Can't open pdf online

When I try and open online pdf files it opens on a new window with a black box with an X through the middle. I have tried downloading new version of Reader and still doesn't work. I tried manage the add on's and reader is enabled. Any other suggestions?

I am using Chrome v 32.0.1700.76 m in 64 bit Windows 7 Professional SP1. I recently upgraded to Reader XI v 11.0.06. When I try to open an online PDF all I get is a blank grey screen. Mozilla Firefox did not do their job, here. I am an editor and am constantly online. Now, I have to go to Safari to download PDFs. I reinstalled an earlier version of Firefox to get rid of the problem, but somehow Firefox has deactivated my PDF download feature. This is a total wreck and I am so angry I could spit. Stop launching new products until you have fully tested them. Customers are not your guinea pigs. Please fix this now- and fire a few idiots on the way- the ones who let this happen.

I can't open PDF files in Explorer. When I try I get an error box that says

     Windows can check for a solution
     Check Online
     Close program
I have reinstalled Adobe and the problem is still there
I can open PDF files without going to Explorer

I can't open PDF's from websites!!!!

Please, I need help! So, I went to attesting.com and was having issues purchasing something from them, so I went to there technical requirements and uploaded their link for Adobe Acrobat Read X. I have a MAC version 10.9.4. It seemed everything was ok. Then I went to my school's website to print a form which is in PDF form and I get this ADOBE LOCKED THIS PDF. or something like that. It doesn't say it now. Now, when I try to open a PDF from a website it says BEFORE VIEWING PDF DOCUMENTS IN THIS BROWSER YOU MUST LAUNCHADOBE READER AND ACCEPT THE END USER AGREEMENT, THEN QUIT, AND RELAUNCH THE BROWSER. So, I've un-installed Adobe and reinstalled Adobe numerous times and I STILL CANNOT GET MY PDF's. I've NEVER had any issue before. Can anyone please help!?!?! I tried contacting Adobe and chatted with someone online and he said that he doesn't help support this issue since it's not something I've paid for. I'm so frustrated and mad! ugh! Any suggestions is much appreciated!

And I've also just realized I can't open PDF's at all. Tried exporting on of the PDF forms from my school website to my desktop and it won't open from my desktop either. It's saying it's empty.

My mother has Adobe Reader XI installed on her laptop and still can't open PDF files. We've tried uninstalling and installing several different versions and nothing seems to work. Can someone please help? Thank you.

It's when she tries to open things that she gets online - like credit card statements, etc. It's also stuff that she gets emailed to her as a PDF attachment. It'll look like the document is going to open, but then she gets the following error message in a pop-up window:

Can't open pdfs on iPhone 4s

My iPhone 4s will not open pdfs. The loading bar begins but then stops about a 1/4 inch in and the screen goes blank. How can I open pdfs? I have Adobe Reader on my phone.

I'm not even sure which reader it's using. I read online that Safari has it's own reader, but I also have Adobe so I'm not sure which one is trying to open it. I looked in my settings but I couldn't figure out how to determine my default reader. I have seen this issue fixed for some users by modifying the following registry key:
The key is "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management" MoveImages
Set the key to 1 instead of 0 then reboot the machine.
In case you still face the issue try the following registry key change:
The only thing you have to do is rename the following key at the REGEDIT, and everything will be fine !!
BEFORE:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\iexplore.exe
AFTER:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\iexplore.old
Note: Please take a backup of the registry before attempting this change.

I can't open PDF files as the screen message says I have to reopen the computer and sign the Adobe Reader agreement but even though Adobe has downloaded I don't get any screen message indicating where I would do this.

after I've upgraded to Windows 8.1, I can't open PDF files from Windows Explorer (directly double clicking the file). The AcroRd32.exe runs in the background (2x !) as I see the processes in task manager, but there is no user interface visible. I have Acrobat
Reader 11.0.06, the desktop version (not Metro). I tried uninstalling the Acrobat reader and installing it again but this didn't help. The only way to open PDF files is to close the AcroRd32.exe from the task manager, open empty Acrobat Reader from the desktop
and then drag&drop the PDF file over that window. This is quite inconvenient. Is there a way to fix this issue so I can open PDF files directly from windows explorer?

I have installed it and whenever I try to open pdf files it says I need to agree with your liscens and you do that automatically when you download it. I have followed all your instructions on your website and uninstalled it and installed again, but I can't open pdf files with it. I don't know what the problem is exactly, but it's really frustrating..

Flash Player CANNOT open PDFs because they AREN'T Flash Documents.
Adobe Reader opens PDFs.
To accept the license agreement (NOT the one you accepted to download or install - the one for USE)
Windows:
Go to: C/Program Files(x86)/Adobe/Reader 11.0/Reader and double click the eula.exe file. The license agreement will open for you to accept.
Mac:
Go to: Mac HD/Applications and double click the Reader app. The license agreement will open THE FIRST TIME you open it.

I have Windows XP. Using firefox as my browser. Suddenly, I can't open PDF files in the browser. I've tried all the fixes mentioned. Nothing works!!! Checked the plugin settings, checked Adobe Reader settings.

I already fixed it. I never exited out of Firefox before deleting the mime file. it works now.

Back up all data.
Quit Safari. In the Finder, select Go ▹ Go to Folder... from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Copy the line of text below into the box that opens, and press return:
/Library/Internet Plug-ins
From the folder that opens, remove any items that have the letters “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then launch Safari and test.
If you still have the issue, repeat with this line:
~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari again.

I can't open pdf files on my iPhone or iPad since I updated to ios 6.1. Anyone have any ideas?
