Can't print...no theme available

When I select print I get this message "There were no themes located. Until at least one theme has been installed, this feature will be unavailable." I recently reinstalled iPhoto, did I mess things up?

If the move doesn't take then you'll have to do the following;
Restoring iPhoto Themes
1 - delete the current application.
2 - delete any files with iPhoto in the file name that reside in your HD/Library/Receipts folder.
3 - delete the Themes folder from your User/Library/Application Support/iPhoto folder.
Also look in the HD/Library/Application Support/iPhoto folder for a Themes folder. If there is one there then delete it also.
5 - boot into the system disk that came with your computer and do a custom install selecting only iPhoto.
After installing reinstall the iPhoto updaters again followed by a repair of disk permissions with Disk Utility. Also make sure you're running the latest Quicktime

Can you print the "theme" you used to make the dvd onto the dvd?

I used the roadtrip theme. I want to print directly on to the dvd, and I want to use the same roadtrip theme. can you do this? how? if possible.

Is this the background you're looking for?
It's located in the HD/Library/Application Support/iDVD/Themes/iDVD 6/Road Trip-Main.theme/Contents/Resources folder. Or you can just drag the background image from this post to your Desktop.
If you want to have the images you added to the dropzones included then take a screenshot of the iDVD window as Klaus1 suggested. That will give you a 72 dpi image like this:
with the dropzones filled of course.

Can't print through Time Capsule using Windows-operating computers

I've just bought a time capsule 500GB and it's working fine. It backups my macbook every hour and I can easily print whatever file I want through my Canon iP1800 series, which is connect to WAN port of my time capsule.
However, I have others 2 notebooks running windows, and I can't print from them wirelessly. I've installed the airport utility and Bonjour in both computers using the CD that came with my time capsule and I followed these instructions of an old topic here (_but it didn't work out_):
“1. Make sure the printer is recognized by the base station.
2. Select 'Add a new printer' in Windows
3. Select 'Local Printer' in the dialog box (auto detect and install
should be off), click next.
4. Choose 'Create a new port' and "Standard TCP/IP Port'. Click next.
5. For the printer IP address, enter the address of the base station 10.0.1.1. The port name will be filled automatically. Click next.
6. For the device type, choose 'Hewlet Packard Jet Direct', then click Finish.
Choose your printer from the list and follow the rest of the prompts to install and configure the driver.”
Do someone have any idea to tell me what's happening? How can I fix this problem and have Mac and Windows laptops printing through my time capsule?

When you installed bonjour did the Bonjour Print Wizard appear on your desktop? Or in the program menu?

In my personal experience Bonjour sometimes doesn't install properly and doesn't appear on either the desktop or program menu, particularly if it is installed at the same time as another piece of apple software. Each of the times this happened I removed bonjour, using Windows Setup:Add/Remove programs, and then downloaded it again individually.
If you have the same experience as me you'll then be asked if you want to install a shortcut to the printer wizard. The wizard has done the trick for me. I've not yet had to resort to the rather more complicated "add new printer" route.

Post 10.5.6 can't print to either of my HP printers

I've got a macbook and macbook air. The MBA is 10.5.5 still and can print to my HP 2600n no problems. My macbook, now running 10.5.6 can't
I've got a 2600n and an Officejet J7500,
Both get errors
pstopdffilter / pstocupsraster err 13 when I try to print.
I've rebooted both printers. I've deleted and reinstalled the printers, no joy.
What's weird is I can see both of them over bonjour, and even see their status and toner levels. just can't print to them. Any thoughts?

Interesting timing on your problem, especially since you can 'see' the printer via bonjour. This is something that would be an easy and worthwhile test...
Many folks have been reporting slow/strange Internet access issues after updating to 10.5.6 and it appears that Apple changed something in their implementation of IPv6. Go into your network preferences and for either your Airport or Ethernet connection, whichever one you use or both for that matter, and under TCP/IP change the IPv6 option from Automatic to Off and see if that fixes the printing problem.
It'll be interesting to see if this does anything for you, as it would help to confirm problems with networking that other users have reported with 10.5.6.

YOu need to reinstall iPhoto.

2b: On 10.6: Those receipts may be found as follows: In the Finder use the Go menu and select Go To Folder. In the resulting window type
/var/db/receipts/
2c: on 10.7 or later they're at
/private/var/db/receipts
A Finder Window will open at that location and you can remove the iPhoto pkg files.

If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.
If you purchased it on the App Store or have a Recent Mac you can find it in your Purchases List.

You'll have to resintall iPhoto. If you Mac came with Lion or later preinstalled go to the App Store, sign in with the Apple ID and password used to purchase or register the iMac, go to Purchases and redownload and install iPhoto.
If your Mac came with Snow Leopard or earlier preinstalled use the disks that came with your Mac or an iLife3 to reinstall iPhoto and then update thru Software Updater.

I don't get it, I read one post about why would we have to buy an AirPrint Printer when we have used the "print to a wifi printer" just fine in the past? Yes I feel that's exactly what's happening to me now too. I want to print from my iPhone and iPad to my WiFi Printer which is also now connected to my Airport Express WiFi network just fine. No problems.

I can't print from iPhoto. Error message says no themes. This is a recent problem.

A recent error message says I can't print because I have no themes available. What is a theme and why do I need it. I just want to print. I now have to go to Preview to print my photos.

The iPhoto themes are located in the HD/Library/Application Support/iPhoto folder. Verify that the iPhoto folder contains these items:
If you do have these items in the iPhoto folder repair disk permissions with Disk Utility and try iPhoto again.
If that fails then reapply the iPhoto 9.3 updater and try once again. You are running 9.3, right?

I compose an iMessage with the destination as my email address and I attach 2 photos I want on my PC. I send them several times from my iPhone 5C but they never arrive. I look at my ipad later and realize that it's iMessage app is getting ( and swallowing) these emails. I then turn the ipad off. Still can't get the photos through because iphone is now getting them on it's iMessage. I turn off the iMessage feature and try to send photos from text msging. Phone tells me it can't send photos unless iMessage it turned on. What happened to regular MMS text messaging? I go and try to send photos as an email attachment and see that there is no option to attach from the stupid email program. I look up online to learn about the brave new world of apple attachments and send them.

Did not work. I've selected iMessage to ON and left it. After a few hours I recieved a message "activation unsuccessful. Turn on iMessage to try again". This has been going on for the past 3 days.

no - you simply have to select the option to print mucliples of a photo on a page
select the photo and go to the file menu ==> print - select the printer, paper size and print size and click customize - in the tool bar click on the settings icon (the gear looking thingy) and select "multiple of the same photo per page" and the preview will reflect this option showing a full page of the selected size photos

Reboot everything. Router, printer and pad. If it used to work, it will again. It just lost itself somewhere.

Can't print on HP 3700..."waiting for printer to become available..."

I can't print on my HP 3700. I've disconnected all cables, re-booted and nothing. I tried to remove and re-add the printer from 'Print & Fax' in System Preferences. I send something to print (from any application) and then in the print queue says "waiting for printer to become available...". Any help would be greatly appreciated!
