Can't open Photoshop CS6 on new MBPro. How do I fix it?

The motherboard of my macbook pro crashed. I purchased a new MacBook Pro and downloaded a backup (from old computer). When I started my photoshop CS6 Extended version it claims that it is only a trial... What do I do to fix this/ get my old program up and running?

It sounds like you transferred the application from another machine to the new one. Tarnsferring will not work - you need to install the application using installation files.

Can't get Photoshop CS6 onto new device

I recently purchased a Wacom Cintiq Companion tablet, which has the ability to run products such as Photoshop on it. However, I purchased my version of Photoshop CS6 over a year ago, and am now unable to find a download link for it, as my order history will only go up to the previous 30 days. My version of Photoshop is currently only installed on one other device, so I should be able to add in the tablet as well. Any answers as to where I can find my download link or a means of installing Photoshop onto my new tablet?

I get an error message "could not open scratch file" I've tried command alt shift during opening.
Can someone help me please.

It seems a case of corrupt download again. Delete the downloaded content and try re-downloading from Adobe Labs.

Both Apple and Microsoft like to hid thing one users. They think it for your own protection. They want us to use their OS with blinders on while they operate under the covers. Blinders just make important thing hard to deal with. I have not use an Mac in over ten years only have an iPod for IMO he is no better MP3 player and it 3:2 high resolution display is great for showing snapshots.
The first thing I do whenever I get a new Windows machine is to remove Microsoft Blinders. If you us windows use its control Panel or File Explored Folder option and set the view options so you're not blinded. Uncheck the "sync mail accounts" checkbox. All that does is transfer your email settings from your computer to your iPhone. If the new account isn't on your computer it won't show up in that box. And if the account was manually added to the iPhone then the sync mail accounts won't do anything;it will only create a new account. All it syncs is settings, not messages.

Mozilla keeps crashing and i can only open it in safe mode. How do I fix this?

I tried un-checking use hardware acceleration and tried to open but all it said was that i have to close mozilla because there is already a version running but hadnt even clicked on mozilla yet so i checked the box again and the crash report came back. I'm writing this in safe mode.

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
*Use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
* Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")
In Firefox 4 and later [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode Safe mode] disables extensions and disables hardware acceleration.
*Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
If disabling hardware acceleration works then check if there is an update available for your graphics display driver.

If it's the same machine (same CPU) there should not be any need to activate. The actiovation is tied to your CPU.

This is not new. The fact that Mac OS no longer supports PowerPC applications starting with OS X Lion has been known for over a year now. You'll need to upgrade to the latest version of Photoshop

Can't Open Premire CS6 Projects in new Premier CC

Hi,
After a major equipment failure my company's IT guy re-installed the latest available version of Premier, CC. For the past year I've been using CS6, and now I'm finding I can't open previous projects. Is there a way to fix this using CC or would it be better (or even possible) to dump CC and try to re-load CS6. (Disclaimer: I am not remarkably tech savvy, mainly a writer/producer-type that's still fairly new to Adobe products)

I have researched Internet - ADOBE and others - to find a solution, but no luck! (see under)
The problem started around one year ago but I was able to open Bridge and go to Photoshop from there until recently.
Now I get "Error Code 16" in Bridge too when I am trying to go to Photoshop.
I have tried everything I could think of (including creating a new Administrator-user) with help from my Internet research and my own pretty good experience (I started working with computer systems as a Systems Analysts 1968...... - now it is only PCs)
I miss my Photoshop and Bridge a lot - it is very frustrating to have this problem, but I can see I am not the only one!!!

CAN'T LANUNCH PHOTOSHOP CS6

i am using windows xp professional and when i open the app it says it can not find an entry point from KERNELL32.dll.
HEEEELLLLPP!!

No I didn't, but when I installed it and clicked the icon, it said that it couldn't access entry point GetLogicalProcessorInformation from KERNEL32.dll.

Versions of Photoshop have different installation trees and user preferences. You do not merge Photoshop versions. Each version is independent. When you install newer versions of Photoshop the are options to migrate your presets and Preferences. You can start and use any version installed on your machine. For the most part newer version of Photoshop are backwards compatible with older versions of Photoshop. However some changes Adobe make to Photoshop change user interfaces and and the way Photoshop performs some functions these changes break some user actions, scripts and user work-flows. In fact all the version you listed CS4, CS5 and CS6 have comparability issues. In that respect Photoshop CC is not any better it has compatibility issues.
Newer versions of Photoshop have new functions and updated old function. Older versions can not handle everything save by newer versions of Photoshop. If you save PSD and PSB files with the maximum compatibility option checked. Older version should be able to open you layer document with layers that look like what was saved though some layer may be altered and may even be a different layer kind then was saved. If you need to support older versions of Photoshop always use the maximum compatibility option.
