Can't Own a Camera Phone

I work in the Government sector and am not allowed to have a camera or camera phone at work. Has anyone heard if Apple has plans on manufacturing the same IPhone sans the camera? AT&T, Verizon, etc. currently do this with other popular phones models, such as some of their Blackberry's and the Palm Treo's.
If a IPhone without camera installed is not forthcoming, does anyone know if the camera can be tenporarily or permanently disabled?

It isn't AT&T or Verizon that do this - it is the cell phone manufacturer that offers a non-camera model which the cellular provider decides to carry.
No one here knows if Apple has such plans but IMO I think this is very doubtful.
I recall a thread here a while back regarding this very thing. Are you saying you would be able to present the iPhone at the security desk each day or each time when entering the building demonstrating that the camera function has been disabled - permanently or temporarily? If temporarily would be acceptable, how about a case that completely covers the small camera lens located on the back side of the iPhone?
Disabling the camera function itself would require hacking the iPhone to remove the camera operation.

Yes, just turn DATA OFF (or put it in airplane mode to turn Data/Voice off) to avoid data charges. Then turn wifi on when available.
You can definitely take as many pictures with your Trophy as you'd like at no cost to you. It would be best to turn the data off so you won't have roaming charges. I would also like to just add this link that gives you the International Data Roaming Rates

No, but you can save a photo on FaceBook.
Try downloading/saving the video from FaceBook on your computer. If successful, after doing so you can transfer the video to your iPhone along with any photos on your computer or alone. They transfer won't be in the Camera Roll, it will be in your iPhone's Photo Library.

Yes that is correct - BUT you cannot get onto the phone itself without Passcode or Fingerprint if you have that set up..

Yes, you can 'bring your own phone' and it shouldn't affect your current calling plan. You'll need to add a data plan, though, if you're on a Nationwide calling plan, and you may need to adjust the data portion of your plan if you're on a More Everything plan.

Can I use Keychain without owning a SMS phone?

I can not set-up keychain on my new iMac. On my iPad and iPod, it gets to a point where it asks for either the telephone number for a SMS (short messaging) phone or tells me a password is being sent to my phone (not SMS). Can't you use the new keychain without owning a cell phone?

The email is simple. Just delete her email acoount on her iPhone and configure your account into the phone and then do the same for her on your phone.
The harder issue is that to switch the cellular phone service you will need to switch the SIM cards and the two phones do not use the same size SIM card.

You can't use find my phone from your phone if your other family members use another iCloud account.
You have two options depending on why you want to find the phones.
Use find my phone at iCloud.com on a mac/PC and log in using their account.
Use the find my friends app

I'm having same problems. If I connect my blackberry it says it uses too much power. If I take sd card out of phone and connect that way I get the same message. The leaflet with the connector says go to Apple.com/support/iPad to find list of compatible cameras.......... I'm still trawling the site to find any such list! Just need to know if it will work with a blackberry ..... If not I've got to take it back. Have been advised by a friend to cut my losses get my money back and use Bump to transfer my pics. Dear Nokia,
I am a huge photo addict and i cannot tell u how excited i was when i first lay my hands on the famous 41Mpx of the nokia 1020. Still - this camera phone became the worst - especially with the nokia black OS update.
With Nokia black update i choose to finally take my high res pix into the .DNG format.
The previous settings (34Mp JPEG) was not satisfactory as clearly the jpeg compression in the phone was not good enough.
Now that i take 41Mpix .DNG files - here are my issues :
- No way to retrieve the original 41Mpx that to plug a USB cable to my PC (come on - we are getting to 2014!)
- No way to watch my brand new raw pictures as .DNG is unsupported by Win8 (i needed to download an Adobe .DNG codec that still does not display thumbnail correctly in Win Explorer - but at least i can open them)
- No way to share my high res pictures : as neither SkyDrive, nor Flickr or any website do accept .DNG files uploaded
- Even when i convert my .dng file to uncompressed .jpeg or .png... well once uploaded to SkyDrive, the thumbnail created by SkyDrive is recompressing the pictures and showing the ugly pixel squares in the skies i wanted to avoid.
- the Low Res 5 Mpix of my pictures - i can share wirelessly anywhere - but they all look worse than any average phone picture (iPhone 4S would do an 8 Mpix of any pictures)
So i have got a hard time to understand your strategy here : why anyone would shift from high res .jpeg (12Mb per pictures) to high res .dng (41 Mb per picture!) on a 32Gb storage phone... if none of this pictures can be watched on a PC or decently shared on the internet ???
At least you could have tried better by adopting a more compatible format like .RAW ?
Unhappy customer (who would have loved to praise the 1020 and ditch his iPhone forever...)

DNG images are supposed to be processed and edited before sharing. The format is owned by Adobe which would be why you need their codec/applications.
I would suggest you teach yourself the basics of photo editing and composition as from your remarks it would seem you expect expert results to happen as if by magic which will not happen. You images will only be as good as your imagination and creativity.
Stay on processed and auto mode if you feel you are not able to properly deal with DNG files as this is not as easy as many seem to think. DNG mode _depends_ on you doing the processing of the images and knowing what you are doing and how to do it.

Problems Emailing to Web Gallery From Camera Phone

I have a Sony Ericcson camera phone that has a mail client which I have set up to use GMail for both incoming and outgoing mail. I can't seem to get Web Gallery to accept the picture emails I send from the phone. The only thing I can conclude is that the server accepting the emails has problems parsing the message. I can use my desktop computer to send the image to Web Gallery, so it's there's nothing wrong with the image itself. I've also tried configuring my phone to use an AT&T mail server to send the picture, but have the same problems, so it's not the mail servers. I've also sent a full sized image (2 megapixels) as well as a small version (640x480) to see if it's related to file size, but they fail as well. Interestingly enough, I can send videos that I take from my phone to Web Gallery and it gets posted, so I figure it's not the phone.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? I've included the failure notice email I get back from the Web Gallery mail servers below if it can help diagnose the problem. Thanks.

After many trial and errors, I figured out that the web gallery mail servers were choking because the filenames my phone gives photos have capital ".JPG" extensions. If I change them to lowercase, the pictures get posted. Unfortunately, I can't rename the files inside the phone and need to transfer them out to my mac via bluetooth before I can rename it. To solve the problem for myself, I created an email address on another hosted website that pipes mail to a script that rewrites the problematic portions before sending it to my web gallery. It's somewhat of a roundabout way of doing it, but it works for now.
Hopefully the web gallery mail servers will be corrected to handle this situation.

I can no longer unlock my phone or turn it off.

I've recently downloaded the iOS 7, and now I cannot slide to unlock my phone, I can't even turn my phone off because it won't allow me to slide it. I am able to pull down the notification center, and pull up the control center but when I do this I am unable to press anything if both centers. I can't even access my camera from the lock screen anymore! There was no water spillage, I didn't drop to on the floor. I just locked the screen, and put it on my desk. Came back to it, and it wouldn't open. Prior to this issue my phone was very VERY buggy with almost everything. There was multiple crashes and multiple viewing issues. Please help me! My iphone is my only source of contact besides my ipad (which I'm using now) and I'm a college student who's desperate. Thank you!

I would first try to reset the device:
Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
