Can't open vpn configuration

I have tried configuring a VPN connection on my IPAD2 Wifi,,,, the settings are apparently wrong since it won't connect and I get an error stating that....
the trouble is I can't get back intop that area to change the settings
everytime i ttry to turn it on i trieds to connect says the settings are wrong but won't take me to the settings pages...
any idea how to over come that??\\\\

Yep, similar problem here. Everything works great until I launch Airport Utility and try to access the setting of my TimeCapsule. It sees the unit, but hangs when downloading the configuration. Once it starts spinning trying to download the configuration I lose my Internet access. Odd thing is the problem only appears on my iMac. My MacBook Pro doesn't have a problem.
I got it to work once by deleting the login key from my keychain (thinking it was an authorization problem). After I deleted the key it asked me for the password when I fired up Airport Utility, and then worked fine. However, the problem is back and my trick doesn't seem to be working this time.
I'm still thinking it is an error associated passing credentials for managing the AEBS/TC.

Can't open the configuration window in Airport Utility

The Airport Utility was able to recognized my AEBS, but failed to read the setting of my AEBS and therefore can't successfully opened the configuration window; just asked me to check if my computer was within range ???????

Can't save VPN configuration file

I am trying to setup the VPN services on Lion Server. I setup the shared secret, entered in a IP range and defined my VPN client host which is DYNDNS (e.g., domainname.dyndns.org). I get an error message when trying to save my configuration file that indicates I did not enter or need to enter a VPN client host but the little green symbol comes on when I enter the domain name.
I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I went back to the VPN client host and tried to enter in different VPN hosts and even resorted to using known domains just to see if I can save the file and it still will not work. Any ideas?

I had the same problem. What fixed it for me was to change the name of the config file. That was it...worked just fine.

Can't add vpn configuration on my ios 6.0 iphone

I updated my iphone 3G to ios 6.0 and can seem to set up an tether/hotspot or add configuration.

Within iTunes I use the add file/folder to music library option then sync it. That's how I did before and it worked until yesterday. Am I doing it wrong? Thanks again

You might have a corrupt download package. Uniinstall the application, restart, delete the original download file, redownload, and reinstall.

Can't open AirPort Admin Utility configuration file

I'm using an AirPort Extreme Base Station connected to a cable modem through the WAN port and to my G4 Cube running OSX 10.2.8 through the LAN port. I also use an iBook and eMac with AirPort cards to wirelessly access my network. My problem is that I can not open the configuration file so that I can change my settings. I get an error message that AirPort Admin Utility can't read the configuration file of the base station. I tried resetting the base station to the factory settings, to no avail. So now I also can't set a password and encryption. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

To clarify--I previously had a password protected network set up and working. I wanted to change the settings and couldn't open the config file. I reset to factory settings successfully, but still can't open the config file, which I need to do in order to encrypt and set a new password. Thanks!

I do not see where to enter IP addresses in the Open VPN setup. Also, how can I set it up so that I can choose different servers in the same way as I can currently choose them with my VPN app but for PPTP?

I think I have it working on my iPhone 5. But, I do not see how I can control the exit point that I would like for the VPN. Are all the exit points shown in the VPN setting now going to work with Open VPN, or do they remain PPTP? If I am reading correctly, they look like they remain PPTP. If I cannot control the exit point for open VPN, which exit point is the default in the profile you provided me?I note that Open VPN Connect does not work with any of the new 64 bit devices like the iPhone 5S, the iPad Air, and the new iPad MIni. Is there any chance that you guys will come up with an update for your app so that open VPN can be made to work on all iOS devices? Just a quick note to tell you that Open VPN has updated their app so that it is compatible with 64 bit ARM devices like the iPhone 5S, the iPad Air, and the iPad Mini Retina.That does not resolve the problem of how to easily choose among the various possibilities for the exit server. We need to find an easy way to choose.

Can I open the Mail app without configuration an email address?

I'm trying to open a .eml file, which seems possible in the Mail app. However, I can't open the Mail app without configuration an email account. Just enter anything short & plausible in as few fields as you can get away with : '[email protected]' works here, you'll get a brief 'not responding' or such at each stage, but it does allow you to use Mail.

Which Fx version? When you uninstalled Fx, did you <b>reboot</b> computer before reinstall?
Also, check for / delete any leftover files in the Fx programs install folders, before reinstall?
Is your profile in the default location or custom location?
Have you tried creating a <u>new, <b>completely</b> clean profile</u> - to test (then make sure to select that profile to start Fx - from the Profile Manager)? (no addons or plugins installed).
Does the user acct (that Fx fails under) have access ("rights") to all locations - especially for Fx profiles location?

I can't open the page of youtube with my MacBookPro (OSX 10.7 Lion) through VPN in China

I am woking in mainland China, so I have to use VPN to open the page of youtube when I am in China. However, since November 2012, I can't open it again with my MacBook Pro (OSX10.7.5 Lion) through the VPN account. But I can open the page of youtube with my old PowerBook G4 (OSX10.4.11 Tiger) through the same VPN account. Why? Can anyone help me to fix this problem? Thanks

Dear Linc Davis, I can open the other pages except those are blocked by the Chinese government ( youtube, vimeo, etc ). But I don't understand why my PowerBook G4 running with Tiger and Saferi 4.1.3 can open those pages with the same connection and the same VPN account ( as I run both Macbooks side by side since this problem occurred ).
