Can't read HD files with QT on Intel Mac? (only got sound)
Alright so it seems like quiktime can't read HD files completely since it still manages to read the audio.
I'm wondering if someone's got a solution for this...the files are in .mov format.
Thanks
They are HD video files uploaded from a Panasonic AG-HVX200 camera.
They are imported in .mov format, I guess they should be working in QT but it can only read sound.
These files work in final cut though.
thanks

I can't read a file with the ext PDF the sender informed me that the file was reset to PDF.
I can't read a file with the .ext PDF the sender informed me that the file was reset to PDF. But when I tried to open it the caption box informed me"the file is not in PDF format. I suspect the sender simply changed the file .ext which is why I can't open it! What can I do about it! I am working on an iPad.
Thanks
Mr Jim LapthornIf the document is not, in fact, a PDF, then you will need to get your sender to provide a PDF.

Can we read Money files with iCompta?
Can we read Money files with iCompta?
Yes and no. I f you mean reading multiple files as one-single-payload to a process, you can not use this. But the file adapter reads all the files (depending on the number of agents) almost at once, processing each file, or each line in the file as a process instance.

How can I read a file with ASCII Special Character into a SQL table using SSIS 2008?

RS - AscII - 30 (Record Separator)
GS - AscII - 29 (Group Separator)
Thank you for your assistance - Covi
Mark CovianWe can use script component as source/transformation to read the text file and assign the contains to a string. Split the string by chr(30) i.e RS and finally stored into an array or write to the output buffer of the script component.
For example on how to use script component refer this link

Can't open Word file with password on my Mac
I have a Microsoft Office Word 2007 file with a password from my old computer, and when I try to put it on my new Mac all I get is a bunch of "EncryptedPackage" and random symbols through the pages. I do not have my old computer anymore, neither do I have access to any PC, so how could I decode this message so I can see the content?

If the document was locked and password-protected in Word on the Windows system, I don't know of any way to unlock it without having a copy of Word on the Mac unless perhaps OpenOffice.org will open it. TextEdit and Pages will not (unless I've missed something). -
How can one read ClarisWorks files with MS Word / Excel ?
Somebody handed me this .cwk file, and wants to be using it in their Office program.
Thanks for your time!Hi, Bruce. If you don't have access to any version of ClarisWorks or AppleWorks yourself, and the person who originated the .cwk file is unavailable to resave it in a more suitable format, MacLink Plus Deluxe can translate it into any of several Word formats.
If you're in a position where you frequently receive files in a variety of formats that must be used by others who aren't conversant with all those formats, MLPDeluxe would be a very good investment for you. -
Can't read mp4 files with QT 10.1
On my MacBook Pro with OS 10.7.5 I'm running QT 10.1 and find that it won't open mp5 files that have been downloaded from YouTube by a program such as Torch or icyvideo. Yet the list of files that are acceptable in this QT program includes mp4. Am I doing something wrong?

Problems reading PDF files with i Pad and Mac with 10.8.3 Mountain Lion OS
I assume InDesign uses the Acrobat XI resources to generate the exported PDFs.
I have many 1-7 page articles from which I created PDFs via the export function in ID. They all read OK on PC/Apple/Linux based computers.
I assembled all of the articles into one 50 page document in ID and again exported the large file as a PDF.
Several of the articles inside the large document now exhibit problems when viewed on an i Pad or a Mac running OS 10.8.3 (Mountain Lion). PC and Linux do not have this problem.
The problems are, to quote my subscriber: "each paragraph starts with a 'dollar' sign instead of 'Th'. Later the 'Dollar' symbol changes to ' " '. The same thing happens in the Piston Ring article. This doesn't happen on the original PDF files.
Opening the files in Acrobat Pro XI to look for differences does not discover anything although I assume the problem is somewhere in the font files.
Any suggestions?I've asked the question about the versions and producers of the PDF reader software he is using. I'll be back when that answer comes in.
I was afraid that Adobe might not use code identical to Acrobat Pro XI to generate PDFs in InDesign. I may have to 'print' to Acrobat and see if that generates a trouble-free PDF. -
Why can't I read PDF files with this browser?
It says "can't read PDF files with this browser running. Exit and try again."
I have Adobe 9.3.2 installed. It didn't give me this message with earlier versions of Adobe.
Is there a way to go BACKWARDS?
How do I save the PDF files so I can close them and view them without using the browser?
== I downloaded later versions of Adobe.I have tried everything,Foxit and Foxit updates, Gone to Adobe......you think of it I have tried.

How can I read this file with LINQ (I'm no expert) for fill correctly my object ?
Thanks in advance.
StefanoPlease refer to the following sample code:
XDocument doc = XDocument.Load("c:\data1.xml");
List<Page> pages = new List<Page>();
var pageElems = doc.Root.Elements("Page");
foreach (var page in pageElems)
Page pageObj = new Page();
pageObj.PageName = page.Attribute("pageName").Value;
pageObj.Description = page.Element("description").Value;
pageObj.List = new List<Param>();
var paramElems = page.Elements("Param");
foreach(var paramElem in paramElems)
Param paramObj = new Param();
paramObj.Address = paramElem.Element("address").Value;
paramObj.Description = paramElem.Element("description").Value;
pageObj.List.Add(paramObj);
pages.Add(pageObj);
The code adds the Page objects to the pages list.

How can I read pdf files from LabVIEW with different versions of Acrobat reader?
How can I read pdf files from LabVIEW with different versions of Acrobat reader?
I have made a LabVIEW program where I have possibility to read a PDF document. When I made this LabVIEW program it was Acrobat Reader 5.0.5 that was installed on the PC. Lather when the Acrobat Reader was upgraded to version 6.0, there was an error when VI tries to launch the LabVIEW program. And Later again when we upgraded to Acrobat Reader 7.0.5 I must again do some changes and rebuild the EXE files again
It isn't so very big job to do the changes in one single LabVIEW program, but we have built a lot of LabVIEW programs so this take time to due changes every time vi update Acrobat Reader. (We have build EXE files.)
The job is to right click the ActiveX container and Click "Insert ActiveX Object", then I can brows the computer for the new version of acrobat Reader. After this I must rebuild all the "methods" in the Activex call to make the VI executable again.
Is there a way to build LabVIEW program so I don't have to do this job every time we update Acrobat Reader?
This LabVIEW program is written in LabVIEW 6.1, but I se the problem is the same in LabVIEW 8.2.

You need to restore the pre-upgrade backup of the library file in the manner shown in Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash.
