Can't receive any form of Media Content on my phone!!
I have a windows nokia luma 520 Go Phone, I can't receice any media nor send any. If anyone has a solution, please help. Thank you.
It seems the SIM card isn't active. If you have prepaid service, power cycle the phone.
Last resort, go to an ATT corporate store for a new SIM card.

Having issues receiving MMS and/or media content. I have visited several forums and did successfully receive at least one photo and sent one photo sucessfully. However, I am now unable to receive media via MMS. Phone displays message: "Get Media Content Now 30KB", but it only emits a tone after pressing. I have add a MMS VPN already. Any suggestions??? Why 127.0.0.1 can not receive any data,but MulticastAddress can?
Why 127.0.0.1 can not receive any data,but MulticastAddress(224.123.111.101) can? I use jmfstudio to tansport media and set the dest address to 127.0.0.1.I use anther jmfstudio,and fail to receive it.(ps:wo jmfstudio runs in the same machine at the same time).But after I change the dest addrest to 224.123.111.101,it receive data.Can any one tell me why?
The origin code is to transmit stream is(ip 127.0.0.1 ,port 22222)

As you said,the receiver reports 22222 is used.
But After I change it to

Yeah but when Iphone users who send me messages send them in iMessage, it never gets switched to SMS!

Try doing a reset, no data loss. Hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.

Help, I'm Canadian and have an iPhone 5c. I take my phone to the USA for the winter and can't receive any texts unless I'm connected to wifi. Have tried everything I can think of and nothing works. Can anyone help? Tried complete reboot, delegating all threads. Turning off iMessage altogether, then I get nothing!
iMessage (the blue bubble) will only come through via a data connection - cellular or wifi. With cellular data turned off, those messages will not come through until you have a wifi connection.
SMS (green bubble) should still come through, but you would need to verify this with your carrier in Canada.

Hello Ashik, I received a message few days ago, telling me that my iCloud account would be downloaded to 5GB by Sept. 30. Until here everything is ok. But since that day I can´t receive any email in my iCloud account. Randomely appears a message that says that I´m using more of space than it´s allowed to use for backups, etc. When I check my info in the account settings, it says that I have 3.9 GB free, I dont understand what´s going on here, What should I do? h

I'm assuming that you only use Yahoo mail on the web and not through a mail client, such as Outlook or Thunderbird?
Also, make sure all of your Yahoo emails are going directly to the Yahoo inbox and not to sub folders or junk folders. Only the inbox will be delivered to your BlackBerry.

Launch iTunes on your computer, plug the phone in & on the "Summary Pane", select "Restore". This will restore the phone to factory settings with all of your son's stuff gone. You can now use it as an iPod touch. To do this REQUIRES the deactivated sim card be still installed in the phone.

Just Updated iPhone 3GS to iOS5, Can't receive any incoming calls at all
Hi, I just updated my phone to iOS5 and now, I'm having these troubles.
- Can't receive any incoming calls at all
- The incoming calls directly goes to voice mail greeting
- No incoming rings & no missed calls alerts
- Also noticed the incoming text with 4 to 5 hours delays
- Sometimes 3G network get lost
The reception (status bar) is good level, can make outgoing calls okay and can send text okay.
I did try reset the network setting and it seems working a few hours then went back to troubles (mentioned above).
I've done 3 or 4 times reset but none have been resolved yet.
Anyone having a same issues?

I can send files fine, but I can't receive any...
I can send mp3s, pics etc with no problems at all, but I can't receive any files that are sent to me. It always tells me that it is waiting for the other computer to begin, and it always tell the sender that it is waiting for me to accept. I thought by clicking on the file in the chat window was accepting the file? Anyone have any ideas?
A possible cause:
If you use a .mac or AIM account and drop files in the chat window, they might get qeued, the AOL servers can apply "Rate limiting", which prevents a user from sending too many messages in a short amount of time. Once a user is rate limited, he/she is temporarily unable to send messages, but he/she may still receive messages.
If you have troubles transfering files, drop files in the buddylist instead of the chat window.
