Can't Push Advanced Client

I've got a computer that's is driving me nuts!
This computer is at one of my secondary sites.   There are other computers at this site, and they're all working, but I can't get the Advanced Client installed on this one.
The computers appears in my All Systems collection.  It has the site code for my remote site.  If I try to install the client by right-clicking on the computer and selecting Install Client, I don't see any evidence that anything ever happens. 
I don't ever see a .CCR file appear on the remote site server, I don't see anything in the CCM.log on the remote server, and I never see a CCMSetup or CCM file appear under sysWOW64 (I even checked System32 for good measure).
If I manually create a .CCR file and place in the ccr.box folder on the remote site server and watch the CCM.log file, I can see the .CCR get processed, but it reports "Mobile client on the target machine has the same version, and 'forced' flag is not
turned on."  What might be present on this computer that would make SCCM think that the Advanced Client is installed on this computer.
I checked DNS and DHCP just to make sure this computer was the only one associated with its known IP address, but everything looks just like it should.
Site boundaries?  I've checked them, but I don't see anything wrong.  I've verified that this computers has an IP address within the AD site for that remote location and that the AD Site is the boundary for my SCCM Site.

As it is only one comnputer I would log on to it and check the log files and trigger an installationen manually, it sounds like it already have the SCCM client installed but it is broken, WMI perhaps? Checking the ccmsetup.log and client.msi.log will give
you more detials, client push can fail if firewall, DNS,DHCP ,permissions, WMI corruption issues occur on the client.

    So what i did here was to create a new application from my new server pointing to the share of our old server, and it worked.   so the problem is either with the share, distribution point or package i guess??
    i have to get rid of the old server of course so this has to work

  • Re-Installing SMS 2003 Advanced Client

    I'm looking for some help to sort out the mess someone has made of our SMS 2003 environment.
    From what I have managed to piece together a collection has been deleted using "delete special" so all the resources (over 2000 machines) have been taken out. The resources have started to re-appear but they aren't reporting they have a client
    installed and about 18 hours ago an attempt was made to push the advanced client out to all machines with include only clients assigned to the site, subcollections and always install ticked but nothing new is showing up in the admin console. Most of the warning
    messages in the log report either The platform is not supported by the advanced client (all machines are either XP SP3 of Win 7 SP1) or operating system reported error 5 access is denied.
    Our AD system discovery is set to run every 4 hours and heartbeat discovery is set to daily.

    I will assume that by now things are all good, but see no update since the initial posting. For reference, it is a Heartbeat DDR that will get clients to report in as a client. So they should have started to report in as clients the next day, assuming that
    Heartbeat Discovery was set to daily. AD Discovery has nothing to do with client reporting, as AD does not know that a system is a client (or not), only the client knows, and that comes from Heartbeat.

    After installing the Lion update, Lancom advanced VPN client doesn't respond anymore. The icon jumps but no further reaction. This is not funny at all because I need this tool for my business..... What can i do?

    Problem solved! After re-installing the Lancom VPN advanced client and restart of the iMac, it is working fine!

  • Callconnector advanced client connects to server only randomly

    Hi,
    I just installed scc server and 20 call connector advanced clients at a customer site. Everything worked on the installation.
    Installed all the licenses ok.
    I just received the following email from the client:
    "A number of staff including myself are experiencing difficulty logging on to the  Cisco Smart Call Connect system each morning.  When we try to log on we get a  message saying network error as the systems goes through the motions of trying  to connect.  After the systems has made 5 attempts to log on a message box pops  up saying unable to connect to server.  We are trying all the usual solutions to  correct the problem ie.  Restart and shut down etc.  This is successful only  sometimes and often we have to try several times.  One of our ladies in the  Accounts Department, Sally Pan has tried 4 or 5 times this morning to log on and  is still unable to connect.  In my case today after the  4th attempt  I was able to connect."
    The call connector server is always on and is installed on a win7 32bit 4gb ram system with static ip.
    I can not see why would this happen.
    How should I proceed troubleshooting this issue?
    Another question: The callconnector advanced clients installations are on PCs that get ip address via dhcp. I know I had to input the ip address of the pc when I installed the advanced client. Does this have anything to do with it (i.e. does advanced client need to be installed to a pc with statically assigned ip address, or it does not matter)?

    It helps if you state what product and what version you are using. It appears as though
    you are using Java System Message Queue. If so you need to set the
    imqBrokerHostName attribute on the ConnectionFactory (imqAddressList is also
    supported on later versions). See the Java Client Developer's Guide:

    After installation of SCM 5.0, we did client copy from 001 -
    >800.
    But when we execute RSA1 we got the error message:
    "Your SAP BW system can only operate in client 001"
    Is this because of client limitations?
    If yes, how it can be solved.
    Incoming days we are going to upgrade to SCM 5.0 from SCM 4.1.

    When I gave logical system of client 001 to 800 then it worked.(with  RSADMINA has entry now 800 which was changed from 001).
    It still not working logical system of client 800.
    I afraid, we will face issue after upgrade to SCM 5.0.
    I hope client will not modify after upgrade to SCM 5.0 in RSADMINA.

