  • I can't pair the Bose SoundLink speaker

Last night the SoundLink speaker worked fine from my iPad2; today: nothing. I tried depressing the mute button on the speaker until all 3 LEDs came on. I tried pressing the Bluetooth button until the speaker beeped indicating that settings were cleared. I downloaded the current Bose driver. I updated the iPad iOS to 7.0.2. I tried pushing and depressing buttons again. I deleted the SoundLink from the list of Bluetooth devices. I deleted the other device in the list. I pushed and depressed more buttons. Nothing.
This is very frustrating as the standard fixes don't seem to work. Are there any other suggestions?

  • Pairing bluetooth Bose soundlink mini

I have a HP Pavilion g6 and want to pair it with a Bose Soundlink Mini bluetooth speaker - it doesn't work.  Any help would be appreciated.  Very frustrating.   It paired with my iPad and iPhone easily.

After a whole day of searching and digging I have found the solution.
Uninstall the old driver (remove the driver) and install the driver from the link:
    http://www.filedropper.com/processing/filedownload.php?id=btw6209700
It takes a bit to install, but after that it works perfectly!
    Peace out!

  • Can't get Bose Soundlink to work with iTunes 11

I have a Bose Soundlink speaker that connects via bluetooth.  Prior to iTunes 11, the connection worked very well and reliably.  Then iTunes 11...
Now,  I can get the bluetooth to pair with the Soundlink but the music won't play.  Click play, nothing.  Click pause, nothing.  Disconnect the Soundlink and the music starts playing through the computer speakers.  Re-connect the Soundlink, iTunes locks up again.  I've tried re-booting and powering off the Soundlink, manually re-connecting the bluetooth connection and still notta.
    Any ideas much appreciated.
Also, anyone else feel like iTunes 11 is way more resource intensive?  I'm constantly seeing the little rainbow swirl now when in iTunes as the computer bogs down.  I don't recall this being the case in iTunes 10.x.

I should clarify that when trying to play music when connected to the Bose, the music does not play at all.  The song does not progress and the time on the song doesn't move.  Disconnect and the song immediately starts playing.  Re-connect and it stops, no audio but also no movement of the song itself.
Also, if I can play music on the Bose with my iPhone with no problem.

  • I can connect my Iphone 6 and Ipad Air to my Bose Soundlink but not my IMac.  I have tried all the usual solutions but nothing works.  It has worked recently but not in the last week. Help

I can connect my Iphone 6 and Ipad Air to my Bose Soundlink but not my IMac.  I have tried all the usual solutions but nothing works.  It has worked recently but not in the last week. Help

make sure it's not being connected to by any of the other two
one can only connect 1 device at the time and just by waking up sometimes a headset connects to a device
    automaticly
then forget the bluetooth device in OS X and put the headset in pairing mode / discovery mode and connect with it once again with the mac

  • How do I set upmy Imac to allow using both my computer speakers and a Bose SoundLink system as outputs at the same time.  I can use one or the other, but not both.

how do I set up my Imac to allow using both my computer speakers and a Bose SoundLink system as outputs at the same time.  I can use one or the other, but not both.  From systems Preferences I must select one or the other.  I want both to work all the time.

    Hi,
I would recommend you to use 0FI_AP_4 rather using both, particularly for many reasons -
    1. DS: 0FI_AP_4  replaces DataSource 0FI_AP_3 and still uses the same extraction structure. For more details refer to the OSS note 410797.
    2. You can run the 0FI_AP_4 independent of any other FI datasources like 0FI_AR_4 and 0FI_GL_4 or even 0FI_GL_14. For more details refer to the OSS note: 551044.
    3. Map the 0FI_AP_4 to DSO: 0FIAP_O03 (or create a Z one as per your requirement).
    4. Load the same to a InfoCube (0FIAP_C03).
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

  • Trouble pairing Mac 10.8.5 with BOSE Soundlink Mini

I have trouble paring my iMac 10.8.5 with BOSE SoundLink Mini

Same problem here. My Bose Soundlink Mini worked fine with Snow Leoprd, but Mavericks can't find it at all. I had thought my upgrade to Mavericks yesterday had shown the robustness of the new OS, but apparently not.
Is there a fix for this?

