Can't open multiple FF windows anymore

Hey there,
maybe two months ago I updated to FF 31.0 and then the problems started.
The first thing I recognized, one of my AddOns didn't work as usual, but I thought
"ok, new FF version, maybe in one or two weeks it'll work as well"
Then I recognized that I can't open anymore multiple FF windows. Tabs works as
usual, but there is no way to open more than one window. I tried:
- Strg+N
- rightclick on tab and "open in new window"
- drag&drop tab outside of the FF window
... nothing works!
A new update of my AddOn was released, but this didn't change anything.
Then I exported my Favorites, uninstalled FF 31.0 and installed 32.0 beta.
I reinstalled my AddOn, few days ago I installed 33.0 beta - always the same!
Please gimme some advice =)

Using Win 7 Pro I've always been able to open multiple Firefox browser windows. Since updating to Firefox 3.6.11 I can only open one window at a time. I can still have multiple windows open using Internet Explorer or Chrome.

Can I open two Safari windows at the same time?

Can I open two Safari windows at the same time and split the windows in two on my screen? Right now, I have to open Safari and Firefox to get the split screen. I know I can press command to get multiple tabs, but that's not what I want. I want to use Safari on two open windows.

I can't open iTunes in Windows 7

I can't open iTunes in Windows 7 even I download the latest version.
(iPhone is iOS 5.0.1)
It's 64-bit Windows 7 and every time I clicked "Agree" in tthe software license, it doesn't work.
Then the PC helping centre shows the following sentence:
"iTunes can not work normally anymore.iTunes has the latest version to download, this will solve the problem.Apple Inc. suggest you to upgrade to newest version of iTunes, to improve the safety and stability."
This shows for many times and I keep upgrade iTunes.How to solve this problem?

There are various things this could be. First restart you computer
Check to see if you QUicktime works as iTunes can't work without it. If it doesn't work, describe what happens.
Then run a virus and spyware scan as malware has been known to do this.
Then check to see if disabling your forewall allows iTunes to start, this hasn't been seen for a while, but in the past firwall blocking has caused iTunes to hang.

Open multiple playlist windows?

It doesn't seem that I can open multiple playlist windows in version 11. I'm a massage therapist and broadcast, via the Griffin Rocket, my music to all the radios in the house. I chose different playlists for different clients and need to switch playlists for different clients which I could do easily by having multiple iTunes windows open.
Now I can't? I just used to click on the playlist icon, and a new iTunes window would open.

There is one way that I have found to open up two windows - but only two windows, and it's extremely limited functionality.
In the iTunes "Window" menu, just check "Mini Player" (if you're currently in the full iTunes window) or check "iTunes" if you're currently in the miniplayer. Do NOT click "Switch to MiniPlayer"
That opens up second window, so you have both the full window and the miniplayer open. Which still stinks, but you can use the "search" tool in the miniplayer to at least partially browse around and minipulate music (using the pop up menus) while referring to playlists etc. in the main window.
Very dissatisfying, but at least it's something.

Can't see my layout-window anymore

I have a problem!
I opened a domain in iWeb but now I don't see the layout-window anymore, even if I open a other domain.
There is just the navigation-bar on the top starting with "iWeb ..."
I have to do some changes, please help me.

Cannot open multiple firefox windows

The problem is I cannot open multiple firefox windows at 1 time. It keeps saying that firefox is running or it just spins on the 2nd time that we press on the firefox icon every time I do this. Can you please come up with a solution. Yes we can open up multiple tabs but cannot get more than 1 session running at a time.
Is there a fix for this?

Can't open ituens on window 7

I can't open itunes in window 7. i have tried to open in safe mode. it gsave me option to continue but nothing happen. Also i tried to follow the instruction to delet sc file but when i get into the folder no sc file at all. when i double click on itunes icon nothing happen. i checked in task manager but nothing running. I tried remove and reinstall multiple times no luck. please help!!

If you're getting an error-message-free iTunes launch error, and the iTunes.exe is making a brief-if-any appearance in Task manager, we'd better check for a QuickTime problem.
Try updating your QuickTime Player to the most recent version. Does iTunes start launching again?

How can you open multiple instances in Safari?

I am new to the Mac world. I was so used to having multiple instances of Internet Explorer open when I used a Windows PC. Can anybody please explain to me how can I open multiple Safaris? Thank you for answering my question.

Open Safari, and then under the File menu you can open a new window (or press command+n to do the same thing - the command key is the one with the Apple symbol on it).

Open multiple shell window, each one with different command executed

I want to click on something in the dock and have three shell window opened. Each shell must connect to a ssh console, login and execute a command (like ps, top, etc..) and the stays there showing me the results.
I need the three window to open at exact positions (so I can see all of them at the same time) and with fixed width and height. I also want to make them a bit transparent and green on black...

     After Installation the Version 64 Bit couldn't work because of this
sentence (Windows 7 has 64 Bit Version). The 32 Bit Version worked
without problems. The next day both versions didn't work because of
this Informatiom. Bridge and Camera raw workinjg perfect but photoshop
(CS 5) is blocked.

How can I open a second window in iTunes?

When I see some albums in the the iTunes Store I want to check whether I have some of the songs already. The Search function in the Store only refers to the store and not to my Library. So how can I open a second window in iTunes (one with the Store and one with my Library) to make it easier to compare?

My understanding it that was removed from iTunes recently (I still run iTunes 7.5 from 2007), so no, not unless you downgrade iTunes (which is not easy). You can send feedback to Apple about reinstating it but I have yet to see Apple reinstate something that appeared to have been deliberately removed from its software, despite vociferous complaints on this forum.

Can you opening multiple albums at the same time in Photo (not iPhoto)?

When converting the iPhoto library to Photo most of the albums that were in place in iPhoto converted to albums in Photo . . . .but not all. Some were retained as events mainly those that were folders within an album. In order to move them to the right album I would like to have multiple albums open at the same time (side by side) so that I can make sure not to duplicate photos or move them to the wrong spot.
I cant see how to do this, it seems that I can need to open one album and check phots and then close to look within and other and rely on memory. There must be a more efficient and accurate way to do this?

All of the events in iPhoto were converted to albums and are located in the Folder titled iPhoto Event in the sidebar of Photos.
You can't open multiple albums at the same time. You can create a smart album that will do essentially the same thing with the following criteria:
Album is "A"
Album is "B".
The smart album will display all of the photos in those two albums.
