Can't open some apps I downloaded

When I'm trying to open some apps I downloaded, I can't open them. A message: "error starting: non-persistent indices" keep appearing. Please give me some advices. Thank you.

Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.

Do you have enough free space on your iPad for it to run efficiently? With iOS 8 it is recommended that you have 15-20% of the storage space on the device free. For a 16 GB device that is 2.4-3.2 GB free. For a 32 GB device that is 4.8-6.4 GB free. For a 64 GB device that is 9.6-12.8 GB free.
Try quitting all apps and then reset the iPad. Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app. Do this for all apps that appear there. Then reset the iPad. Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot.

I have an iPad2 and I can't delete some apps I downloaded that I don't want. I can get the apps lto wiggle, but there is no X in the upper left corner for deletion. Any help is much appreciated.

See if anything here helps.
If the downloads are stalled or "waiting" - try these suggestions.
Tap the "waiting" icon and see if you can pause it. If it does pause, then tap it again and see if it will resume. If that works, repeat the same steps for each "waiting" icon.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream.
You can also try deleting the waiting icons - tap and hold down on an icon until it wiggles - the tap the X on the icon to delete it. Then try to download again.
You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered.
If all else fails, download the updates or the apps in iTunes on your computer and then sync the content to your iPad.

I can not open some apps

Hello, I am having trouble with opening some apps. I haven't been able to open them for a couple days.

Reset time, press and hold both the home and power buttons for 10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Release both buttons. Wait 15-20 seconds till your iPad starts on it's own. Try apps.

Can't open some apps-

I updated my work computer to Yosemite yesterday and noticed that some apps just won't open anymore. Bartender and Menuola are a couple that I've noticed. I get this pop-up with no error message, just "The application “Bartender” can’t be opened."
Steps I've tried: [unsuccessfully]
Reinstalled Yosemite
Repaired Disk Permissions
Repaired Disk
Restarted UI agents in Activity Monitor
Tried reinstalling Bartender, with/without Gatekeeper
Bartender works fin on my other computers running Yosemite. Any suggestions/solutions?

Step 1
If Mail crashes or freezes immediately on launch, try the steps suggested on this page. Sometimes a corrupt message on a mail server can be deleted by logging in to the server through its web page. If Mail still crashes on launch, skip to Step 3.

Select all your mailboxes, and then select
Mailbox ▹ Export Mailbox...
from the Mail menu bar. Export the mailboxes to the Desktop folder.
Make a note of the settings for all your Mail accounts – everything you'd need to reconstruct the settings from scratch.
Quit Mail.
Step 3
In the Finder, hold down the option key and select
Go ▹ Library
from the menu bar. Move the following items from the folder that opens to the Desktop:
Application Support/AddressBook/MailRecents-v4.abcdmr
Containers/com.apple.mail
Containers/com.apple.MailServiceAgent
Mail
Note: you are not moving the Mail application. You’re moving a folder named “Mail.”
Launch Mail. It will behave as if you were setting it up for the first time. Go through the setup process with one of your accounts, using the information you noted earlier. Test. If Mail works now, recreate the rest of your settings.
If there’s no improvement, quit Mail and put back the items you moved to the Desktop, replacing any newer ones that may have been created in their place. Stop here and post your results.
Step 4
This step should not be necessary with IMAP or Exchange mailboxes, because they synchronize automatically with the server. Nevertheless, if the mailboxes are very large, importing them may spare you the need for a long download.
If you took Step 2, import the mailboxes you exported:
File ▹ Import Mailbox...
If you skipped Step 2, look inside the Mail folder on the Desktop for a subfolder Mail/V2/Mailboxes. Import the mailboxes it contains.
Test. If Mail is still working, delete the items you moved to the Desktop in Step 3.

I can't open any apps I downloaded after connecting to the computer (itunes) for the first time! Help!

I connected my iphone 4s to my macpro for the first time to add some musci, I didn't touch the apps folder.
But after ejecting, I can't open any of the apps I downloaded. When I press on them, they just shake but nothing opens!

You shouldn't. Downloading the app re-authenticated the iTunes account on your phone. This happens to people from time to time (not sure why) but making you are logged into the Apple store in iTunes with your Apple ID prior to syncing might help.

Can't Open Some App using home wifi network, must use 3g to do it

My iPhone is 5s. Just like the title said, whenever my iPhone / iPad connected to wifi I can't connect to some games like Puzzle and Dragon even though I can browse using safari, using fb / twitter / instagram just fine. I keep getting connection error (in game of course) whenever I open that game (not only that game actually). Whenever I open the game, I can get myself automatically logged into gamecenter, but the can't connect to the game itself.
I've tried changing the dns from the default 192.168.1.1 to google's and resetting the cache (airplane mode -> on -> off). But to no avail.
Have tried to open the game on my father's iPhone and iPad, and my sister iPhone too. I suspect my problem is my wifi configuration isn't compatible to ios(?).
Sometimes I experience updating app problem too on home wifi network, I can browse app store but can't update any app.
While my phone can't, my friend's android can play the game just fine using my home's wifi network.
Please help me fix this.

First, when you are going to turn off or restart your Mac, you will see a box called "Reopen windows when logging back in" in the shutdown or restart window. Untick this box and see if the App Store opens automatically in the next startup.
If it starts, open System Preferences > Users and Groups > Login Items, and see if the App Store shows up. If so, remove it from this list

I just downloaded 3000 songs of my mac on to my iPad 3 and now I can't open any downloaded apps !

Try a reset: Simultaneosuly hold down the Home and On buttons until,themiPad shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Then restart the iPad using the on button.

I think I can help with the Cell usage issue.
You may in fact have cell data turned on, but it may be turned off for specific apps.
Please go to Settings...Cellular.
First, ensure that Cellular Data is turned on.
Next, scroll down the page and you should see a list of all your apps.
Make sure Cell data is turned on for the apps in question.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, or by a peripheral device.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output andWi-Fi on certain iMacs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

iOS apps will not open in iTunes. iTunes will sync your downloaded apps to your iOS devices (iPhone or iPad) only.
1. Login into your iTunes account
2. Authorize your Macbook Air
3. Download all your purchased apps to iTunes
4. Sync with your iPhone.

You are not on Mountain Lion anymore, right? You are on Mavericks and have downloaded Pages 5 and then created docuemnts in it which can't be opened in Pages 09.
No, you don't have to buy a newer Pages but you have to be particular about which version you use.

If I trying to open, computer just shut down and restart.
Some people suggest me to format mac os x and reinstall so I did it but still doesn't work.

If reseting the iphone still doesn't help you will want to double-click the home button and you'll see the display shift upward and a row of your app icons on the bottom, gently place your finger on one and hold until they dance, and a red ball with a white minus appear tap the minus until all of the apps are gone then press the home button once again this will clear all of your recently ran or running apps. Multitasking in iOS 4.xx the apps will NOT be deleted just stopped and cleared out of memory. This will correct the issue.

Most pics blocked on sites/programs. I can't open some programs that Explorer opens. I would sure appreciate any help!!!

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If the advice above doesn't resolve things you could try this alternate version:
iTunes 12.1.0.71 for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) - itunes64setup.exe (2015-01-28)
which is a 64-bit installer for the 32-bit version of the core application, similar to previous 64-bit releases. Or roll back to the previous build:
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (32-bit) - iTunesSetup.exe (2014-10-16)
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (64-bit) - iTunes64Setup.exe (2014-10-16)
