Can't order anything from iTunes

Suddenly can't order anything from iTunes. Nothing changed, same country, same card, but iPhone is saying I need to change stores to Finland. Never a problem before and I've been in Finland all along and ordered lots of albums. Now can't order anything.

What happens when you try to buy something, does the 'buy' button not work, do you get any error messages ... ?
If you are getting a message to contact iTunes Support then you can do so via this link and ask them for help (we are fellow users her on these forums) : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
If it's a different problem ... ?

I Have a 3.99 charge on my account but did not order anything from iTunes. What do I do?

You've checked the purchase history on your account ? If you log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option you should see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of the purchases on it. On your iPad you can only see a cut-down version of your account's purchase history (and optionally contact iTunes Support) via http://reportaproblem.apple.com
If you don't recognise the charge (and nobody else has access to your account or devices and may have made it) or you can't find it then either try contacting iTunes Support via the above 'report a problem' page, or you can contact Support via : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

  • I changed my email on my Apple ID and now I can't purchase anything from iTunes or the app store. How do I fix that?

I changed the email on my Apple ID and now my password won't work and I can't get anything from iTunes or the App store.

Try logging out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes  & App Stores on iOS 6) and then log back in and see if it then works.

  • I can't buy anything from iTunes as they keep asking me about my security questions but I haven't set any security questions

I Can't buy anything from iTunes as I haven't set any security questions but they keep asking me questions

If you log into your account on http://appleid.apple.com and select the Password And Security section of your account are you able to set them ? If not then is there a reset link beneath the questions that show on that screen (it all only show if you have have a rescue email address on your account) ?
If not then you will have to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset.
Contacting Apple about account security : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699
When they've been reset (and if you don't already have a rescue email address) you can then use the steps on this page to add a rescue email address for potential future use : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5620
Or, if it's available in your country, you could change to 2-step verification : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5570

  • Can't download anything from iTunes Store

    Hi,
I have an iPhone 5 running on IOS 6. Everything is working fine, except for I can't download anything from the iTunes Store. I can't download music, TV programs, or films. I'm pretty sure I can't download podcasts either. I can download apps absolutely fine, just not anything from the iTunes Store. As soon As I press download, it downloads as normal, but as soon as it reaches the end and says processing, as normal, it just sort of finishes. It doesn't end up in my music or videos folder. I also can't transfer any music or media from my computer to the device. As I said apps and photos and everything else is running fine.
Has anyone else had the problem? Any solutions?
    Thanks

It does indeed sound to me like that hotspot either blocks connections to the iTunes Store (quite possibly to prevent people from loading their connection up with large downloads) or has a routing problem. In either case there's probably nothing you can do other than to just use a different hotspot, though you can talk to the cafe and ask them if they're indeed blocking the iTunes Store; that would at least let you know for sure.

  • Can't Transfer ANYTHING from ITunes to IPod

just in the last week or so i've been unable to transfer anything from itunes to my ipod. this includes podcasts and purchased music. i have no idea what the problem is. the other night i left the two to sync for at least 10 hours and when i checked it the next morning it was barely halfway through the first import. i also try to eject my ipod and my comp freezes and im forced to turn off my comp and restart my frozen ipod. (it stays in the 'do not disconnect' stage) i am running itunes 6, but this problem just started recently. i havent been able to update my ipod or load any new podcasts in forever, please help!!

Okay, now I'm really unhappy. Since my last post a few days ago, I bit the bullet (really, I just needed the excuse) and bought a brand new 60 GB 5G video ipod. Connects via USB (annoying, but at least we are on completely different set of ports from the firewire), and guess what? THE EXACT SAME BEHAVIOR! All 8+ GB of my purchased music (and videos) does not transfer. The same error message about the iPod software being too old. This is truly ridiculous.
My machine checks out okay with Diskwarrior, I've run Applejack repeatedly to fix permissions, clear the caches, check preference files, etc., cleared the pram, and have reset the machine via open firmware. I'm exasperated to say the least. I've even de- and re-authorized the computer for the music store.
Now to add some complexity to this mess, my subscribed podcasts DO transfer over. Is this a DRM issue? Something about iTunes is wonky here. I'll keep poking around, but I'm having a very hard time with this being acknowledged as a problem. For many people, including me, this has been going on for several months.

