Can't read screen..words scrambled

sometimes the words get all jumbled. lines appear between songs. has anyone had this problem? anyone know how to fix it?

This happened to me once - you might want to just shut it off and charge it for a while. You could clear all the songs and then re-load them, kinda like a clean install. This helped me!

You likely didn't erase the ENTIRE drive of the later OS X operating system before installing Snow Leopard. You just targeted the Macintosh HD partition.
Try again, this time make sure to select the name and size of your boot drive at the top to catch the hidden EFI partition that's responsible for the splash screen at boot time (no screen = white)
It will take two reboots to reset the EFI again, so once Snow is installed and reboots, reboot again.

Can JAVA read Microsoft word document?

I am trying to make a program that read a word document, and split the document in to each pages and save each pages with file as it's footer of each pages.

Is there any way to import word document and process like that above?
I have searched about this, and found out 'Jakarta POI' can access to word document but with many restrictions. (I heard it doesn't support word version 2003 and 97)
Can any one please answer this?

I'm not really sure that java is the best language to use for this particular project. I haven't looked into writing a standalone application to do this sort of thing, but Microsoft Word has a built in VB editor that allows you to write scripts that will do this very simply, using Word's Document Object Model.
I would imagine the same sort of the thing could be done from a Stand-alone aplication as well, but you might need some libraries for reading the document and obtaining the object with the same model. I would look into Microsoft's .net solutions for this one. You might even be able to work out a solution in C++, C#, or even J# (which I understand is "similar" to java), if you don't know visual basic.
It is possible that there is a library out there that will read a Word Document, and create the appropriate Java object with the same object model, but I don't know where it can be found.
Anyway, if the option is available to you, take a look at Microsoft's .Net. You'll probably have more luck that way. Good Luck!

Can't read screen it's to big

I was playing a game. I forgot wich one. Then my screen went to big to see anything. I clicked on the home button, but nothing changed. Then I tried to set it out. It got nicely. But when I put in on the only thing I could see was a little bit of the time clodck.
When I try to get the telease button all the button run away litterly. (Sorry for my bad English). I can't get it right.
Wait I just think of it. I updated it to ios6, has it something to do with that?

Can pages read a word 97 document?

I have a word 97 file on my flash drive. If I buy pages, will it be able to read it and print it out?

Beside any financial issues, you are wrong in some respects:
- Pages is intented to be a ral replacement for Word, and some features are better implemented than Word
- This advantage is counterbalanced by the obvious truth that import/export is NEVER, really NEVER perfect, disregarding the application you have in view. the consequence is that, when you deal with frequent imports/export from to Word, Pages is not a good solution.
Let us imagine that, person A in company X uses quark and exchanges files with person B in company Y, who uses InDesign. This may lead to something irrational, as each will complain that import/export puts problems. Of course, this is normal.
In fact, what would you expect from Pages? To perfectly import Word files and to perfectly export them? This is simply IMPOSSIBLE, I have no knowledge of a similar situation in this world of software developers. You may be unsatisfied with Pages. Very well, I have my observations too, but I would never send reproaches to Apple that they cannot deal with a perfect import/export from/to Word. As long as the two companies use different formats, situation cannot be otherwise. Let us be realistic and let us send Apple real, justified feedback.

If you manage to determine a start condition for the "word", it is simple a series of Highs and Lows which has to be analyzed by your software.
You should acquire the data with a buffered method (either finite or continuous which is hardware timed).

I believe your looking for the <input type="file" tag to read a file from the user's browser to the servlet. There are examples of this on line. POI is used after the file is read into the servlet to extract its information.

when i turn my iPod mini on i can't read what is on the screen. The words have faded so much that i can barely tell if the iPod is on or not.
i've had my iPod for more than two years, and have used it constantly. could this be a sign of old age?? the screen has been progressivly getting lighter only for about 2.5 months.

I called up technical support and they said it could be the logic board or a display issue. If it is the logic board you are better getting a new ipod for it is about $100 to repair however if it is the display it can be replaced with a new LCD screen. I feel for you. I have the same problem. However I do see my display temporarily when the battery is low. I see display for 10-15 minutes. Presently I am going to replace the battery. I have not done it yet though.

Color LaserJet screen displays options in foreign language. Now can't read to get back to English.

I accidentally pushed a setting on my HP CP2025dn color printer which changed its language from English to something which does not even have words with an alphabet which I could translate. So I can't just push tabs and return the setting to English, since I can't read the options. I have tried reinstalling the printer driver, but this did not work. It seems I need to do something to the printer itself, but I can't figure out how to do anything when I can't read the screen.

Sorry to hear you are having a similar problem. Last night I went to the tool bar at the top of iphoto, clicked on "File", then clicked "Browse Backups" in the drop down menu.    I have an external hard drive that is set up to Time Machine.   The Browse Backups opened the iphoto pages in the Time Machine. I selected a date one day ahead of the day I performed the now infamous update, and it showed my iphoto library as it had existed that day.   I then clicked "Restore Library" at the bottom right corner of the Time Machine screen.   Roughly 2 hours later my iphoto was back to normal.   When I opened iphoto there was a message saying I need to upgrade my program to be compatible with the new version of iphoto(version 9.2.1). I clicked "Upgrade" and within seconds it had done whatever upgrading it needed to do.
The only glitch in the restoration was that it restored the library as it appeared last week, so I no longer had photos I had imported this past weekend.   I simply went back to the Browse Backups in the drop down menu, when Time Machine opened I selected the page showing my pictures from this weekend and again said to Restore Library.   Roughly 45 minutes later the library was restored including the most recent photos.
I am now a happy camper.
I don't know if any of this will be of help to you because your email says you are having trouble with photos imported after the upgrade was performed.   Have you had any pop up notices when you first open iphoto, that tell you you need an upgrade to be compatible with the new iphoto?     If so have you clicked "upgrade"?

The Firefox Page Zoom feature does a domain by domain level of saving the users preferred zoom level settings, there is no default Page Zoom level setting in Firefox and there's no display of zoom %.
