Can't open or save mp3 email attachment on Palm Pre

My Palm Pre is running on webOS 1.4 and when I receive emails with mp3 attachments I can only download them (the name of the attachment changes to a download status bar). If I click on the downloaded attachment nothing happens. It works fine with jpgs or pdfs. Anyone out there with the same problem or even a fix for this?

Same thing happens to me - and I just performed a fresh reload of 1.4 last night to enable the ability to preview my ringers (a 1.4 upgrade bug).

I have to open them on my PC and then iCloud will sync my updated calendar across all my devices with no problem. However, when I don't have access to my PC I would like to be able to open the ics calendar item (or save it) on my iPhone so I can see what meeting or conference I have been invited to so I can reply promptly and keep my calendar up to date without needing to wait till I have access to my PC.

The exact same thing described above is happening me too and by the looks of this and other forums, its happening alot of people.
I have tried restoring from new and a DFU restore and nothing works.
Think Apple need to own up that this is a real flaw with the iPhone 4 and offer a repair or recall.

Can't open PDF file as email attachment

I have windows xp with adobe reader 8. When I try to open a pdf attachment file in my email it wants to go to my browser and won't open. Just get a warning messege. I want it to open in adobe reader. I can save it and then open it from my documents given on option when I right click. I do not get any options when I right click while it is still attached to the email. It started when I screwed up opening another pdf file in my email. An option box poped up with a chice between adobe or browser. I picked browser and then clicked the apply button. I have not been able to undo it. I can't find that option.

I saved the file 8pdk_96_4.pdf to my desktop and tried to open it using Adobe Reader but I get the same message: Adobe Reader could not open '8pdk_96_4.pdf' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).

Had Adcobe Reader for years, recently the X version, worked fine. A few days ago a message appeared that the program "has stopped operating" after a message "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way". I downloaded Reader XI, no change. I've reset the computer to its settings of Nov. 4 (when things were still working fine). No change. I badly nead the program, because I get things sent in pdf to which I have to respond as part of my job. Can anyone help?

What is your operating system?
Can you open Adobe Reader by itself? If so, try disabling Protected Mode [Edit | Preferences | Security (Enhanced)].

Save the email and forward it (along with the attachment) when you need to send a copy somewhere. Depending on the type of document it is, if you can open it in some app, and if that app is programmed to sync to iCloud, then that's a way to get it to icloud. Just tap and hold your finger on the attachment icon (in mail) and from the pop up menu choose the app to open it in - if there is an app capable of opening it.
For Pages, Numbers, etc. formatted files, you can open them in the appropriate Apple app, and if you have set up an iWork page on icloud.com, then you can save the doc to iCloud via the Apple app (Pages, Numbers, etc.).

[CS3] can't open or save bmp file

Help, i can't open or save bmp file in my CS3 extended. It is saying that is impossibile operate the request cause the file type is wrong.
That's unbelievable !!!
Even if i try to save a total new and blank work does not allow me save in bmp ( the option is even not shown !!)
I guess some update has screwed up the configuration but i don't now who to solve it. i'm going MAD !!!!

Same Problem, I can't save the image. I just made a new desktop wallpaper, and I go to Save As.. and it does not show ANY image formats.
-I can choose to save as..
--Photoshop
--Cineon
--D3D/DDS
--Dicom
--Large Document Format
--Photoshop PDF
--Photoshop Raw
--PNG
--TIFF
That is all there is in the format drop down menu.
Image is 1024x768, Locked background layer, 16 bit colour.
I recently installed Xp Service pack 3, and as far as I know, I could save them before that.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, so please reply to this or send me an email at ---(Email Addres Deleted)---

Turns out that the image needs to be 8 Bits/Channel. To do this, select the image and follow these menu instructions..

Yes, but you shouldn't.
Here's how.
Export the Slideshow to the FInder - a process that will make a QuickTime movie of it.
Attach that movie to the email. Send
Why not? Videos are very large files. Most Internet providers have a limit on the largest file you can send. Sending one too large means it can bounce back to you. ALso, even if the other person can receive it, downloading large files via email is slow, and can even cause crashes on some email apps on older systems.
Intead of emailing it, upload it to DropBox, YouTube, Vimeo, or any other sharing site and send the person a link.
Then they can download it themselves

I understand that you can't get a virus by opening an email, but it seems way too circumstancial! This is my third mac -- because unlike PC -- I never had a problem. I understand this problem is not with my macbook, because every other website works fine -- it's hotmail!

You can have only one iCloud email account for each iCloud account. You can create alias addresses liked to your account, but they will all deliver email to the same iCloud inbox (see http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mm6b1a490a).
If you want a separate email account, you will need to create a second iCloud account.

Firefox can't seem to save sent emails in the "sent" box

Have sent two emails today - neither will get saved in the sent box and I get an error message saying:-
"There was an error saving the message to Drafts. Retry?"
But I wasn't trying to save the email to "drafts" - I don not know if the actual email has been sent.
Could this be related to the fact that today I changed my Virus Protection from BullGuard to Kaspersky? Can't find anything on K's control panel affecting emails!