  • Can't download anything from itunes/app store after 5.0.1

I've read a few discussions on this topic but have yet to find any solution that works, so I'm reposting hoping someone has an idea.
We have an ipad 16gig, and recently updated to iOS 5.0.1. (via WiFi, this isn't a 3G model). Immediately after setting up after the update, the iPad can no longer update apps, download new apps, download iBooks, download songs, podcasts ... basically anything from the iTunes or App store. All are met with the message:
"Unable to Download (name here) - (name here) could not be downloaded at this time." with a Done or Retry button.
The same thing occurs for all apps, music, podcasts, etc... same message each time.
During the setup after the update was installed, we agreed to the new iTunes/App Store agreement, so I don't think it's that case where iTunes can't do anything because the Agree option got lost somewhere. I also don't have any downloads pending that need to be paused.
Solutions I have tried so far:
    1. Restarting and resetting the iPad, both via the power button, and holding down the power button / home button.
    2. Signing out of iTunes/App store, re-signing in, with two different Apple IDs.
    3. A full restore of the iPad from my computer via iTunes.
    4. Attempting to buy something free from iTunes or the App Store (somewhere this was suggested as a solution). Some descriptions of this solution implied it was to force itunes to ask you to agree to the new TOS, this hasn't happened, and we agreed to the new TOS when 5.0.1 started up.
    5. Resetting my router. Didn't think this was the issue but did it anyway.
Googling the issue, apart from the above solutions, I've encountered something about "permissions" on a folder to which apps are downloaded being set wrong by the update, but I have no clue how to address that, it seemed to have something to do with "jailbreak" ipads of which this is not.
I'm about ready to take it to the Apple store but I was hoping I could find something online first, and spare confusing some poor Apple employee.

    I found a solution, and it's horrible.
    1. Back up your data. I used iCloud, but I also made a restore file through itunes, though you CAN'T USE THAT RESTORE TO FIX THIS PROBLEM. It will just install the problem anew! Delightful!.
And then,  basically do this: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137 which translates to:
    2. Settings > General > Reset > Erase all data
    3. Set up your iPad as a new ipad - if you choose to restore from an old restore file, you'll just reinstall the original problem.
    4. Connect to iCloud to reclaim your iCloud stuffs.
    5. Spend the next hour annoyed and frustrated as you restore your music, photos, apps, etc... to what you think you had them.
But miraculously, this let our ipad download apps again.
Again, restoring from a backup will not fix the problem.
All this speaks to some issue that requires the drive on the ipad to be reformatted with new permissions, or something, which is pretty **** annoying. Waiting to see the problem re-appear after it's finished syncing my music. Hurray!

  • Can't download anything from iTunes/App store

For the past week, everytime I try to download anything from the App store or iTunes I get a message saying "Unable to Download App" then it says "name of app/song trying to download" could not be downloaded at this time.  Done or Retry.
I have logged out of iCloud, iTunes and my AppleiD and nothing has worked.  I went online on my Mac and updated my credit card (which was not out of date) and tried to buy a sont on my Mac...purchased, but could not be downloaded.  All my devices are having the same problem.  In the Error details on my Mac it says to check the Internet connection and try again.  My wifi is working fine on my mac and iPhone.
    Any suggestions?

  • HT201272 can't download anything from itunes store say's part of the file is corrupt

I have been trying to update apps for my iphone 5. I have the most current version of itunes. I also have tried to purchase new music and cant do that. I did in the beginning have ability to download but only for short time. I have been to MS making sure there are no conflicts. I need help....

  • Can't download anything from iTunes Store...  From only one wifi hotspot

    Hello
I am having trouble with downloading stuff from the iTunes Store. When I click on an app for instance to download it asks me for me password as usual, I enter it, then it disappears and nothing happens. It's the most irritating issue. It's only happening at one wifi hotspot at a cafe. I've tried using my iphone to download as well, it hangs, then finally says can't connect to iTunes Store. I have downloaded things at other hotspots with no issues whatsoever so it can't be my iPhone or Macbook. I reckon the hotpot doesn't allow those kind of downloads. I might be wrong though, don't really have an idea. Does anyone have any ideas that I can try?
    Thanks
    Greg Russell

  • I can't purchase anything from iTunes on my iPad or iPod. Getting Fatal Error but password works on iTunes online.

I can go to iTunes on my computer and log in and everything is fine but if I try to purchase anything on my iPod or iPad I get a Fatal error and it keeps asking for my password.  It's really frustrating since I know my password works!  I've restarted both devices and still nothing.

See http://www.maclife.com/article/news/itunes_store_users_being_kicked_out_accounts _fatal_error. It's a known apple issue regarding the ability to sign into iTunes, apple says they cannot give an estimated time as to when it will be fixed, but it has been ongoing since Wednesday afternoon

  • I can't download anything from itunes.  I keep getting error 11111

Does anyone have a clue on this?  I just recently bought a new system with Windows 8, and I'm trying download some previously downloaded songs and apps.  I have 10.7.0.21 build (64 bit).
I can download new items, but I can't download previously purchased items, or updates to items that are already on my computer.  It's driving me crazy.

I have this problem too, I cannot download purchased app from either ipad mini or mac itunes store. Is it the problem of the server?

  • I can't buy anything from Itunes

In the past, I had some security problems, and itunes decided to disable my account for security reasons.
Then later on, I could change my password etc. For some reason, whenever I try to buy a song, this pops up
"You Apple ID has been disabled"
I don't know what to do since this is the first time happening .

Thank you! I just now sent out an email to Itunes!
I was searching through google, and apparently I'm not the only one who experienced this issue. :/
