Have you tried contacting the developer of the said application? If not yet, try to contact them to provide your feedback regarding their application. And about your other query, does this message appear before or after doing the update? Is this only happening when accessing the WhatsApp? Or is it also happening with any other app that you have on your phone?

Are you trying to download apps from the Sudan app store? If so, you have to have a valid credit card and billing address in the country of the app store to purchase from that app store.
Some countries also have restrictions on the apps and functions allowed in their countries.

I can no longer start some applications (i.g. Office and Photoshop)

Since a few weeks i can no longer start some applications in Mac OS Tiger that worked perfectly before:
- The complete Microsoft Office suite (incl. Update)
- Finale PrintMusic
- Adobe Photoshop
When I try to start them, their symbols just jump some times in the dock and then disappear again.
I deinstalled Finale PrintMusik in order to reinstall it afterwards. But when I double-click the install-file from the cd it's the same: it jumps and disappears.
I repaired my permissions, ran the daily, weekly and monthly scripts and reset the P-RAM.
Any ideas?

My torch always reboot after install some application

Dear all, I have problem with my torch always reboot and can not enter to home screen after installed some application, i had read this problem caused by new version of bbm which connect to application and give solution to delete cod with connect to bbm such as... Common.cod, plugin.cod... I had tried it by is not work... I try to do factory reset... It works but will delete all my data excluding application.. For sometimes it works but sometimes can not works and in the end i will wipe my torch and install new OS into my torch, Please help if there are best solutions. Thank you in advance. Regards

Your best bet is to reload the current OS to your phone. If a newer version of OS exists and you wish to load it go ahead, but reloading your current one should do the trick.
To do this, plug your phone in to your PC and open BlackBerry Desktop Software. Click Device at the top of the software then Update.

That's correct. iTunes will delete any apps you have not downloaded through your own iTunes account. If you did use your own iTunes account, choose iTunes > File > Transfer purchases... to move the apps into your own iTunes Library.

Re-download the apps through your own iTunes account (pay for them if necessary). Apps cannot be shared between different iTunes user accounts.

Can't shut down, some applications don't close and others don't open

I installed Leopard about 3 weeks ago as a clean install not an update. Since then, I have frequent problems shutting down and con only do it manually. I also have some applications - like Firefox - which won't close - the blue light in the dock stays on even after I force quit. Other applications won't open - like Aperture - which seems to get stuck on the serial # screen and never gets further. I have also been getting the dreaded spinning wheel.
I was having this issue on Tiger but I am not sure if it is related to the same problem. It seemed to have something to do with Event Handler...but I am also getting messages similar to one I used to have. "Third Party Client Null - can't create semaphore lock". I am also getting a new message: "Please convert the following to launchd: etc.....

By clean install, do you mean "erase and install"? Did you reinstall the problematic progarm ("Event Handler")? If you did reinstall it, do you know if that particular program is Leopard compatible?
Also, what kind of system do you have?

Why can`t I install java applications on E50???

The E50 has Java installed; a version of Java known as J2ME (Java 2 Micro Edition) a.k.a. MIDP/CLDC. Make sure you are trying to install Java apps made for J2ME (MIDP/CLDC), and not, e.g., J2SE (Java 2 Standard Edition) which is for PCs.
Also, check this setting: menu > Tools > App.mgr > Options > Settings > Software installation > All

I recently received my new imac and have now started to move older applications from my old mac to the new machine.
It appears that that I cannot install Office v.X from the installation disk because of an incompatible installer. I receive the following error message: "The application InstallerVISE quit unexpectedly", with these details:

I have noticed this same issue with Retrospect Express (which I know isn't compatible with OS X 10.5.1, but I wanted to check if the installer would run).

