Can't open Site Studio

I have just begun working on a new site in Site Studio. I briefly shut down Site Studio and logged off as I had to restart my computer and when I tried to reopen Site Studio I got this error message:
Failed to download file "SS_FRAGMENTS_DYNAMIC".
(Error accessing file 'SS_Fragments_Dynamic.xml' for download. (System Error: C:\stellent\vault\web_asset\1.xml(The system can find the file specified)))

Error while opening site studio designer

Hi,
We are getting error while opening the site studio Desiner in Server. It gives unexpected error with three options, view log, close and continue, then program just get closed.
Yesterday we have upgraded site studio component and designer -
Site studio designer from 10gR3(10.1.3.3.2) to 10gR3(10.1.3.5.0)
Site studio component from 7.7.2.405 to 8.0.0.645
This issue is not coming for the user who have installed the site studio component and designer but rest all user are facing the problem while opening site studio designer in the server.
Below mentioned is the scanrio -
A) All the users(UserA,UserB,UserC) have the admin access to the server.This installation has been done by UserA. UserA only able to open the SS-D and remaining all are getting error
B) The issue is on the same machine on which site studio designer is installed.
C) Multiple users are using same SS-Designer
D) Error occured as soon as the userB,UserC went to select site studio designer from start menu on the same server and getting the same error.
E) UserB who is also having admin access has tried this option of un install and re-install SS-D,but he is also not able to open the SS-D. Still only UserA is able to access the SS-D.
Any kind of resolution much appriciated.

Thanks for the suggestions, Yes userB and userC are able to edit regedit.
I have tried to install SS-D with userB and userC but then too both of them getting the same error, but userA is able to open SS-D.

Help : can't open fcp studio pro 2 file in fcp express 4.1.

can't open fcp studio pro 2 (fcp)file in fcp express. just installed fcp express 4 hd upgrade. everything works fine but i was given a fcp file of a sequence created on fcp pro studio 2. when try to open it i get an error message that says "this project is unreadable or may be too new for this version of final cut" - i updated all final cut express software. help!!

That's correct. FCP projects cannot be opened in FCE.

Can't open site in GoLive CS2, error (-5000) help!

I've created 7 different sites with GoLive CS2 over the years and they are all files on my Mac laptop. I went to open one that I haven't had to change in a while and I can't, I just get a window with this, "Could not open Document, OS Error (-5000)" So is this a GoLive error or something with my Mac OSX system? I can't open any completed GoLive CS2 sites with Dreamweaver, only page by page and then I can't upload the changes since my site FTP info is in the GoLive version websites. Of the 7 sites, I can only open 3.

FTP user account info is portable. Find out what the user name and password is for the accounts and enter them in Dreamweaver.
You do not mention what version of OS X you are using but it is highly likely that a user of a newer Mac is going to have troubles with GoLive. It was written for older Macs.

Can't open .Sit files

I've been trying to install some drivers that download as .sit files. I then can't open these files. Any suggestions out there?

Allume StuffIt Expander doesn't come with Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger.
But Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger lets you compress and decompress archive (.zip) files that work with both Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows.
If you'd like to use StuffIt Expander too, for example, to open .sit or .sitx compressed files, you can download it from the Allume Systems website.

After update I can not open site.

I opened Muse when I got home, tried to open site and everything is grayed out.
Copied the site and all files to a external, pasted them on my mac, same issue, when I try to open site, everything is grayed out, nothing to open.

I got it. repaired permissions on my external drive on my mac and it solved the issue.

PSF is also an extension for color proof preset/ files in Photoshop.
However, Photo Studio's PSF files may be opened in Photoshop if you change the extension to .JPG. However, you may be unable to use editing capabilities of the file.

Help ASAP...can't open site

I have a few web sites that I am running that were all built in iweb. I need to update one of them, but I do not know how to open the site up in iweb. Currently one of the other sites is the only site in iweb right now. How do I go about opening the other sites in iweb to make changes?????

