Can't purchase Apps through itunes

When I try to purchase an app on my iphone 5c, I get a message that reads:  "Your Purchase Could Not Be Completed.  For assistance, contact itunes Support at www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww/.  This has happened over 5 times and everytime I contact Apple, they do something and then it will work for that particular purchase.   When I attempt again, at a later time, the message appears and I have to go through the process of contacting them all over.  All my stored information, along with credit card info is up to date and accurate.  Can anyone help me to fix this problem permanently?  Thanks.

I'm having that same issue 4-4-2014, I'm calling Apple soon as they open, but I know they going to charge so with that being said after reading your post I'm not going to keep paying them to fix the same issue that's crazy! Wondering what to do. My account is well off no issues at all, I'm so upset; but ill have a **** fit if they try to charge me again to fix the same issue…

  • ICloud Family Sharing - can't purchase apps with iTunes Credit

My wife and I previously shared the same AppleID on our phones.   When the family sharing became available, it seemed the perfect approach for what we were accomplishing.  I upgraded my wife's phone to 8.x and then moved her back to the Apple ID that I had initially created for her.  I invited her to join the family and completed that setup.
We then had some iTunes gift cards that she had received and so loaded those to her iTunes account (wife's AppeID) on her iPad.  However, when we attempt to purchase apps on her iPad, it insists on purchasing from my AppleID via my credit card rather than using the iTunes credit.
Any suggestions?  I've seen posts that iTunes credit cannot be transferred.

Nope, not actually. The only restrictions Alberta places on gift cards are the following:
    * Not allow expiry dates on gift cards, gift certificates, and vouchers that have been purchased and have monetary value
    * Eliminate inactivity fees, also called dormancy fees, that reduce the value of gift cards the longer they go unredeemed
    * Prevent businesses from not honouring gift cards for purchases that are
more or less than the value of a gift card
    * Require merchants to fully disclose any restrictions on use of a gift card on both the actual card and its packaging
To further my point, Apple definately does not abide by the last law (at least in the rest of Canada), as they say nothing on the card or its packaging about not being able to buy apps with it.

  • Can't add apps through iTunes

    Hey people,
So this evening I updated my ipod touch to iOS5 or whatever the **** the latest OS is. Anyway, I backed-up the pod and transfered all of my recent purchases onto my desktop computer. Now, however, when I try to rearrange or even add apps to the pod, I am unable to. They appear on itunes as a sort translucent icon but I cannot move them etc etc. Refer to the image below.
Also, having just updated my my desktop PC, I added it to my authorised list. I change computers quite frequently and it says I have only 1 more computer left to authorise. How do I remove authorisation from other computers (whose where abouts and ownership are now unknown).
    Cheers people.

    - To deauthorize unavailable computers you have to Deauthorize All but you have to have already used up all five authorizations and you can only do that one a year.  See:
About iTunes Store authorization and deauthorization
    - For the apps problem,  you changed syncing computr and you can only sync with one comutr/iTunes library.  To change syncing computers:
    - Make sure that all apps and music are in the iTunes library.
    - The make a backup of the iPOd by connecting the iPod to the computer and right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and selecting Back Up
    - Restore the iPod from that backup

  • I can't purchase anything through ITunes. It keeps coming up with the message that I must connect through the Australian store. All my settings are already set to Australia. Help!

Thanks for the responses. They have not resolved my issue...in fact now I can't even connect to any ITunes Store. Just getting an error message

You only need to post once. Check your previous post.

  • I can't add/remove apps through iTunes.

I wanted to sync my apps with iTunes, as I haven't got the iTunes app on my iPhone (don't know how I did that either lol) and I also wanted it for some other stuff. Now the box 'Sync Apps' is unchecked, and when I check it iTunes warns me that every app and content of that app will be removed and replaced by the apps in the iTunes library.. I'm really not that keen on losing data in Whatsapp for instance, as my memory depends on that app, lol.
Anyway, is there any possibility that I can add/remove apps through iTunes without losing data on my iphone? Maybe by making some sort of backup?
I really hope there's someone with an answer to this one, as I'm really out of ideas to solve this.
    Thanks,
    Axel

Guess what I didn't lose any data, not even in for instance games like Coin Dozer or Whatsapp or anything! I don't know how, but it's true! I didn't even have to re-login Wordfeud! Hurray!

When I purchase music through iTunes from my MacBook Pro, my iPhone 4 iTunes app cannot detect those purchase to allow them to download to my phone. If I open up the iTunes app and select "purchased > music > not on this iphone" it tells me "All of your available music has been downloaded to this device." However, my purchases are not yet downloaded to the iphone and not available to download. If I go to "purchased > music > all > recent purchases" it will show me the purchases that were most recent the last time I synced my phone, but not the purchases since then.
Any thoughts on how I can remedy this and make all of my purchased music available on my phone without requiring syncing?

So I have been searching the iStore for Airplay and I find lots of information about what it is, but nothing about how much it costs, how/where to buy it, etc.?
Fortunately, AirPlay does not cost anything as it is a streaming protocol used by Apple. Currently, the AirPort Express and Apple TV are AirPlay-ready. A number of other companies, like JBL, iHome, Denon and Klipsch are also rumored to be working on AirPlay versions of their products.
Your other option would be to get an AirPort Express and connect it to your Onkyo analog or optical digital audio input and stream from iTunes that way. I currently do this with my 10+ year old Harmon Kardon HT receiver.

  • HT2534 I have money on my iTunes account.  Can I purchase apps for my iPad with this credit?

I have a credit on my iTunes account.  Can I purchase apps for my iPad with this credit and how do I do it?

Yes. You can use any funds that you have available in iTunes for the App Store, iTunes, iBooks or the Mac App Store. Just go to the app store and tap on the app that you want to download. If the credit is available, it will be deducted from your account when you make the purchase.
You can swipe to the bottom of the featured tab in the app store to view your account balance.

i can't see my purchased apps in itunes on new ipad mini. when I go into the itunes store. It shows nothing. I haven't changed my ID or country of purchase. It shows that I would have to rebuy them when I go into the store. Is there something in settings on Itunes I need to change? I do not have cloud.

Yes I am looking in the app store. When I look in Itunes on my computer and look at purchased apps it is there. And when I go on my other device and look at apps purchased all apps are there.
The new ipad doesn't show any apps purchased when I click on apps purchased and when I search the app store it doesn't show it is purchased. I am wondering if I am just missing something...need to turn something on in options or something. Never had this problem with previous ipad when I set it up.

  • Purchasing apps through Apple's web store without going through iTunes?

Is there any way to purchase iPad app without billing through iTunes account?
The reason is that I want to purchase the app through corporate's billing service, such as using a PO (purchase order) rather than through credit card. Is there an alternate way to purchase app through Apple's store in http://store.apple.com?

you could use *gift cards* (unless you live in Canada).
