Can't print from my laptop to network printer HP CP1515n

Hi,
in our office we have a HP CP1515n printer on the network set to a static ip. Everyone but me can print on it so I guess the printer is set up correctly. Even I was able to print on it till a couple of weeks ago. I don't remmember changing anything specifically.
I tried reinstalling the drivers and everything seems allright:
I tried running HP Print and Scan Doctor and it said everything checked-out fine:
But when I try to print the test page, it does not print. I noticed that What is printing window says the printer is out of paper, but it's not and I don't get that message on other computers:

I found the answer almost as soon as I posted this It was a vpn client software and the virtual network adapter that got me the same IP range as the my LAN. When I disabled it and did a ipconfig /release /renew the printer started to print.

This happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout,or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes .

You just resync your iPhone with iTunes on your laptop.
If you are logged with the same Apple ID on both devices it should be available to download from your phone:
Open App Store app > Updates > Purchased

Is there a way i can unsync phone4s from my laptop ?

There is no undo.
iTunes content can be transferred from a single computer only and the same for photos.
When transferring iTunes content and photos from a different computer, all iTunes content and photos transferred from another computer will be erased from the iPhone first.

I would try resetting the PIM Conduit. To do this, on your PC, go to Start > Programs > Palm > PIM Conduit Sync.. Click sync to Palm Desktop.
After that go back to Start > Programs > Palm > PIM Conduit Sync > and click on Outlook this time.
Try syncing and let me know what happens. I have a feeling that either something isn't right in where the data is being told to go or right now Palm Desktop is your default handler. Either way, try this and let me know if it resolves your issue or not.

Can't connect from PC laptop

As did many others yesterday I had problems with Airport Extreme after the firmware update. I finally got that resolved, but now I can't connect wirelessly from my pc laptop. The network is visible and shows up as Automatic. Previously it came up as Manual. Because of the age of my network card I have to have a 13 place password and I do. When I try to connect the password defaults to something much shorter, but replacing the password doesn't help. I also show no signal strength, but I had that same situation when I first installed AE and it was resolved once the password issue was resolved. I think the Manual versus Automatic may be a clue, but I have no idea how to make it Manual. Thanks for any assistance.

Under Network Connections (if Windows XP), right-click your wireless network, and choose Properties.
Click the Wireless Networks tab, and then delete the network under Preferred networks before adding it back in.

You can use Target Mode if you have a firewire cable connected. This procedure is outlined in Mac Help. It reads as follows:

FireWire target disk mode allows a Macintosh computer with a FireWire port (the target computer) to be used as an external hard disk connected to another computer (the host). Once a target computer is started up as a FireWire hard disk and is available to the host computer, you can copy files to or from that volume.
Important: The computer will not go into FireWire target disk mode if "Open Firmware Password" has been enabled.

FaceTime was a Download for Snow Leopard.
It is a Standalone app that can do 1-1 video with other FaceTime users (on Macs and iOS devices (iPhones and iPads) )
You need an Apple ID for this to work and from within the app during the set up process you tell Apple you are going to FaceTime with this ID.
If your Buddies are using AIM and you want to Video to them then you will need to use iChat.
That will mean getting an AIM valid Screen Name.
Some Apple IDs ending in @mac.com or @me.com are valid AIM Screen Names (although iCloud issued @me.com ones will only work in iChat 6)
Use the App Store app and search for FaceTime

1. Right click speaker icon (right hand corner)
2. Select Playback devices
3. Right click Speakers
4. Enable it

Can I play tracks from my iPod via Airport Express on only from my laptop?

I can play tracks from my laptop thorugh my Bose Lifestyle Airport Express. Is there a way to play tracks from my iPod Touch through my Bose system via Airport Express? My Airport Express is set up as a client to my Sky Broadband wireless router.

I set up my laptop to my Bose Lifestyle System via Airport Express. It may be different for MAC but I just downloaded the Airport Express software and followed the on-screen set-up procedure, which includes entering your WI-FI key. I do not have an iPad. You need to select Airport Express in iTunes as your sound media. This is easily switched by an icon in the bottom right corner of the screen. You will need to switch this back if you want to revert to using the laptop speakers.

Can't connect from mavericks (MBP) to mountain lion (MacPro) via Wifi

i am trying to google for answers to this and i just come up with answers about connections to printers or hdmi or TV's etcetera.
the problem is that i can connect to my laptop (macbook pro) from my desktop (mac pro) but i can't connect from my laptop (MBP) to my desktop (mac pro). i used to be able to do this but for some reason all i see if "Share Screen" or "Disconnect" and my iCloud Account is listed as "Connected As" but there is no data shown in Finder.
does anyone know what search terms i can google for or if there is a Settings section that i should be checking?
i tried dragging the Mac Pro icon out of the Shared section and i tried hitting disconnect as well as restarting both machines and turning off wifi on the laptop (hmmm. maybe i will shut both down at the same time...?) and so far no solutions.
right now i have to go to the desktop to move files around and this is a major pain.
i can see the network and i can print...

also, i am starting to wonder is it possible that the "Computer Name" has changed itself on the network or is it possible that i have some control over /naming/ the computer? it seems to often be named "MyName Mac Pro (2)" which always bothers me since there is no 1 Mac Pro and i would like to get rid of the appended 2.
but ALSO i don't recall ever having changed anything in system preferences so i am wondering if somehow the computer renamed itself or something weird has happened.
finally, is it possible something is amiss with the fact that FINDER says it is connected via my icloud EMAIL account at the top of the Finder window on my Laptop whereas when i check just now on the desktop it shows that i am connnected as the SHORT NAME of my LAPTOP. i mean, when i connec tto the laptop from the desktop it shows me connected as the short name of the laptop but when i connect to the desktop as the laptop - it says i am connnected as the name of my ICLOUD ACCOUNT and i am thinking it should say i am connected as the name of my MAC PRO SHORT NAME.
you know what i mean? is there a place in the LAPTOP to check where i input what name and password i am connecting to the Mac Pro under...

While it is possible, doing so is in direct violation of Apple's EULA. It is illegal. As others have said, search before posting. Furthermore, Apple has designed OSX for a known set of hardware that they design themselves. If you do manage to get it installed, it likely won't work as advertised.
Given your current setup, I would suggest that you try to sell off your current laptop and get an MacBook Air (or MacBook Pro if you can get enough from your laptop). The MacBook Air currently starts at just under 1k - or just over for the larger screen.
Would you mind providing your working budget?