  • Satellite L750-1DR - can't connect Bose Soundlink speaker

Recently the bluetooth connection from my laptop to my Bose Soundlink II speaker has been erratic.
But in the last 2 days I haven't been able to get a connection at all. I've tried everything I can find on the various forums - pressing and holding the mute button on the speaker, pressing and holding the bluetooth button but no joy.
I've now disconnected the speaker and can't get it connected again - the wizard is unable to find it.
To clarify, yes the device is set to discoverable, it sits right beside my laptop and I haven't made any other changes or installed any new programmes in the last few days
The speakers connect perfectly to my Blackberry and Ipad.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks :)

Sorry, I don't know what you mean by BT headset or BT Module. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Toshiba Bluetooth stack if that's any help but still no joy.
When I go to Bluetooth Managerand select "add new connection" nothing happens but eventually a box appears to ask if I want to add a new connection. It eventually recognises the Bose speaker but when I try to connect to it I get a message saying "an error occurred".
I connected the laptop via Bluetooth to my Blackberry and it works fine. So the laptop is connecting to other devices as is the speaker but the only problem is laptop to speaker. This is driving me crazy! Thanks.

  • Can't pair iphone 5c to ipad mini

Both devices will pair with a Bose soundlink mini, and the iphone has paired successfully to my car Jabra. I've turned each device on/off, turned bluetooth button on/off for good measure. Both tell me to have the other turned "on and in range", [which they are and in the same room]and that the pairing was unsuccessful. House has wifi.
    Iphone 5c is 32GB  version 8.1.2
Ipad mini is 32GB version 8.1.2
    Thanks for any help.

No. The iPhone is not designed to pair with an iPad or a computer via Bluetooth except for personal hotspot and then only if your cellular plan supports it. It does use Bluetooth for things like Continuity and Airdrop but in those cases Bluetooth must be turned on for both devices but they are not paired. The following has more information including a link to the Bluetooth Profiles the iPhone does support: Bluetooth: Why can't I pair my iPhone or iPad with my computer?

  • My Bose SoundLink stopped connecting to my Macbook Pro OSX 10.8.2

Hi, I know this is probably to a other threads but nothing read seemed to help.
I have a Bose SoundLink and it worked just fine with my Macbook Pro for about the first 4 months. Around December it stopped connecting. I can see the device on my Mac, the Soundlink just want connect. I have no problems connecting with my iPhone.
So far I've deleted and re-paired the soundlink a couple times as well as messed with the bluetooth settings (but restored them). I don't think it is the bitrate problem others are having because it won't connect at all. Could it have something to do with the newest version of Mountain Lion?
    Thanks in advance.

So... as per your suggestion I got  a solution from the friendly folks at Bose. I did a system reset (as described below) and problem solved! Here is the email with a couple things to try that may be helpful to others:
    Thank you for your inquiry.
If you are unable to pair your Bluetooth enabled device to the SoundLink Wireless Mobile Speaker, there are several issues that could be contributing to this.
First, be sure the source’s Bluetooth function is on. Many Bluetooth enabled devices have an option where the Bluetooth feature can be turned on or off. Be sure this option is set to on.
If this does not help, a system reset may restore the connection. To do this, press and hold the Mute button for ten seconds. The LED lights on the SoundLink will flash briefly. Press the Power button to turn the system back on.
If this does not help, and the SoundLink speaker has been previously paired to the Bluetooth enabled device, it should automatically reconnect when its Bluetooth function is turned on. If the SoundLink Speaker does not automatically reconnect, manually select the Bose system within the Bluetooth device list on the device (cell phone, computer, etc.).
If the Bluetooth enabled device has not been paired to the SoundLink, follow these steps to connect the two devices:
Put the SoundLink Mobile Speaker into discoverable mode. To do this, with the SoundLink speaker turned on, press and hold the Bluetooth button on the speaker for five seconds. The Bluetooth indicator will slowly fade on and off approximately once a second. The SoundLink speaker will remain in discoverable mode for twenty minutes, or until a Bluetooth connection is completed.
To pair a Bluetooth enabled computer, the computer (or attached Bluetooth dongle) must support the A2DP or Bluetooth Stereo Profile. Refer to the computer’s owners guide for more information. If the computer or dongle meets this specification, follow these steps:
    1. Refer to the computer or dongle owners guide to determine how to set it into discoverable mode.
    2. Wait for Bose SoundLink Mobile Speaker to appear as an available device, then select it.
    3. Enter the numbers 0000 when your computer requests any of the following:
    -          Passcode
    -          Passkey
    -          PIN code
    4. Select ‘Yes” to confirm this connection, as needed (if your computer requires it). The computer should display Connecting” with the Bluetooth icon. When the connection is made, the Bluetooth icon on the SoundLink speaker will stop flashing.
    5. If the audio output device on the computer does not default to the Bluetooth Adapter automatically, select the computer’s audio output device in your computer’s audio settings menu.
We also recommend that the software be updated to the latest version if this has not already been done. Please click on the following link to update the software to the current version:
