Can't receive account verification e-mail?

Im trying to get icloud up and running but can't get e-mail verification of my account. Any ideas????

Same problem.
My email account for my Apple ID is Gmail.
I added my work email address (not Gmail) as an alternate address and got the verifcation email straight away, no bother.
But I need my ID verifying to use iCloud.
Any help Apple?

I am having the same problem. I have created an e-mail accont with Ovi.com and have also signed up for Windows Live. I am not recieving the e-mail to verify my Ovi account with Windows Live. I have turned off the spam filter on Ovi yet, I have had no progress. Does anyone have an idea to why this is occuring and have a solution to the problem?

Why aren't I receiving the account verification e-mail for iCloud?

I'm not receiving the verification e-mail after repeated attempts. My e-mail address is my apple ID, is valid and is a gmail account. I'm logged in but the account is not verified. And no, the e-mail is not in my spam or trash folder, lol.

Update! I deleted the account on my iPhone (which was never really set up to begin with) and set up the iCloud through my iPad. Worked immediately. Now my mac, iPhone and iPad are all good to go. Hmmm, but yay!

With sparse information you give I would venture that you have not set up the correct Outgoing Mail Server settings in Mail>Preferences>Accounts. Contact your ISP for their set up.

Here is some information that you may find helpful with this issue.
I'm not receiving the verification code via SMS.
Make sure that you have a strong cellular network connection on your phone.
Make sure that your phone number can receive SMS messages. You can do this by asking someone to send you a text message.
Make sure that the correct phone number is associated with your account:
iOS 7.0.3 or later: Tap Settings > iCloud > Account, then tap Keychain. Make sure the phone number under Verification Number is correct. If not, enter another phone number.
OS X Mavericks v10.9 or later: Choose Apple () > System Preferences. Click iCloud, then click Account Details. Make sure the phone number listed under Verification number is correct. If not, enter another phone number.
If you can't access a device that has iCloud Keychain enabled, you can contact Apple Support and verify your identity to get help completing iCloud Keychain setup.

Not receiving the verification e-mail from Apple

I wonder if anyone can help me. For some reason, I never receive the verification e-mail for my Apple ID, I receive other e-mails from Apple OK but not the verification one, which means that I cannot set up Facetime on my iPad.
Any suggestions how to get past this please ?

For some reason I can't receive or send e-mail on my ipad through wifi. All my account settings are correct and the e-mail does work with a sim-card. But not with wifi. Can anybody help me?

I use my own wifi. I have more than one e-mail account: a gmail-account, a knp telecom-account and my own 2maalee-account.
On my iphone I can receive all my e-mail, but I can only send e-mail through my gmail account.
On my mac I can use all my accounts throug wifi.
I don't know which spec my device is. I think ipad wifi.

I can not receive the verrification on my main email.
I have added a new email address and I have received immediatly the verrification of the email. Though the primary one is not recognize, it means that all my iCloud can not be verrefied...and icloud does not work.
I have aslo tried to contact Apple support...but I am aske to Pay for the support because i have an iPhone 3GS...and it is out of warranty.
Isn't it crazy? There is a problem withe Apple iCloud and I need to pay for support?
...and then when I try to change the email address...I get an error that my new email address is in use.

I recently purchased a new iPad Air2 and the only problem I'm having is setting up my iCloud account. I set up the username/password but when I request a verification e-mail it doesn't arrive. I've checked my junk/spam mail folders and I've been receiving other emails from Apple, so I know it's not a communication issue. The requests were done through icloud.com, over the iPad settings, and through the iCloud client I downloaded onto my computer. Is there a way to fix this situation? Thanks!

Make sure you are checking the email address you used to set up your iCloud account and that the account can receive email. If it isn't there, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right click Resend under your Primary Email Address to resend the verification email. If it never arrives, try contacting the Apple account security team for your country and ask for assistance: Apple ID: Contacting Apple for help with Apple ID account security. Hello! I recently got a new MacBook Pro w/ Retina display and am trying to set up my iCloud account with the device. When I put in my password in through iCloud in the settings, it tells me that a verification e-mail has been sent to me. I have tried resending it a dozen times and I keep checking my e-mail but nothing is coming through. I have no idea what else to try? Hopefully someone can help? Thank you!

Make sure you check the primary email address associated with the ID, and that you check both the inbox and junk/spam folders. Can't receive gmail in mac mail

I recently changed passwords in my gmail account (hack attempt) but now I can't receive mail from that account in Mail. I have several email accounts and they all filter into Mail for ease of access. I've tried many things (e.g. resetting keychain, entering password in Mail account preferences, etc.) but nothing works. Any help is much appreciated!

I should also add that when I try to send a Gmail message to myself at my Gmail address using the Gmail smtp server, the message activity bar goes about 1/2 way across and then just stalls.. Then I have two spinning gizmos - one next to my Sent box and one next to my Gmail box. I just tried sending out of my mobile me acct and that doesn't seem to go out either now.
I should also mention that yesterday I accidentally drug in a whole Project out of iPhoto to send a picture to someone and didn't realize Mail was trying to send the whole project. I saw under Mail activity that this was going to take forever, so I tried to cancel it. That may be part of the problem. Bad things started happening after that. I do also in my Gmail acct under the Sent Folder, a solid circle to the right of it with just a tiny part of it showing white, like it was at the beginning of sending something big, but never finished. Is there a way to clear all this out, as I'm suspecting something went amiss there - just a guess.

I am experiencing the same problem as jhemils. Mine is a hotmail account and I have gone through every possible scenario presented by the link you provided. I have checked spam filters and spellings and everything checks out on my end. As far as I can tell, something seems to be wrong on the Apple side of things. Could you please look into this and see what's up?