In order to make changes to a site it must be included in the Domains.site file that's located in your User/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder. All components of a web site is included in it. It your domain file does not contain the site you want, then, unless you've got a backup copy of the Domains.site file that contains the other site(s), you'll have to reconstruct the site(s) from scratch. You can use the published version to guide you and even download the photos and other add ins to use again.
In the future I suggest you use varkgirl's Automator application for backing up your domain file on a frequent basis, i.e. after any changes, published or not, have been made.
Also if you are managing multiple sites you might be interested iniWebSites. I use iWebSites to manage multiple sites.. It lets me create multiple sites and multiple domain files.
If you have multiple sites in one domain file here's the workflow I used to split them into individual site files with iWebSites. Be sure to make a backup copy of your original Domain.sites files before starting the splitting process.
This lets me edit several sites and only republish the one I want.

Can't open site in iweb HELP

iweb opens and the bar opens saying loading site, but nothing happens. When you click on file all the options are greyed out. Tried opening the domain (from library/application support/iweb ) of the site but still nothing happens.
Does anyone have any idea of how to open my site? Have tried everything i can think of.

Sarah ~ Welcome to the discussions. The following trick has worked for some:
Quit iWeb. Start iPhoto. Select a couple of photos, click on the iWeb icon at lower right and choose Photo Page. iWeb will open up and invite you to choose a template for your new Photos page. Choose any template so that the page is created and then delete that newly created page.
...Then perhaps things are no longer greyed out in iWeb.

Safari Can't Open Site

I cannot open a site using Safari ("doesn't support browser"). I had the same issues using Firefox but downloaded "IE Tab" add-on which resolved the issue.
1. Is there a similar add-on for Safari?
2. Should I just download and use Firefox instead of Safari?

There is a hidden setting for enabling the debug menu in Safari. When you turn this on, you will be able to choose your user-agent so you can masquerade as other browsers.
Open a Terminal window and run this command (you can paste it into the window and hit return):
defaults write com.apple.Safari IncludeDebugMenu 1

Can not open .sit files any more

I get a warning that it is not a compressed file. I downloaded a new copy of Stuffit 11 and it dosen't work either. The files show as an icon of a little brown suitcase ant the suffix is .sit. If you look under get info it says that it is a stuffit archive. I have been having this problem for several months. I remember that used to work automaticly in earlyer revisions of SO 10.4.

scroll down the list and click on the Stuffit format
the panel on the right gives the extn (sit)
it should be Assigned to Expander
click on the Assign to Expander button anyway
close prefs and try again

I can not open sites saved to my desktop directly into safari. It only opens the topsites page. Any solutions

I cloned my old HD to an SSD and installed the hard drive. It booted up slowly but then has been working fine although when I shut it down it continues to boot up slowly. I have also been having issues with the top sites page in Safari. It will only show the recent sites not the icons that it used to show from my favorites. When I save a site to my desktop and then try to reopen from my desktop Safari goes to the top sites page. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know how to fix these issues? I have checked for updates but am currently using Yosemite 10.10.1. Thanks for the help

From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then disable them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit.

Can't open sites requiring Adobe Flash but Adobe finder says installed

Adobe finder says I have latest version installed I have un-installed several times and always get the same results I followed procedures suggested under help "how do I install- - " and I get to the pop up that is showing in #5 I check "i agree" exit the browser and chose install the SAME pop up runs and then says "done" I do not have any icon nor is it showing in my computer program list nor will any program requiring Adobe Flash work

Can't open SharePoint site in SharePoint Designer 2013 32Bit but can open Office 365.

Hello. I am running Windows 8.1 SharePoint Designer 2013 32Bit (15.0.4615.1000).
I am unable to open any sites from our SharePoint 2013 OnPremise farm. I can however open sites from our Office 365 environment.
I get the following error.
"An error occurred accessing your Microsoft SharePoint Foundation site files. Authors - if authoring against a Web server, please contact the Webmaster for this servers's Web site. WebMasters - please see the server's application event log
for more details."
I have looked in the event log but can't see anything relative.
I have cleared all caches, uninstalled and reinstalled and followed recommendations in this post.

My colleague with the same setup also has this issue but another doesn't and is able to access the site. I have a Windows 7 Hyper-V VM on my machine and this can open the OnPremise sites.
I really don't know what else to try short of rebuilding my machine which I would rather not do at the moment.
