Can't receive invites

Hi community,
since few days I'm not able to receive calendar invites on my iOS devices which are sent to my icloud account.
I already checked my AppleID and it is not used somewhere else as seconary mail.
I also have disabled iCloud on my device and enabled again... Also without luck.
Do you have an idea how I can get rid of this problem?

no what I meant was I have read through what information it gave me when I asked the question and other than checking my wifi or checking my iMessage is on or checking my number and email address was correct I didn't think that the information applied to my specific problem so that is why I asked the question? I asummed it would be something simple and silly that I am doing wrong. I have not spoken to any technicians, I am new to this site and you can probably tell I'm not that knowledgable with technology so I apologise if I have put you out, I don't feel your rudeness or your sarcasim towards me was necessary. Don't worry I will go into an apple shop and ask instead.

I can't receive invitations to shared photostream

Hello,
My friend started a shared photostream group and while everyone else can get the invitation every time he attempts to send me one it says
'Invitation cannot be sent to this phone number' or something of that manner
I've already made sure that Photostream and shared photostream options were turned on for my iphone and I am currently updated
It's driving us nuts trying to figure out what is wrong and I've been looking online for answer but nobody seems to have this issue

Can't receive invites in Caledar/ inbox

I have IOS7 but this was the same in IOS 6.
I have a hotmail account that is set up on the phone as an exchange account and I can view emails and calendar entries.
When I send an Outlook meeting request to this email account, no invite appears in the Inbox of Calendar, and the email I receive in the Mail Inbox has an .ics file that the iphone doesnt recognise.
how do I fix this?

Calendar Server user can not receive external invites

Hi,
We have a MacPro running ML Server 10.8.5 with 10 user accounts using the calendar and file server services.
Calendar server is where the issue is. We have 10 + users that are set up to send and receive external invites in calendar server without a problem. Recently, one of the user accounts stopped receiving external invites. The problem began not long after I set up a second account for the same user for their shared calendars (they requested this so all shared cals were not on their iOS devices). Although I used a separate email, it was an alias of the first so may have caused a conflict / problem (?). I got rid of the second account with no change to the first.
The account still receives invites from the other internal user accounts and the other services such as file sharing are unaffected. There are no other problems with the functionality of that user, in calendar or otherwise.
I have tried changing the email associated with that user account and setting up a new test user account (in Server). The email invite will still not come through.
I have changed it back to the way it was originally.
Summary
One of 10 user accounts does not receive external invites
Was working until recently
The account can send invites to external addresses
Same email address will not work even when associated with a different account
I have included a large section of the calendar error log from the part that references the email address (in red) attached to the user account in question. Apologies, I am not familiar with deciphering this information. That is why I've come here.
Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry, I should have mentioned, that it what my first thought so I tested by ensuring the email address associated with the user account (not hosted on the server but by Google Apps) is recieving all other mail.
I have also tried:
- Setting all accounts (calendar, email and contact card with associated email address) in another local user on a defferent Mac. So it's not a local user or Mail app issue.
- Sending invites from different Calendar apps and email accounts - iCloud, Gmail (both using Apple Calendar and the web interface).
That's why I came back around to thinking it must be calendar server related. However is there is absolutly no conntact with the server with incoming email invites I must be looking in the wrong place (and the wrong forum - sorry!).
Does anyone have any ideas where I should be focusing my efforts?

I can send event invitations from ical but can not receive them --invites go to another family member email

I am using Lion and everything was working fine -- until I got a new mac and set the older one up for my husband and put his user account on the old mac.
Now I can send ical invitations out and can get replies -- but if someone else originiates an invitation to me -- I don't get the invite on my new mac. My husband gets it on the older mac I set up for him in his Ical. We have totally different emails and when I click on the email name in the invite it is addressed to me and my email address but it comes on my husband's ical.
I can't figure it out???
If I originate the event invite I have no problem getting the replies -- but when someone else originates the invite -- it comes on my husband's ical (with my name and email address)
Please help -- this is driving me crazy!!

Hello. Did you ever find a solution to this issue? I'm having the same one. My wife's iCal invitations are showing up in my iCal "Inbox" but are not coming to me via email. I discovered this while troubleshooting the issue just now...and saw that I had 10+ iCal invites for which I never received email notifications.
I never proactively check iCal, so definitely need to resolve this issue, as receiving emailed invitations is the only way they're filed into my iCal. Thanks for any insight!

I can't receive some iCal invitations in MS Exchange Outlook.

At work I use MS Exchange Outlook. I also use an iPhone and an iPad. When certain people send me iCal invitations, I don't receive an email in MS Exchange Outlook and, therefore, can't add them to my MS Exchange Outlook calendar. When they appear in my apple devices, the invitation doesn't include my MS Outlook calendar as an option. What do I do?

What's your account type in your Outlook? Does the issue only happen to meeting request? How about sending or receiveing emails?
Please check whether the meeting request can be send and receive in Webmail. Also check whether you can send/receive meeting request from Windows users.

I can't receive calendar invites but I can send them?

I can send calendar invites but I can't receive them? I don't have an icloud email only my yahoo account. I've checked to make sure only that email address is linked to my Itunes account....I've checked my settings agaisnt my husbands phone and they are the same?
Anyone know whats happening or how to resolve?

