Can't perform a Apple Hardware Test because the alternate menu does not appear after pressing "D" while it restarts. What can I do?
I followed the instructions on the macbook manual and inserted the disk, i pressed and hold "D" but the menu did not appear.
I want to know if there is anything that can be done.

Is the DVD you are trying to use the original install DVD or a retail Snow Leopard DVD

You don't in the condition it's in. You will either have to get the phone replaced by Apple or pay a 3rd party to repair it.

Hi! The "chapter" menu does not appear when I open a book in itunes. How can I make it appear? In fact, one time it did appear, but it seems to have been more of an incident.
Books are meant to be read on your Devices through iBook App and will not work on iTunes.

I got a apple remote but the menu does not appear on the computer when pressing the menu bottom!?
Prior to Lion, it used to invoke the menu of the FrontRow application. FrontRow is no longer available with Lion. The menu button will work with apple TV.

I can"t open the apple hardware test from the applecare support website
i received the applecare training program for my birthday and while exploring the applecare service source website i found a image file of the apple hardware test (AHT) for each model along with a pdf of the service manual and a pdf of the AHT service codes. The problem i'm having is, i cant open the image of the AHT.
After downloading that image, open it and it will show up mounted in your desktop. Then, open Disk Utility (in /Applications/Utilities), right-click your Apple Hardware Test image in the sidebar and burn it to a DVD. Finally, start your computer from the disc, holding the C key, so Apple Hardware Test should start, always that you have the correct version for your computer.
You have Apple Hardware Test in the Applications disc that came with the computer. In that case, hold the D key while your computer is starting -

I can't get my password manager working. It remembers passwords for websites but when I enter in a new password (because this had to be changed) or when I have a new username + PW that I wish to save, the password manager does not appear.
If you updated your existing account then try logging out of it on the iPhone by tapping on the id in Settings > iTunes & App Stores and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on the iPad.
If you created a new account then you can log out of the old account and in with the new one as above, but any content that you purchased/downloaded via the old account will remain tied to that old account, and only that old account can re-download its content and download updates to its apps. -
When I complete all the steps to create Apple ID.In part that requires the credit card i dont have credit card and the option none does not appear.What can I do?

My main menu does not appear when I turn on my apple TV first generation, how do I restore my main menu screen?
When I turn on, it asks for language choice, then it asks for 1080i, then it asks for network choices. I choose my network, then it asks for my network password. I enter the password, then it say it does not connect to network, and if I hit menu on remote, it goes back to network selection. I can not get to main menu to see my setting for the network, because there is no menu.

How to get a question in the course placed anywhere in the course and does not appear in the quiz result or total number of questions. Pretest would work except it can't go anywhere in the course (at least for me it can't)
Use a normal question, and do not add the score to the total score. That will give you a correct score at the end. But the total number of questions, that system variable will still take into account all questions. You'll need a user variable, and calculate its value by subtracting 1 from the system variable cpQuizInfoTotalQuestionsPerProject. Same for the progress indicator if you want to show it?

If you want to allow Review, you'll have to tweak as well. You didn't specify the version, and all those questions I now mentioned.
And my approach, since you talk about only one question: create a custom question, because you'll have total control then. -

I also had the same error on one of my servers, and it was because the user that created the database no longer worked for the company.
So when his AD account got deleted, the database had NULL as owner
Using the following query I asked for the owners of the databases:
select name, suser_sname(sid) from master.dbo.sysdatabases
So changing the owner of the databases that had a NULL owner solved the issue for me.
use <databasesname>
go
exec sp_changedbowner 'sa'

A word document was emailed to me. I can open the document without a problem on my iPad 2. Is there a way for me to type on the document.... to fill out the form? When I click the fields, the virtual keyboard does not appear.
If you want to edit a word document then you will need an app on your iPad that supports word so that you can copy them to it via 'open in' e.g. Apple's Pages app or a third-party app such as Documents To Go or QuickOffice HD

In Apple mail, the attachment symbol does not appear in the list of sent items. So you cannot sort sent emails based on whether or not they have an attachment. Is there a way to fix this?
I think my question wasn't clear. I know how to display the attachment header (I use classic layout) but the problem is that the paperclip icon does not appear against the messages that contain attachments. See screenshot below. The attachment column is displayed but is blank. These are my sent items and I know for a fact that most of them have attachments. Can you help?
