i can't open my apps store after updating to ios 6.... so frustrating... i already tried setting the date and time but it didn't work.:( pls help...
Use iTune to update your apps.
Check for Updates (bottom right) in iTune. When download is completed, sync to iPad.

hello, i want to upgrade to Lion OS from X 10.6.8 but to do that i need to use mac app store, the mac app store is not opening with me, i tried many ways to un install iTunes and re install it, but still not working. !! any advise
Install the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo
Restart your Mac.
FYI... you can access the Mac App Store either from your Apple menu icon (top left in your screen) then click App Store, or your Applications folder, or your Dock.
The combo should reinstall the App Store for you. -
Pro Video Formats 2.0.1 appeared in my App Store a few weeks back (I'm running an 2011 MBP with 10.10.4 and have been using the betas). I installed it, and it continues to appear as an update every day. No matter how many times I install it, it continually comes back. I even wiped out all of my codecs in /Library/Quicktime, reinstalled the PVF. I downloaded the standalone installer, ran that. No change. I've seen a few mentions of this online, but hoping for a fix!

Why i cannot open mac app store, preview, calendar, software update, etc after upgrading to mavericks? How can i fix this? please help me
Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, or by corruption of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled on some models, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test. -
Can not open the app store on my mac since new update
can not open the app store on my mac since new update
Here are some suggestions for getting the best results from this site.
Create a user profile that accurately reflects the type of hardware you're using and your version of OS X, or include that information in your first message.
Give details of the problem. A remark such as "X doesn't work" conveys no useful information. If X did work, you wouldn't be here. Instead, you should post something like this: "I did A; I expected B; but I got C." Include the complete, verbatim text of any error messages you saw, and specify where you saw them: in an application window, a CrashReporter window, a log, or whatever.
Also describe the steps you’ve taken yourself, if any, to try to resolve the issue. If the problem is of recent origin, did you make any changes to your setup just before you first noticed it? Is the problem reproducible or intermittent? That is, does it always manifest itself when you take a certain action, or only at unpredictable times?
Before posting, ask yourself whether it’s likely that you are the the only person ever to have had this problem. If not, search the discussions for answered questions similar to yours. If you found any pertinent information, but it didn't help, give details. -
Mac App Store Crashes/OSX Tiger
I run an iMac version 10.6.8.
I can't get Mac App Store to open to download OSX Lion.
Every time, it crashes immediately and will not re-open.
I have read and tried all the suggested in this site - to no avail.
Spot-Light has never been disabled on my Mac.
I have removed all the suggested items from the library.
I have not updated App Store from 10.6.6 or 10.6.7 as I'm running 10.6.8
I'm thinking that this may cause Bigger Problems than those I already have.
I'm not very experienced with tinkering with the Operating System my Mac, as I never have needed to in the past.
I am more than happy to follow good advice though, and I'd be really chuffed if some one could help here.
Here's hoping there is a kind person out there.
Thanks
DavyI had a similar problem in which I could not get the Mac App Store to work properly, but I believe your issue can be solved with less work involved on your part.
For starters, you'll need Pacifist, which is an application that can look inside .dmg and .pkg files and allow you to pick and choose what you wish to install. In this case, you'll be looking inside an OS update and picking out the Mac App Store. This isn't entirely necessary, but it will make life a bit easier - and it's a useful thing to have around. It can be downloaded here - http://www.charlessoft.com/ and includes a trial version.
Secondly, you'll need the Mac OS 10.6.6 update disk image, which can be downloaded from Apple's website. Google it if you want, or just go here - http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1349
Once you've downloaded the OS update and installed Pacifist, you'll need to open Pacifist and have it explore the disk image of the update file that you have just downloaded. I forget the exact location of the App Store within the dmg, but I remember that I didn't have too much trouble finding it when I was doing the same thing. I'm currently re-downloading it so that I can check, though. I'll edit this post when it finishes.
Once you've found it, you just need to drag and drop the App Store into your applications folder. -

TS1424 I can't open the iTune store after I updated my iphone to iOS 7.
Hi there, could someone help me here please - I can't open the iTune store after I updated my iphone 4 to iOS 7. The problem occurred about 5 days later after the upgrade. There are no error messages. As I tap on the icon it opens just for a fraction of a moment and then goes off and back to the main screen. Other apps are working just fine. I tried following the troubleshooting steps as suggested by apple support, but that didn't help unfortunately...

Can't access my App Store after new update
After installing the new update 6.0, I can't connect to my App Store. Please help
If you can't open the App Store, I suggest completely turning off your iOS device (holding the Sleep/Wake button) and turning it back on again. If that doesn't work, back up all your apps, music, movies, photos and any other data to iTunes and attempt a restore of your iOS device. This returns your device into factory state, so everything is erased. But if you back up everything first, it shouldn't be a problem.
Hope this helped! -
I can't download Mac App Store
I can't download Mac App Store using OS X 10.6.8 following Apple's downloading procedure--the Mac App Store icon never appears in the dock or anywhere else!Mac App Store
You don't update from 10.6.3 by using the App Store. You use Software Update for that. Then after using Software Update to get to 10.6.8, you'll have the latest version of the App Store.
I don't see how this issue relates to your iPad. -
I can't open the app store, safari the mail app, youtube app and the maps app. they try to open then close very quickly. what can I do?
Try downloading another app - any free app - that seems to reset something and the apps may start working again. Try that first. If that doesnt work, try these steps
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Close all apps. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. -