OK, I have solved this! Interestingly, I could not find this issue in Mindvision's support pages (Mindvision is the maker of the Vise installer), but this is what I found on Macusenet:

I have a new (refurb) MacbookPro 1.8. I did the migration when I set it up.
For some reason I download certain programs, like Flip4Mac, and it is a .mpkg. When I click on it the Macbook says it can't find an app to open it. What do I do?

Flip4Mac, quite specifically, is one program that doesn't even open on the MBP. Until a Universal Binary is released, the issue with WMP exists. The alternative is to install version 9.0 of WMP for PPC. Then change Safari to run under rosetta. You'll be able to run some WMP content, but it won't be smooth.

Help!! Why can't I install Pro Application

I'm trying to surn the software updater Pro Application - but when I go ahead it says it need to be installed on the start up disk. How do I direct it to there? My hard drive shows up as a choice not my Start up disk.

I spent the better part of a day trying to get iTune to come up after downloading Version 8. All sorts of problems. Finally gave up. Computer said it was there but I could not access. Two days later (Today) I decided to "download" one more time. HOORAY, it didn't freeze and finally - I got a screen that said "REPAIR....." or "UNINSTALL..." I clicked in the REPAIR! It did its thing and I am now in business.
I can't explain why this worked today and not the other days, but worked it did. I have now synced my iPod.

Why can't I install some Creative Cloud apps on my home PC?

Recently, my employer sprung for Creative Cloud. I've been very happy using it at work. Since I do a fair amount of work from home, it's especially useful.
Or it would be if I could figure out how to install all the software I need. I've been able to install five or six of the apps already (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Bridge among them), but I get the following issues:
Fireworks : Hangs at 54% completed for ever and ever. (I waited three hours)
Premiere : Downloads completely, but then says "Waiting..." for ever and ever. (I waited 2.5 hours)
Ironically, I uninstalled my old versions of those programs specifically because CC renders them obsolete. My PC is powerful enough to run this software, but I really don't know how to progress. I tied up my computer the last two nights attempting to install these items and don't have a clue what to do.
Please let me know if there's anything I can do to provide further information, such as pull an error log or what have you.

Hi Mwarren,
In CC desktop apps, the first 50% is the indicator for status of download and then rest 50% is for install.
It is hard to say what exactly is happening at 54% through CC desktop apps as the installation is happening silently unlike older version where se we can see what process or software installation is happening.
If you could please share the Installer logs then it could help us diagnose the issue,

OS 10.5.4 Strange problem installing some applications

Hi,
I am running a macPro 2.66 with one boot drive on Leopard and one on Tiger.
I have noticed that when using Tiger and installing a new application I just grag it into the applications folder and BINGO.. it's installed. If I take the same application and drag it into Leopard's application folder it ends up outside the applications folder and may take 2 or 3 tries... and having to position it directly OVER the folder's icon before it will actually end up with the rest of the applications.
Has anyone else seen this behavior?

Check finder preferences(Leopard), general tab and confirm "Spring Loaded folders and windows" is checked.
If so, check the slider for delay status and note comment about the space bar.

Restoring a new mac from a backup can i only install some programs and files? Dont think there is enough memorie on the mac air

I might be buying a new macbook air to go traveling with.. i have a macbook pro already and want to restore from the backup onto the new macbook Air but am not sure if there is enough memorie on the air... Can i restore from the back up and only put on certain files and programs.. I only really want my photoshop and dont have the serial code anymore..

When using Migration Assistant or Setup Assistant you can only choose all or none of the Applications. You have a little more flexibility about the files in your account(s).
What I did when I had to migrate from my MBP to the MBA was to use SuperDuper! to create a clone backup of my MBP. Then I deleted the programs and files (mostly music and video) I didn't intend to put on the MBA. Then when the MBA arrived I used Setup Assistant to migrate everything.

How can i re-install an application if i have removed it?

I have removed all of my Creative cloud applications to clean up my mac and now i want to re-install them. Unfortunately the creative cloud installer says the apps are already installed and i cant work out how to re-install, is there an option to re-install?