The calendar will remain on the server and should be restored when you add back the account. Regardless of that, you can back up a calendar by exporting it:

Can't receive Calendar invites (.mac or .me)

Recently, I have been unable to receive Calendar invitations at my .mac email address. Oddly, if I am invited at my .icloud address (which nobody I know knows about) I do receive the invitation. Also, if I send an invitation from Calendar to my wife's .me address, she receives it. However, if she tries to send an invite to my .me address, like my .mac address, Calendar indicates no reply or unable to send. It used to work quite well, but has become squirly, and now that only my .icloud address seems to work in Calendar, an address that nobody knows, the system has become unusable. Any ideas?

I do experience the same issue, but I would say that it is not all...
When my friends (iCloud users too) send me invites on mac.com (I told them to do so in order to make it work), and I accept these, they never receive the answers since my mail address is [email protected] and not the one they sent invites to.... that is unbelievable ! I can not use invites with other iCloud users ! Please Apple fix it as soon as possible !

Calendar - Cannot Receive Invites or Acceptances

Hello,
I'm hoping someone can help me as I have not been successful with Telus Technical Support.
I am a regular cellphone/smartphone user - I use it for personal reasons and do not have a plan with my workplace. I have had my BB since December 2007. Since that time I have always been able to send Calendar invites, receive Calendar Acceptances and receive Calendar Invites from other users (both Telus & Rogers).
Now, I can only send Calendar Invites.
As of June 16, 2009, I can no longer receive Calendar Acceptances or Calendar Invites.
Telus has said this is because I am not on BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
IS THIS TRUE????
If so, then why are all the other BlackBerry users I know, able to send, receive invites and recive acceptances without any problems?
Please note that I have already wiped my system clean and restored it with a Back-Up. I can also send and receive emails from my BB without any problems. I am using the BB Calendar Application and do not sync it with any other apps. As well, there is only 1 email address associated with my BB and it is a blackberry.net address.
Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.

I Used to able to accept events from outside the iCloud world and add them automatically to the calendar.
NOw nothing.

I can not receive shared photo stream notifications - not getting iCloud notifications when someone is trying to share photo stream?

I understand you are not being prompted for invites to a Shared Photo Stream. Please see the following information:
I opted out of receiving iCloud Photo Sharing invitations, but now I'd like to subscribe to shared photo streams.
If you still have an email invitation, open it and click “Don't Send Me Photo Stream Emails” at the bottom of the message. A browser window will open and show that you're no longer receiving photo stream invitations. Click “Undo this change.”
If you no longer have an invitation, contact Apple Support and ask to opt back in to receiving photo stream invitations. After you opt in, you won't receive previous invitations automatically, but you can contact the owner of a shared stream and ask to be invited again.

Best way to send/receive invitations with Outlook users?

I use iCloud with the Calendar app, but most of my colleagues inside and outside the company use Outlook on Windows.
I have found that the invitations are tricky between the two systems. When I send invites the person using Outlook gets a formatted HTML email with an Accept button but they don't know how to get it into their calendars. Also when I receive invitations, I can accept them but its not sending back by acceptance status to the Outlook user.
Are there any work arounds for this?

They would either need to install iCloud on Windows or you could use a Google calendar that is widely used on Windows.
I'm not sure how Outlook on Windows works with non Microsoft calendars.

I understand you are not receiving iMessages when you are not connected to the internet. You will need some sort of data connection to receive an iMessage, Wi-Fi or cellular data. If you are connected to data and are still not receiving iMessages please you the information in the following article to isolate and resolve the situation.

Can not receive data 10054

My version of Essbase is 6.5.1.4. On the server machine it self when I am adding members to outline I get "Can not receive data 10054". To resolve this problem I tried to increase the server page file size but the problem persist.Does anyone know a solution to this problem?SAK

How exactly are you retrieving data; is it smartview, excel addin, forms, reports etc ?

Do not delete the old account yet. sign up for an iCloud account if you haven't.
I understand .mac mail will still come through. Do not delete the old account yet.
You cannot use .mac or MobileMe as type of Account, you have to choose IMAP when setting up, otherwise Mail is hard coded to change imap.mail.me.com to mail.me.com & smtp.mail.me.com to smtp.me.com, no matter what you try to enter.
iCloud Mail setup, do not choose .mac or MobileMe as type, but choose IMAP...
On second step where it asks "Description", it has to be a unique name, but you can still use your email address.
IMAP (Incoming Mail Server) information:
          •          Server name: imap.mail.me.com
          •          SSL Required: Yes
          •          Port: 993
          •          Username: [email protected] (use your @me.com address from your iCloud account)
          •          Password: Your iCloud password
SMTP (outgoing mail server) information:
          •          Server name: smtp.mail.me.com
          •          SSL Required: Yes
          •          Port: 587
          •          SMTP Authentication Required: Yes
          •          Username: [email protected] (use your @me.com address from your iCloud account)
          •          Password: Your iCloud password
Also, you must upgrade your password to meet the new criteria: 8 characters, including upper and lower case and numbers. If you have an older password that does not meet these criteria, when you try to setup mail on your mac, using all of the IMAP criteria listed above, it will still give a server error message. Go to   http://appleid.apple.com         then follow directions to change your password, then go back to setting up your mail using the IMAP instructions above.
