal f...

Hi, I'm using windows xp and google chrome but can't easily open emails. I have to access a dropdown menu and then click open. How do I correct this? I can't edit my personal folders either. I've run the BT Desktop Help troubleshooter tool which says the email is working fine but clearly it is not. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

For a start ecnalyecar I'd get rid of BT Desktop Help - it is reportedly more trouble than it is worth. I'm sure that others more knowledgeable than me will be able to help with your main problem though.
banjodag - all ISPs have their good and their bad times. When they are good they are good but when they are bad........ doesn't bear thinking about. But seriously BT have been going through a particularly bad patch over the last week or so but I have been with BT for a number of years now and on the whole they have been good. It's just that they have one or two glaringly bad bits. Customer service being located offshore is oine particularly bad bit as is the manner in which the e-mail migration has been (mis)managed. But as I say you takes your pick etc.
Mistakes and embarrasing goofs in e-mails are only discovered when you've sent them!

When I try to right click on a JPEG, a notice window appears written: "Windows Explorer has stopped working - Windows is

From the other side - If I try to save as JPEG a screen of Solidworks (like a view of a part) the Solidworks falls but the JPEG
is created (I can see its name in the directory I created it).
I can open the JPEGS with the Paint software if I want but not with the Windows Photo Viewer.
I have the feeling that the Windows Photo Viewer disapeared from my computer - just a feeling.

Did Windows Photo Viewer option appear when you right click the JPEG file and select open with?

I had problems downloading attachments so I entered the Mail Contacts and Calendars folder in System preferences and entered my gmail address there, after which downloads forwarded to that account came through fine. The only problem is that when I tried to get back in to add another email address the icon kept trying to load and giving me a pinwheel. Only other option is hard resetting (please backup all your personal data first), by going into Settings > About > Reset your phone.
If that doesn't work, then you will need to take your phone to your local Nokia Care point for them to inspect.

Can't Open App Catalog and can't update

Hello. I recently bought an unlocked used Palm Pixi plus. I'm trying to connect to the App catalog but whenever i try and open it it just says the "action could not be completed". Also, I've tried opening the updates app but it just keeps searching for updates infinitely even though it still has v1.4.3. i don't know why this is happening... could anyone help me?
Like i said, this is an used pixi plus. I didn't do a full erase before using it because that would mean i'd need to get a data plan - which i don't have it now. But, I guess if you guys think the full erase would be a good option then I can arrange it.

Using a different phone under the same profile would kick the preceeding one out with a full erase on top. The big picture is to use the online services, you need your own properly activated Palm Profile so either way at least you need to do a partial erase to register this phone with you own Palm Profile. You could borrow someone's SIM card with data or at least temporarily put data on you acct. to make your own Palm Profile and from there on use WIFI. Due note that most smartphones, if not all of them, are data-centric so having dataplans with them gives the full potential of the device.

Can't send email message and can't delete

I tried sending a message with a large number of email addresses. Apparently there were some that were problems so a message came up saying it can't be sent. The list was too long for me to click on edit and thus I am unable to edit or erase the message. Any suggestions would be grateful

Is this message showing as being in the Outbox (the Outbox only appears in the Sidebar when a message is sitting in it that failed to send) or elsewhere?
Where did you get the list of addresses that were used in the message?

Updated Mozilla, can't open email (yahoo and hotmail accounts), and then it won't open any webpage. It won't end process either. Computer restart needed.

I am looking for a way to get a solution to this error which keeps preventing me from opening my Premiere Elements 11 program. I have previously used the program without any problems. But last week I had a new HDD installed in my laptop (Dell Studio XPS 1640 running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit). Now I can't open Premiere Elements and can't edit my videos.
When I try to open the program, I get an error which reads:
Font Capture: Adobe Premiere Elements.exe - Bad Image
C:\Windows\system32\QUARTZ.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original instalation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support
My computer technician did use an image of my laptop to transfer everything onto the new HDD. I have no idea if that is relevant to this software problem.
I posted this question previously and was directed to a link which instructed me to update my DirectX and other graphics drivers. I did all that already. I still can't open Premiere Elements. I want to ask Adobe Support, but since they just launched Premiere Elements 12, I guess I no longer get direct support from Adobe? Not sure but that is how it seems to work. I will try any advice given to resolve this issue, if anyone has ideas.

Did you try reinstalling as indicated by the error message? Transferring images is not a good way to install Adobe programs.

IPAD hooks up with wifi and site has check but i can can not open email or sites?

winmail.dat files usually mean the email has been sent in rich text format - you could either the person who sent it to send it in a different format e.g. plain text or HTML, or there are a few apps in the store that support it (search for winmail.date in the store).

Prolems started after uploading the Lion in March. Now at least Windows 7 users can´t open any pdfs or jpegs that I have included into sent e-mails. They can see that they are included but can´t open them. What can I do?

It's a bug in Outlook. Each version of Outlook has its own unique bug that prevents it form displaying email that didn't come from another Outlook user. Apple has attempted to dumb-down Mail and make it more complex in order to work around these issues, but Microsoft keeps changing the bugs in each version of Outlook instead of making an Internet Email standard compliant email client.
Are they able to right-click on the image and save it from the contextual menu?
Otherwise, make sure Send windows friendly, attachments at end of message are checked and send plain text.
Or, zip the attachments and send that way.
There is also a program called Attachment Tamer that many people have found useful.
