Can't open PDF documents

Hello! When I want to open a new PDF document this screen shows up: "Before viewing PDF documents in this browser you must launch Adobe Reader and accept the End User Agreement, then Quit and relaunch the browser." What is wrong? I have install Adobe Reader so why thaw this screen shows up?

That is very strange! I can tell you how to fix that on Windows, but if you are on a Mac, then I have no idea.
What is your installed Reader version (if you are on Windows)?

I can not open pdf documents

If I want to open a pdf document I get the following error-message:
"Error during page elaboration. A problem occurred during reading this document (109)"
I have Adobe Reader V8. I removed the version 8 and installed version 7, but I still can not open the document.

I can not open .pdf documents unless I save them first. But sometimes I can't download the file first - I get an error message that says that my version of Adobe can't open a .pdf in a web browser...

Solution Manager is the SERVER, it can't open PDF documents; most likely your PC can't open them.

Adobe Reader on iOS works differently than on the PC. On the PC, it installs a browser plug-in that is used to render the PDF document in the web page (or open the PDF document in the Adobe Reader application). On iOS, it simply installs the Adobe Reader app, but no browser plug-in.
Based on the information you've provided, it sounds like the Salesforce web site is trying to detect whether the browser plug-in is installed on iOS (which it never will be), and then prompting you to install Adobe Reader. Instead, the web site should realize that you're browsing on an iPad using Safari, and just display the PDF in a new tab, or in the current tab.
Is there an alternate link on the Salesforce web page to download the PDF file instead of display it? (The link may be much smaller, or offscreen requiring you to scroll right or left.) A download link should actually do the correct thing and display the PDF in Safari once the file is downloaded.
Once you're viewing the PDF in Safari, a black translucent bar appears for about 3 seconds at the top of the tab that will have an "Open in <AppName>" button, or that button plus an "Open..." button (if you have multiple apps that can view PDF documents). Tap one of those buttons to open the PDF document in another app.
If the black translucent bar disappears, just tap anywhere on the PDF document (other than a link) to bring it back.

I can not open PDF document stored in Google drive

I have down loaded Adobe PDF reader APP (Touch Type) but it is not opening my PDF documents stored in my google drive. It tells me error 403 (forbidden). Could some one explain how I can solve this problem.

It depends on how you open the PDF documents that are stored in Google Drive.
Do you access Google Drive via the web browser? Or do you have a sync client app installed on your device? Adobe Reader Touch itself does not display the error 403 (forbidden).
Could you describe the steps that you used to open one of the PDF documents from Google Drive? How did you choose Adobe Reader Touch to open it?

Can't open PDF documents with Adobe

Every time I try to open up a PDF with Adobe the error message
Adobe Acrobat Professional 8 cannot be launched at this time. You must launch at least one other suite component before launching Acrobat 8 Professional.
We've tried reinstalling and can't figure out what the problem is... Any ideas would be great!

[SOLVED] Okular Can not open pdf Document

Whenever I try to open a pdf document by Okular it says "Could not open /directory/filename.pdf". Terminal shows following error:
okular(25136)/okular (app) Okular::DocumentPrivate::loadGeneratorLibrary: Invalid plugin factory for "okularGenerator_poppler"!
I tried to update poppler using "sudo pacman -S poppler" and it re-installation completed successfully. But it didn't help at all.

Actually pacman -S <package> is safe (although pacman may fail to find the package). It is passing the -y flag without the -u flag which causes the trouble.
In any case, you definitely did pacman -Syu?
Does this problem occur for all pdfs or only a certain one or certain ones?
Does
pacman -Qk kdegraphics-okular
show any problems?
EDIT: Also, what does
locate okularGenerator_poppler.so
give?

Can't open PDF documents or download new Adobe software.

I have aMacBook Pro, 10.6.8. I have been having trouble with downloading new software for Adobe Acrobat Reader. (I currently have Adobe Reader 9.5.1.)I get the message "failed - contact software manufacturer. I cannot download PDF documents. What can I do to resolve this?

Can't open pdf documents from mail attachments

Have Adobe Reader free version installed. IPAD2 using latest IOS 7
When trying to open a pdf attachment from mail attachments, there is a quick flash screen that displays and the attachment doesn't open.
Is there a fix for this?

Will it open other PDF attachments? Perhaps that particular attachment is corrupt?
A few things to try...
1. Remove apps from the Recently Used (multi-tasking) list...
- From any Home Screen, double tap the home button to bring up the Recents List
- Swipe up on the app preview card to remove it from the list
- Press the home button when done.
2. Restart by pressing the sleep/lock button until you see the slider. Slide to power off. Restart by pressing the sleep/lock button until you see the Apple logo.
3. Reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

Back up all data before making any changes. Please take each of the following steps until the problem is resolved.
Step 1
If Adobe Reader or Acrobat is installed, and the problem is just that you can't print PDF's displayed in Safari, you may be able to print by moving the cursor to the the bottom edge of the page, somewhere near the middle. A black toolbar may appear under the cursor. Click the printer icon.
Step 2
There should be a setting in its preferences of the Adobe application such as Display PDF in Browser. I don't use those applications myself, so I can't be more precise. Deselect that setting, if it's selected.
Step 3
Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it, the copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C:
/Library/Internet Plug-ins
In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder
from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Paste into the text box that opens (command-V), then press return.
From the folder that opens, move to the Trash any items that have "Adobe" or “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then quit and relaunch Safari.
Step 4
The "Silverlight" web plugin distributed by Microsoft can interfere with PDF display in Safari, so you may need to remove it, if it's present. The same goes for a plugin called "iGetter," and perhaps others — I don't have a complete list. Don't remove Silverlight if you use the "Netflix" video-streaming service.
Step 5
Do as in Step 3 with this line:
~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari.

Can't open pdf:s in My documents.

I have moved My documents to a secondary hdd to save space on c:. I have Win7 pro and i have changed under my userprofile were the directory My documents is.
The problem is that i can't open pdf-files on My documents with Adobe Reader. I only recieve a message, "There was a problem when this document was opened. Access is denied." (Translated from Swedish)
I can open the file without any problem if i move it to c:. I don't have any problems with any other type of documents.
Please help! I use the latest version of Adobe Reader and i have updated windows and drivers.

Thanks a lot for the screenshots and the information.Would it be possible for you to try the following at your end.
1. Create another folder under C:\ with some Latin Characters such as Ö or ä (as being used in the redirected path for My Documents etc.). Now place any PDF in this folder and try and access the same. Are you able to access it this time?
2. Redirect the My Documents folder to some other path which does not have any Latin character and see if the issue is still reproducible.

No - and you can't open pdf files in the Pages app on the iPad anyway as far as I know. You can export a Pages file as a pdf but you can't open them in Pages.

I have been able to open pdfs perfectly well up until I changed the security settings on Adobe Reader. As I read somewhere that Apples have an inbuilt pdf reader I trashed everything Adobe, but still can't open pdfs. Tried using Preview to no avail.

You didn't think of mentioning that in your first post? So it's not Adobe Reader or Preview you are having problems with. It's pdf's in your browser!
For Safari, you need to remove the adobe pdf plugins which Adobe apparently screwed up. You need to remove:
/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/AdobePDFViewer.plugin
/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/AdobePDFViewerNPAPI.plugin
I think you can "get away with" removing just the second one. But both for sure should allow you to open pdf's in a browser (all browsers).
