Can't print PDF unless I save the file

Ever since I did my last update of Acrobat (I did another new update yesterday), I can't print a PDF document from an email attachment unless I save it first. I use gmail. I also used to be able to click on the icon to open up the PDF, but now I can't do that either. My only option is to View the PDF in a browser window or save the doc. When I view the PDF in the browser window and then click on the Print link, it won't print it - it makes me save it first.
I get PDF's all the time that I need to print but I don't want to save. This is wasting a ton of time having to save every PDF before I can print it. Please help.

Are you able to print the webpage to 'Adobe PDF' to convert it to pdf.
Which Browser version, OS version and Acrobat version are you using?

I am trying it on Adobe Acrobat Reader 9.2.1. Tried to fix Hex code, and also tried 'edit-preference-trust manager'. I focusing on Adobe registries but still couldn't fix the problem.

When I download a PDF file using Adobe I get a black screen when attempting to print and if I save the file I get a corrupted response when opening it.

This does not always happen, for example if I get a PDF file by email, it appears to be primarilly when I download from the internet.
I use Adobe Reader X1. Can you assist please. Thanks

Can I print page information (i.e. the file name) on my printout in Reader XI?

I can do it in Acrobat Pro, but I don't see any way to do so in Reader.

If you open the PDF in a browser (like Firefox or Chrome) the file path, including the file name, will print at the top of the printout. I'm unaware of a way to do it with Reader, but someone else may know how.

I can no longer directly print from the USPS print servelet. I now have to save the file and rename the extension to PDF load in another program to print. It used to be automatic. What happened?

When trying to print from the USPS website (to print a label) when I click to pay and print instead of my print selection screen coming up I get the "Firefox doesn't know what to do with this" screen. THrough some web searching I found I can save the file, then change the extension to PDF and load it in another program and print but it adds two steps and is a real pain. It is possible that your anti-virus software is corrupting the downloaded files or otherwise interfering with downloading files by Firefox.<br />
Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.

On the printer driver documentation, Page 5, in the Imaging setting, although the options are not specifically shown, there should be an option on that screen of the print driver to click and select "B/W" or 'black and white' or 'grayscale' or 'monochrome' as Print Mode rather than the "Full Color" option shown in the illustration below.
You access these settings once you have selected 'Print' from an app.
If necessary, you might need to click on the 'Down arrow' button next to the printer name (OS X 10.6), or 'Show Details' button at the bottom of the print dialog box (OS X 10.8) to see additional settings.

I want to know where to save the PDF? In a specific file system? How can I see this?

see that the printing is completed but I do not know if SAP has created a file and where to put it
By default SAP saves the documents in users home directory "C:\Documents and Settings\<USER_NAME>\SapWorkDir".
Is there a log that tells me what happens when I print a SAP page?
in SP01/SP02 or SPAD you can see the status of the spool job (success or failed) or its attribute. But it will not tell you where you saved the file because this activity will not come under SAP's control.
If I am not mistaking SAP generates spool request as per the configured spool device in SPAD. Once you fire the print job it depends on operating system's installed printer (configuration) what to do with that request. Means whether to print as PDF document or send to normal print device.
If you want more control over print job, you can configure "Access Method" as "G: Frontend printer with Control tech." and set "Host Printer = _DEFAULT". So it will pop-up Operating system printer selection dialog box.
I hope, it will cleare your doubts.
One more thing:
You have 2 methods to get it done...
A) In case of standard transactions or report, use method as I said in previous post.
B) If it is custom development, you can take ABAPers help to do the same. below are the steps for the same.
Basic Steps .
1) Generate the classical Report output .
2) Create a Spool Request .
3) Search the Spool Request .
4) Submit the Spool Request for Pdf Creation .
5) Download the Pdf Output in Presentation server or Application Server .
Use the Standard Function Modules 'CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF' and 'GUI_DOWNLOAD'
It will give you a freedom where to save the file..

After the new 10.9.2 Maverick upgrade, my Photosmart C4480 3 in 1 printer can not scan and save the file to desktop or documents. You can only see the image in the print preview area. Does anyone know how to fix this or when a fix will be out?

After Aple support downloaded the new 10.9.2 Maverick upgrade on my MacBook Air, my Photosmart C4480 3 in 1 printer can not scan a document and load the file on to my desktop or document file. I found that Firefox/XPS had deleted all printer driver setups except for the XPS connection. I had to reinstall my printer connection in order to have that selection present in the printer dialogue box.

"Can't Save the File. Can't Print the File" error in Illustrato CS3

I get the error "CAN'T SAVE THE FILE. CAN'T PRINT THE FILE". In Illustrator CS3
According to adobe this is an issue of having more that 28 spot colors, so I went to the swatch palette and pulled the fly-out menu out and told it to remove any unused swatches which took me down to 6 spot colors, but I still get the error when trying to save it to EPS format, which is the format I have to have for the ripping program for the vinyl printer in my sign shop. Saving it in AI format causes no issues.
Is there still something I am missing?

I appreciate your comment, I see what your saying.
However...my issue is...I am making a vehicle wrap on a full size van for a radio station and it consist of pictures of a clouds for the background with two pictures of music artist that are associated with the kind of music this station plays, then there is a big round logo of the radio station that involves three spot colors (Purple, white and one of which is technically the black "K" ribbon) along with the web address of the station but it is of the same colors of the radio station logo...then there is the corporate logo that utilizes another spot color (blue)so as you can see I need the spot colors that I'm using.
So just to make sure I'm clear...I can only have 28 different individual colors, even though I have photos involved in the rendering? How can I make that work because photos obviously have more than 28 colors in them. It doesn't make sense because you can do a live trace on something in literally hundreds of colors.
Would it help if I flattened the photo work from photoshop before I move it to Illustrator? The reason I ask is because when I go to save and choose EPS the next save dialogue that comes up...down at the bottom there is two exclamations that one says something about embedding fonts, which I'm not concerned about and the other is something about there is some artwork that needs flattening.
Please bear with me here cause I am definitely a newbie!! My boss threw to the wolves on this adventure and I am learning by reading and trial and error.

Two obvious troubleshooting techniques are to delete and re-install the printer driver (or updating printer driver) and fixing the installation of Acrobat. Have you given those a try?