    In general you can install an Oracle client version that is different from Oracle database server. However you should take care of client/server support status on My Oracle Support site: see Client / Server / Interoperability Support Matrix For Different Oracle Versions [ID 207303.1].

  • How can local & Hreap attached clients get the correct DHCP address

    I am going to have a single private SSID that can be used by clients in our local AP's office and by h-reap clients on AP's in the foreign offices.
    All clients will authenticate via a radius server but how do I ensure that the local and remote clients will be given a dhcp address from their relevant local dhcp server?
    What setting are required to ensure this happens.
    I require Cental Authentication and local switching.

    You just have to have a dhcp server listening wherever you're putting the clients.  You can change which vlan a ssid is mapped to on a per-AP basis.  So if your remote office uses vlan 50 for workstations you just need to change the vlan mappings for the AP(s) to 50, then make your AP port a trunk on whatever switch you're plugging into.  Then as long as you have a dhcp server listening on that AP, clients will get an IP from it.

Everything seems to work, besides at times (a couple times today) it terminates his ethernet card/connection. I would re-image his computer but he has several applications and it would take several hours, so I am hoping someone has an idea to fix this issue. So I was trying to figure out why he did not get the prompt to login and why it's not in the systray and it appears to not have completed the install? I checked the add/remove programs, its not listed within their, I also checked the registry and found nothing for endpoint within their, but the files are within c:\program files\novell\zenworks endpoint security.
    I have also tried uninstalling it but that fails due to it "not being installed", and it will not reinstall over itself either.
    I did notice that stuninstdrv.exe is running in task manager. Any help would be great...

    If you are searching the registry, check for the "Senforce" string. It should be at HKLM\Software\Senforce
    Try running the install program for the ZSC with the following command line:
    setup.exe /V"STUNINSTALL=1"
    If you've specified an uninstall password, try this one instead:
    setup.exe /V"STUNINSTALL=1 STUIP=password"" (please note the double quote at the end)

    I have an airport express extending, through wireless, a network provided by an airport extreme. How can I know which clients are connected to my network through express and which are connected through extreme?
    Here you can see both routers:
    I would expect to some clients connected to the express, other than the extreme. And that's all I see: only the airport extreme appears as client of the airport express.
    Below, one can see the summary of the config for both routers.
    Would somebody explain it?

    Since BI tables are cross-client, BI can work only in one client. By default BI is configured for client 001.
    If you want it in different client, you change it in BWMANDT field of RSADMINA table.

  • JDeveloper 11.1.2.1.0 Can't edit subversion client config

    I'd like to change the subversion client config to enable auto-props but can't find an option to do this in JDeveloper. Tools->Preferences...->Versioning->Subversion->General only appears to have an option for modifying the server parameters. Anybody know how I can change the subversion client config through JDev?

    Makes sense. Editing the svn 'servers' file through JDev displays it's path at the top of editor:
    C:\Documents and Settings\BLACKADR\Application Data\JDeveloper\system11.1.2.1.38.60.81\o.jdeveloper.subversion
    and I can see that there is also a default 'config' file in this same folder so I guess this must be the one JDev will pick up. Will think about raising an enhancement request for an Edit "Client config" option in the JDev Preferences dialog. Thanks for your help.

  • Problems with comments-enabled PDF: I can't see my client's comments

    I really hope somebody can help me.
    THE SITUATION: I have a comments-enabled PDF. The comments repository is located on my externally hosted webdav server. Both my client and I have local copies of the PDF, and up until today, my client was able to post comments on the PDF.
    THE PROBLEM:
    - Today, my client suddenly noticed that the review had "expired" and she can't post her comments.
    - I am able to see and post my own comments in the PDF, but I can't see my client's comments in the PDF.
    - My client can see her own comments. (I don't know if she can see mine.)
    - If I log into my webdav site with FTP, I can see my client's XML file which contains all her comments. I can also see my own XML file which contains my comments, and it is indeed updating each time I add a new comment.
    I thought it would be possible to import the XML file containing all her comments into the PDF. However XML is not a format that Acrobat allows you to import!!! It only will accept FDF, XFDF, or PDF!
    Phone tech support was spectacularly unhelpful. I seriously doubt "Nelson" from Bombay has ever used Acrobat in his life. He asked me to send the file to him, which I did, but I haven't heard back.
    So my question is:
    1) How can I get my Acrobat file to view the comments which are sitting on the comments server in an xml file? Why would it see mine but ignore hers?
    2) If I can't get the comments to show up, then can I at least import my client's comments, which are currently sitting in an XML file, into my PDF?
    bonus question: Why is there so little documentation about dealing with webdav comments repositories? Is it considered better to use acrobat.com instead of our own webdav server or something?

    I have decided to go over to her office, create an archive of her PDF, then try to pull those comments into a new PDF.
    This is a GIANT PAIN. And egg in my face, after I've sold this client on the ease and convenience of a PDF workflow!
    So is there any way to get xml comments back into a PDF???
