Can't publish changes - buttons disabled

Dear all,
I can not publish changes to my sitethrough iWeb. The buttons are disabled to publish and I have no ideawhat to do... I have to update my website! I have 2 mac computers athome, but just one of them is with all the site that I've donebefore. It's EMMANUELEBALDINI.ME
I have Time Capsule also, but I don'tknow how to copy the whole site in it.. and also, how to update mywebsite.
First it has appeared UNKNOWNPUBLISHING ERROR OCCURS. THE DISK MAY BE DAMAGED, FULL, OR YOU MAYNOT HAVE SUFFICIENT and I tried to cancel some dates to fix thisproblem and now it doesn't appear this message, but the buttons andthe option to publish the website don't appear.

First we need some details: where are you hosting the site? Have you visited the site to see if the changes have been made? Try clearing your browser's cache (Command+Option+E for Safari) and relaod the site.
Have you tried publishing your site to a folder on your hard drive? If not do so.
A first fix attempt can be the following:
delete the iWeb preference file, com.apple.iWeb.plist, that resides in your Home() /Library/Preferences folder.
go to your Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder and delete its contents.
launch iWeb and try again.

I was about to post a new one on this old thing but came across this when running the exe file from a vi with a blinking and back/foreground color property. In the vi mode everything worked properly as intended with the properties (different color and transparent other than the manual setting under the options->color), including changing the the color under options menu. But the exe file made the BG/FG color to red and yellow while blinking. I came across this topic a long time ago but never used the blinking indicators in the .exe files. NI or someone else has said this is a bug or the default in .exe running environment, please confirm this so I do not have to play around with this.
Also attached is the .ini file from the .exe file and how I add a BG/FG color line to get it working like blue when visible and transparent when not?

Change Button disabled "My Trip and Expenses"

Hi,
We have travel management implemented.
There are 2 level of approval 1) manager 2) accoutant.
1) when the manager send the request back for correction to emp the change button is enabled.
2) But when the Accountant send the request back for correction the change button gets disabled.
I think some where there are conditions maintained, need guidance as where should I look for the conditions.
I have checked at Portal end and WF.
Is there anything I can check at ESS ?
Please guide.

Change button disabled in ESS add/remove dependents

We are on version 4.7D and have noticed that ESS transaction PZ12 does not consistently allow changes to existing records. I can change a spouse, but I cannot change a child or an emergency contact via ESS. I get the same results when accessing through R/3, but there are no messages as to what the problem is. I have tried removing the dependents from all benefits plans, then trying to change the data in PZ12, but that does not work. I have checked for any authorization errors, and none exist. Does anyone have any ideas as to how to correct this and enable the change button in all cases?
The dependent type 2 is set up with time constraint 3. I have checked table T591A_ESSEX and can see that the subtype is allowed to be maintained via ESS.

OK. There are two ways to do this:
1. Create a button facet in the Add remove component
2. Modify the theme.
For the first way here is a sampe:
1. drag a add removelist onto the designer
2. Edit the jsp to look like this:

                        </ui:addRemove>3. deploy/run
4. select an item and press the Lark Add button. The internal javascript gets called to add the item.

Can't Publish changes using FTP

Ok, here is the whole story! At first I published my site using mobile me but then realized that my URL was way too long and not what I wanted since I am making a business site and wanted www.businessname.com. So, I bought a domain from godaddy and then hosted my site using that account. NOW, when I try to publish changes or even republish the entire site to make changes, nothing happens! It will say that my site is now published but then when I click visit site, a message comes up saying that the mobileme page I am looking for can not be found???? But I am not using mobile me to publish anymore!!! Any idea what I need to do? Thanks!

Okay, so when you purchased your domain name from GoDaddy did you also buy a hosting account from them?
If you didn't do this, then you are not publishing using ftp at all. You are still publishing to MobileMe, but you simply need to direct your domain name to web.me.com using CNAME forwarding.
If you did purchase hosting from GoDaddy too, then perhaps rather than using the built in iWeb ftp, you should publish to a local folder and upload to your server space using Cyberduck or Transmit which you can download for free.

IWeb - Can't Publish Changes

Apple announced support for iWeb publishing until June 30th. I am no longer permitted to publish changes to my site.
Is there any way around this until I transfer the site to a new webhosting service?

Try this: launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library. Import some photos and check to see if the same problem persists. If the problem is not repeated with the test library then your current library is damaged.
If that's the case make a temporary, backup copy if you don't already have one (select the library and type Command+D) and apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Select the options identified in the screenshot.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

I can't publish small changes to live site.
Looks good in preview but won't publish
Deleted 2 photos and added 2 words.

The error went away over the weekend but now when I update/publish and then go to the site the changes don't appear.

Easiest approach is to create a valueChangeListener in a managed bean and decorate the af:inputText with the listener. You will need to set the autoSubmit attribute on the component to "true". The listener will call setDisabled on an instance of the RichCommandButton that is bound to the command button you wish to enable.

Why can't I change button width smaller than 70px in a spark tilegroup?

I have an <s:TileGroup> in spark theme, and It contains several buttons.
I'm unable to change the width of the buttons below 70px.
I tried changing "minWidth", but that doesn't seem to do anything?

Can't publish changes

I use iWeb 1.1.2 and Safari 2.0.4. I have a small webpage with three tabbed pages. I made some changes in one page, to add hyperlinks and those published perfectly. However, despite making similar changes to another page and repeatedly trying to publish, the changes to the second page (neither text not added hyperlinks) simply will not take.
I have cleared the cache in Safari and used "Publish All" on several occasions to no avail.
Any ideas?

Thanks for your reply. The webpage is about my rather boring hobby of collecting golf putters, and is useful for posting as a link on hobbyists forum signatures.
I set the pages up under several tabs, and later decided to add hyperlinks to the manufacturers website and make a few typographical changes. On one tab 'Nick Faldo', the changes took very simply, but on the other one 'Putters', they would simply not take.

I just updated to iLife '08 and was able to publish, though none of the new material came through. Does anyone have suggestions?

If you are publishing to .Mac, iWeb '06 published to Finder/Go/iDisk/My iDisk/Web/Sites/iWeb and iWeb '08 publishes to Finder/Go/iDisk/My iDisk/Web/Sites.
Go to Finder/Go/iDisk/My iDisk/Web/Sites and see if your new folder is there. Double click the index.html file to launch your site from .Mac to make sure all is well.
The URL to get to your updated site will now have the format ....
http://web.mac.com/username/websitename/pagename.html
Enter your URL in the browser, launch your website and bookmark it.

You can hide the change button from Portal. Go to Content Administration> Contents provided by SAP> ESS--> select the i view --> then overview. Just right click on the Change button, then all the controlls will come
From there you can make the button disable or invisible.

I have a JSF command button, I would like to dynamically change button disabled based on certain condition.
I tried in the actionListener code in my managedbean
like

component.setRendered(false);However it makes button not visible, couldn't find setDisabled.
How can I do this?

Hi,
Basically, you can change the button status: enabled/didasled from JavaScript by changing the button css.
You can also do this from JSF.
The commandButton element has the disabled attribute and you can change the status depending on your condition.

If you use AJAX (ex. a4j) there is the same principle. In backing bean you can check your condition and in jsp you'll change to disabled.
